The Truffle Mac n Cheese touched my soul ❤️ Best I’ve ever had.
The view of the Bay is second to none 👌🏽
The food was amazing the Mac and cheese tasted watered down though ( I am a chef ) the host was rude but the cold made up for it
Great food. Service slow. Parking validation did not work, expensive parking.
Diner at M & K for my birthday dinner. We were given a window seat centered in the restaurant overlooking the bay. Wait staff was prompt for the most part, our wait(ress) forgot things we asked for a couple times but we were in no hurry. The food was perfect. I can’t express how good the shrimp and crab stuffed salmon was and it wasn’t even my dish. The atmosphere was very elegant and quiet. We were exceptionally pleased.
The food is consistently fresh and well prepared. The staff very attentive and the value is quite good.
I enjoyed a dinner with my students who for the first time visited San Francisco. All of the sea foods served were impressing to them. Also, the ocean view from a window is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Very accommodating to menu alterations.
Porciones muy bien servidas
Happy to find McCormick's & Koleto's on Open Table, we reserved, arriving a little early, we sat in the very nice bar, unfortunately for another 40 minutes. Finally had to ask the hostess when we could be seated. It seemed the restaurant was overwhelmed, although not at capacity. Once seated, it took some time to be recognized, not even water. Finally our server said they were not expecting the volume of patrons & took our order. The food was delicious, our server was pleasant, & efficient, although obviously slammed. The view is one of the best on the bay. All in all it was quite relaxing once we settled in. I certainly hope this was a Sunday night misstep. It is quite a beautiful restaurant.
The food was good. The waiter did not really know about wine and brought the wrong one. He also slammed the plates on the table. The restaurant was packed and we had a reservation but this did not save us from being placed near a busing station that was unbearably loud. Overall the food was good but the experience was not.
Excellent service & great food!
The location was ideal. The parking was super easy. We arrived on time and got seated right away. We weren’t acknowledged by the wait staff for 10 minutes. We ordered drinks and waited for those for 10 minutes. We flagged done a server and finally started to get service but it wasn’t stellar. The manager did comp an appetizer for the delay but frankly the service didn’t improve much after that either. Less than impressed. Food was great!
We have been enjoying this San Francisco landmark restaurant for years. The recently refreshed ambience, the great food and superb service all make for the perfect meal. The member bonuses provided by affiliation with Landry Restaurants makes this an even better dining choice. Enjoy!
The beautiful setting and outstanding service saved the birthday celebratory dinner. The food was not up to expectations for a fine dining restaurant.
Steven was a wonderful server
The restaurant was well kept. Why did we have a surcharge added to the bill?
Our server was new; didn’t know the drinks or several items on the menu. Gave my husband the wrong swordfish dish; by the time he realized, it was so busy he didn’t bother to tell her. She was very pleasant and friendly, just didn’t seem quite ready to be on her own. Food was tasty and service was fast, would come back again.
I loved that they added a personal touch to our menus with a Happy birthday message.
Food was Good and service was Average based on the manager and overlooked special occasion. We had a Landry Card and the manager came at the end with the bill and just dropped it off at our table like it was nothing and didn't introduce herself. When we use it at a casual sister restaurant, Claim Jumper we get more recognition for it. When I booked the reservation on Open Table I marked we were celebrating a birthday and it was totally overlooked. :-(
The service from start to finish was wonderful. It was my mom's 80th birthday and they even put "Happy 80th Birthday Mom" and the date on the top of every menu. It was a nice added touch that makes this restaurant a favorite in my family.
Birthday. 6pm- parking close by. Busy but seated quickly even as we were 15 min. early on a Sat. Night.
Besides a watery salad the food was excellent. Service was so so.
Smoked beef carpachio was off the scale awesome. Scallops and shrimp dish [forget the name] was yummy. Sesame ahi was not so good. Cold and stringy. 🤔
Service was not bad but not good either. I expected more attention.
Great views , great service and outstanding food
While our service was exceptional, half the meals we ordered were outright terrible, regardless of price. The seafood was actually superb, but both steaks (ribeyes) were cooked incorrectly and were extremely chewy; inexcusable with this cut of meat.
It was also cold in the restaurant; it's been chilly out, but when I'm paying good money for a meal I expect to at least not need my coat at the table.
Dinner here was great, they went above and beyond to help me celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. Our waitress, Rachel was great as well. The food and the view were well worth the trip!
Too fast service did not give us time to enjoy and then decide. Pushed a membership plan?? Not appropriate.
The most lovely waterfront location in San Francisco and the most mediocre food and service.
Wish the owners would read the reviews and make some changes.
Food was not prepared very well and we had to send some items back to the kitchen. This was disappointing. With all of the other wonderful dining experiences and options in the area, we will not return.
The view of San Francisco bay at sunset was outstanding, and I don't believe there was a table without the view. The seafood was excellent, and the ambiance was great.
Very inexperienced service, table wasn’t ready, oysters came with no sauce, food very mediocre
This restaurant was a last minute find on google, but boy am I so happy I found it, the food waS extremely tasty and it was very romantic, the views are amazing day or night, I would highly recommend this place to everyone. All of the staff was very professional and polite. Definetly one of my favorites and I will be going back for sure!
alaskan crab was terrible. tasted old. the bar was out of two of their signature drinks. cheese plate had 8 oz of cheese and 4 pieces of crostini. lobster dip was cold and could not taste the lobster. could only taste the mayo.
Seated half hr. late after hostess assured us they were on time. Both service and food was slow. Wife didn't get what she ordered, but ate it as opposed to waiting another hour for correct dish. Overall, very disappointing experience
Good food server wasn't great
We had a 6:30 reservation. We weren't sat until 7:15. We were lucky to get a seat at the bar and have a cocktail while waiting. When we were finally seated it looked like 1/2 the dining room was empty...maybe they didn't have enough servers(?) The oysters were the best part of the meal paired with a delightful sparkling tasting. The truffle mac and cheese was atrocious! The filet was over cooked. We spent close to $300 for two, what a disappointment! The dining room was beautiful.
I wanted to take my girlfriend to a nice restaurant, with great views, for Valentine's Day. I saw the amazing ocean view pictures on the McCormick & Kuleto's website and decided this was the place. I'm so happy I did because we had a wonderful experience. We had reservations, but still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, but it was not a problem as they were incredibly busy. We got a great table with a spectacular view, which we were very happy about. We got our drinks and appetizer very quickly. I did have to waive our waiter over to place our main course order, but as I mentioned earlier, it was very busy, and our waiter was hustling, so no problem. The food was spectacular, and reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Our waiter was great, and as attentive as possible considering the place was jam packed. I would definitely come again many times. Thank you for the great experience!
Very disappointing experience. Arriving 20 minutes earlier than our reservation, we were told to come back in 20 minutes. We decided to wait inthe upper level bar. I ordered a glass of wine and my dining companion ordered water. I got my wine and we had to ask again for her water. When our table was ready, I had to settle the bar tab before getting seated. I would have expected my wine to be part of my dinner tab. Our food orders took an exceptionally long time and we had to ask for my companion’s crab cake a second time before it arrived. Although the view is lovely, overall the lack of expected service levels destroyed the evening.
Great service, and food, location was perfect to take a stroll around after eating. Ghirardelli square was next door so we were able to get dessert also.
