What a view. This restaurant has looked amazing for years but it is showing a bit of wear. Excellent calamari, two great salads and yummy, garlicky steamed clams.
Very uninvolved service. Let’s have some smiles and conversation here.
Great view, food and service. The Tuna was amazing.
Lovely meal in lovely location
Amazing views of San Francisco bay from nearly every table. The tables are spaced far apart lending to a more intimate experience for diners. Food and drinks were all amazing. Staff were friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. Our best dining experience while in San Francisco at half the price of some other restaurants in town.
The view and ambiance is so spectacular! The service was great. Wine list was great too.
Great view, wonderful service and fantastic food.
Food and service are great. Wonderful view. Prices reasonable.
food was good , could of been a little warmer,,, great view of the bay, and Alcatraz. Also lot of people touring the sights of fisherman's wharf. very friendly staff. The restaurant is tiered seating which makes all the seats in the house with a view.
The Scallops with bacon and the stuffed salmon is a must. Great service. Will be back soon. Great experience.
Great seafood. Nice views and ambiance.
The bay views are GREAT! As a local, it is easy to forget the magnificence of the San Francisco Bay. This was the site for my marriage, and it was a great place to celebrate the anniversary of our meeting 20-year ago. The evening, the food and the service was outstanding.
We had reservations at 6:15 and I arrived early for Happy Hour. The waitress in the bar area was really nice, but it took a while to order and receive my drink (about 15 minutes) even though the bar area was less than half of capacity. At 6:15, I asked to be seated but the hostess told me that everyone in the party has to be present in order to be seated. There were only 3 of us and the restaurant wasn't full at all, so I thought this policy was a bit strict given the lack of patrons at the time. Upon seating, our waiter and staff were very friendly and responsive. Our dinner was prepared quickly and was excellent. Overall, it was a good experience despite the initial setbacks early in the evening.
Nice view. Easter is a buffet brunch.
The food is simply AMAZING. Chef Romero has a very special talent with food. Simply excellent!!
The service was aweful
Everything was perfect! It was my wife's Birthday and they made sure to make it a special experience, highly recommend, food and service was excellent!
The crab/shrimp had no flavor. Kind of embarrassed because we're known for crab in SF.
The food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
My wife and i were visiting San Francisco, and i wanted to take her out for a nice dinner. I made a dinner reservation arriving 10 min prior, and we waited 15 min thereafter to be seated. The waitress said she was busy and asked us to order everything at once..hmmm..ok..we ordered cocktails, an appitizer, and alaskan king crab legs. After 15 min another waitress said they were out of a strawberry mix so they couldnt make the one cocktail...odd , but ok, after a good 30 min, a waitress came to our table explaining that they've been very busy today and were out of alaskan king crab legs...seriously!?
..overall, this was the worst experience ive ever had at any resturant...there was no mention of free drinks for the inconvience, no apology from mgt. Extreamly disappointed!!
Very nice and great food
The best restaurant for
happy hour in San Francisco
The food was awful. The service was worse. We had to eat our oysters with dinner forks. Once served no one came close enough to ask for anything else. The view is wonderful, but save your money and stay outside for it.
We had a reservation, we arrived on time and even when the restaurant was half empty they made us wait 14 minutes at the entrance. Service was terrible. Poor waiter kept on forgetting stuff. Ordered a glass of white and a glass of red wine and he gave us 2 white wines, food was cold, etc etc
Consistently good food with a unique preparation to the known menu items. Tonight seemed to be a bit understaffed as our server was spread thin and spent as much time busing tables as paying attention to diners. We stared an hour earlier than dinner reservation in the bar where service was outstanding for both drinks and appetizers. Overall a good evening with great bay views and food.
Excellent sturgeon was particularly good but some wine obscenely overpriced. Oyster bay SB at $50, retails at Safeway for $11.
Excellent seafood platter, I am a fan! Love it here for lunch, dinner and Happy Hours!
The Truffle Mac n Cheese touched my soul ❤️ Best I’ve ever had.
The view of the Bay is second to none 👌🏽
The food was amazing the Mac and cheese tasted watered down though ( I am a chef ) the host was rude but the cold made up for it
Great food. Service slow. Parking validation did not work, expensive parking.
Diner at M & K for my birthday dinner. We were given a window seat centered in the restaurant overlooking the bay. Wait staff was prompt for the most part, our wait(ress) forgot things we asked for a couple times but we were in no hurry. The food was perfect. I can’t express how good the shrimp and crab stuffed salmon was and it wasn’t even my dish. The atmosphere was very elegant and quiet. We were exceptionally pleased.
The food is consistently fresh and well prepared. The staff very attentive and the value is quite good.
I enjoyed a dinner with my students who for the first time visited San Francisco. All of the sea foods served were impressing to them. Also, the ocean view from a window is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Very accommodating to menu alterations.
Porciones muy bien servidas
Happy to find McCormick's & Koleto's on Open Table, we reserved, arriving a little early, we sat in the very nice bar, unfortunately for another 40 minutes. Finally had to ask the hostess when we could be seated. It seemed the restaurant was overwhelmed, although not at capacity. Once seated, it took some time to be recognized, not even water. Finally our server said they were not expecting the volume of patrons & took our order. The food was delicious, our server was pleasant, & efficient, although obviously slammed. The view is one of the best on the bay. All in all it was quite relaxing once we settled in. I certainly hope this was a Sunday night misstep. It is quite a beautiful restaurant.
The food was good. The waiter did not really know about wine and brought the wrong one. He also slammed the plates on the table. The restaurant was packed and we had a reservation but this did not save us from being placed near a busing station that was unbearably loud. Overall the food was good but the experience was not.
Excellent service & great food!
The location was ideal. The parking was super easy. We arrived on time and got seated right away. We weren’t acknowledged by the wait staff for 10 minutes. We ordered drinks and waited for those for 10 minutes. We flagged done a server and finally started to get service but it wasn’t stellar. The manager did comp an appetizer for the delay but frankly the service didn’t improve much after that either. Less than impressed. Food was great!
