We had a great experience. The service was nice and the steaks were exceptional.
I love that this place accepts reservations, however we arrived and were seated by 7:05, we ordered our drinks at 7:09, and did not receive them until 7:35 after I asked our waiter where they were. Our water cups were empty quite a bit and our waiter just seemed to disappear quite a bit. The food however was excellent. The best pork chops I have ever tasted. A big complaint for me though, is how does a place that is higher end, serve canned soda. And it was either reallly old canned soda or a 2 liter because there was no carbonation. I think this place has a lot of potential, but needs a ton of work on providing a better customer experience.
The beer was cold the waiters attentive and the food was very good. The steaks were perfect. The fried quail needed salt, both on the meat and in the breading. We had a terrific birthday meal and a great time. We will be back.
Great food. Excellent service. No complaints.
Great whiskey selection in a unique old-time saloon atmosphere. Outstanding liquor selection other than whiskey. Frog legs and chicken livers were very good. Steaks were cooked perfectly and sides were very good. Overall, our table of 7 was happy with my restaurant selection.
This was our first time at McClintock's and were unfortunately disappointed. We arrived at 1 and didn't receive our order until after 2pm. And one of the 3 of us did not receive what we ordered. Nothing crazy but were hoping for a better Easter celebration.
Probably the worst steak I’ve ever had, was cooked as ordered but was so stringy and tough it was impossible to finish.
I’ve been wanting to try out this place for months. Skeptical after reading the previous reviews, we tried it but would not return. Like a couple previous reviews it all depends on your server. Our service was not good. After sitting down and waiting probably 10-15 minutes we were greeted with “I didn’t know you were back here” we were not given any daily specials, no information about anything. I overheard all the specials after we placed our order from another very attentive server. The steak nachos were fair as an appetizer cold on top, warm on bottom. The food was fine just nothing i would return for. Several different people kept bringing our food and another even took our order. We were never clear on who the actual server was. The salmon was good. Husband ordered a medium ribeye but used steak sauce, so I drew my own conclusion. The Creme Brûlée was good and only $5 best thing we ordered.
Seems like the place would be a great spot for a drink at the bar.
They were out of 5 items we were ordering. They gave us an appetizer “on the house” to apologize for that issue.
Always enjoy eating here. Steaks were excellent and sides great as well. Only disappointment this trip was service. Felt as though we were an inconvenience to the wait team. We will go back because this is the first blip in several trips but it’s something to watch.
Medium rare steak was tough, tough to cut, pork chops were dry, not a touch of seasoning on anything. Was promised a booth, got an awkward table in the middle of the room next to some loud people and some guy who ordered a well done steak!!! Won't be going back. Food was boring, server was cool, but hostess weren't. I make a reservation, I expect my seat as promised to be ready. Not stand around for 5 min waiting for a table I wasn't promised.
We always have a great experience at this restaurant. Everyone is always very friendly and accommodating. We always try to sit in Dawn’s section. She is amazing. I wish they had better choices on their appetizer menu. Some larger size appetizers for a bigger group. Also, my wife would love to see more fun “fruity” options on the cocktail menu, ones that are less “spirit forward”. The food is always amazing, the steaks are cooked to perfection and fair portioned. We will continue to take new friends to this restaurant. The ambience is optimal for conversation and is the perfect example of Midwestern culture.
Everything was great execpt the quail. It was very greasy and over fried.
Met family from out of town there because it had been highly recommended to them. We sat in the saloon, which is a fun atmosphere. It was hard to hear each other or the waiter. My family all got steaks and said their food was great. I got the margarita pasta with grilled chicken. Pasta was great. Chicken was a little dry. Their biscuits are really good too!
Delicious as always. I have dined here a few times and couple times for lunch as well and it never disappoints. Best steaks in the city. Definitely beats the other steakhouse in the stockyards.
First timer and was amazing! Loved the food and the services was great. Looking forward to going back soon.
6 person party.
The waitress was rude immediately, though she thought she was funny. Out of multiple options.
Basic drinks were watered down. Cocktails were not mixed well. Steaks were stringy, definitely NOT prime. Just poorly executed in just about every way.
Really nice staff. Good food. Great value. Awesome lemon drop martini.
No wait, great food and great service!
Pleasantly surprised with the food and the service was outstanding. Wish we had made it in time for the Game of the Day feature on the menu, maybe next time. Will definitely be back!
Only complaint was that we were told they were out of butter. Fully loaded backed potato would have been much better with it.
We waited a very long time for our food and the appetizers were not worth the money but our server was amazing and the main course was amazing. We will be back.
Food was really good and servers friendly. They really worked to provide a good dining experience for my party of eight.
We were seated in the bar area and enjoyed our service from Cory. Our food was well prepared, my steak was perfect. Food and drinks were fairly priced. We will return the next time we are in town.
Some of the best steak in OKC. Their cocktails are good as well. We love the atmosphere in the Saloon and have never eaten on the chop house side but it looks very nice.
Excellent staff/service through the entire experience. Menu was Devine, cudos to whoever made the recipes.
Food was delicious. Not one thing was other than amazing. Bone in steaks do take about 30-45 min so we chose other steaks due to that reason but the ones we saw at other tables looked amazing
We’ve been here several times but this time we were disappointed. Meals weren’t hot and waitress was kinda grippy.
We loved brunch at McClintock’s! It’s such a cute place and the food was delicious.
Food was delicious, however the server never refilled waters and was not informed about the food or drink menus. Reservation service was great and table was available.
Everything was great!
Nothing special and the menu did not match the dinner choices listed on their website
It was a great experience with an excellent steak and sides. The appetizer crab cake was amazing. We had the apple pie dessert and it was pretty good as well, not my favorite. Everything else was top notch.
We've been to McClintocks several times and it's always great!
We absolutely love this place. This is a must visit! Food, service and people are awesome. This place is a hidden gem.....if you haven't visited for at least brunch then you're missing out!!
The service was outstanding as was the food. Best steak I had in a long time. Will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended.
Wonderful food! Excellent service Saturday night at 6;00 1/30/3021
Our reservation was available immediately upon arrival. Our waitstaff was slow and lacked any sense of urgency. Our appetizers shared amongst the table were frog legs and steak nachos. The frog legs were hot, tasty, crispy - just great. The steak nachos were the complete opposite. Cold steak, all cheese sauce was on the bottom of the plate and not clinging to any chip. The large pile of onions on the top of the nachos were far from caramelized and so therefore cold almost raw onions.
We had high hopes for our dinner entrees. The filet, ordered medium, was brought out rare. However, the seer and flavor was great. The au gratin potato’s were good. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried quail were also enjoyed. Just lackluster for $130.
Excellent steaks and Monte Cristo sandwiches delish! Fried avocados-- the bomb! Fun atmosphere!! We enjoyed learning the history of the place! Everyone in our group enjoyed it!! Will come again!
Have eaten at Cattleman's many time when passing through OKC, thought we would try McClintocks around the corner for the 1st time on the way to the airport.
The saloon looks incredible but the service and food were way off on this day. Service was low and after 45 min our food showed up and the waitress took off. No salt pepper or syrup for our food. No drink refills. Cattleman's won't be passed up again!
