45 minutes into brunch, still no appetizers. Server had clearly forgotten to place the order. We left after apps finally arrived and went across the street to Cattleman’s.
The food was cold and took a long time, they were NOT busy. They seemed put out bc we asked for his food to be heated. My husband is immuno compromised and can risk getting sick with any food not to temperature. Coincidentally he became ill several hours later with GI issues. The waiter never took our used plates or not one time refilled the drinks. We will not be back. So disappointed in such a beautiful restaurant.
Highly recommended. Great food and friendly staff
Such an amazing experience. Great food and drinks. Unbelievable ambience.
Had reservations at 7 and did not get seated for 25 minutes. Server was ok. Food and appetizers so-so. Ask for top shelf bourbon; they didn't have any on a Saturday night.
Not impressed at all. Pretty run of the mill. Probably will not return. Pricey for what you get. Doesn't come close to Mickey Mantles, Broadway 10 or even Red Prime.
The food was great and our server was outstanding!
Service wasnt great. It was very slow and it wasnt that crowded. My steak tasted good, but was barely warm. The bar is very cool and the atmosphere is great. I’ll go back and give them a second chance on the steak.
Bad service cold food Never again!!
Too noisy, food was overcooked, drinks were great and service was great. So for a drink while shopping would be great, but we really can't recommend the food as it was Fair and therefore over priced for the quality.
This restaurant was exceptional. We were fortunate to get a great waitress. My wife had the chicken and waffles. I had the crab cakes. The food was excellent. We will make this one of our regular stops. The prices were very reasonable.
My steak, mushrooms, salad, and bread were absolutely delicious, which of course is what matters most. We made a last minute reservation, which seemed to get us seated in an annex-type room. Next time I’d be sure to request the bar or the main dining room. The decor is fun and really feels like you’ve stepped back in time.
Upon arrival we informed the server this was our first time here. No back story or explanation was given. We weren’t sure if it was a full menu available or just the brunch menu. I had my toddler with me wasn’t informed of any kids menu or options for her. Never got the appetizer we ordered. Took awhile to get our initial drink order/refills. I had asked the host stand for a different server prior to ordering food but this was never addressed. My husband’s steak was undercooked. Overall very poor service.
Service was good, food was great. Very good value for the cost.
1st time here the food was awesome. This time the food was meh. For $32 the ribeye was underseasoned, dry, and overcooked. I ordered medium rare and it came out between medium and medium well. I would have sent it back, but it took almost 40 min to get. The restaurant was not busy, maybe 10 patrons.
Food was great and drinks were perfect!
Steak is amazing and people work very kind and helpful.
Kyla gave my family and I excellent service for my parent’s anniversary. We were absolutely high maintenance and she handled it all with grace and poise. If I were still in the hospitality industry I would try to poach her. Lol. Just kidding.
Seriously though, she’s a keeper. Great job.
Excellent food.. we are going back soon!
The food seemed to take a long time to get. We got Baked Salmon, Fried Chicken, Filet and the Large Ribeye. The filet was supposed to be well done, but it came out medium with red meat. My wife ate around it and the waiter asked her how was her filet and she told him it wasn't cooked long enough and is still red. All he said was, I'm sorry. What he should have said was I'm sorry and I'll take it back and get it fixed right now. He seemed to not give a crap at all. We also had to constantly ask him to refill our drinks. We also asked for some more ranch for our salads and it never came. They were also out of some of the sides for your dinner, so we didn't get what I wanted. My steak was very good but for $65, it should be good. The atmosphere was fantastic, but I don't think we will be back. My bill was over $200 and I think for that price, I'll go somewhere else with better food and definitely better service.
Great steak I had the chicken pot pie it was good the puff pasty on top was a little sweet for a pot pie but it was still amazing
Crowded and understaffed
Went on a Saturday night, people lining up down the street to get into Cattlemens, but very little wait at McClintock, not a good sign. Reservations for 6, half table/half booth, dead fly on the table and half booth was covered in crumbs and residue from previous party. Steak nachos for appetizer, arrived slightly above room temperature and steak was almost non-existent. Entrees arrived, one guest got the chicken piccata, said it was the most disgusting thing ever, I tasted and had to agree, chicken over cooked and pasta was flavorless with no sauce to speak of and, again, barely above room temperature. I shared a strip steak with another guest, cooked fine, but not very hot and very gristly-took home for dogs. Green beans undercooked and crunchy. One guest had chicken fried steak, looked large but, in reality, just pounded so thin that the whole thing, breading and all, was about half and inch thick and very salty, also went home to dogs (minus the breading). One guest got the ribeye, normally has more fat, LOTS of fat, did not go home to the dogs. Mac and cheese was only slightly warm and tasted like a microwaved product, nothing special. No bread provided, which is unusual. Only three desserts to choose from, nothing special, creme brûlée, bread pudding and the predictable brownie topped with ice cream-we contemplated a dessert to-go order from Cattlemens. Service was fine, Kevin did a good job and the food issues were not his fault. Recommended by a friend but won’t go again, WAY overpriced for what you get. #justgotocattlemens
Celebrated my wife’s birthday with friends.
Food was amazing, our server was awesome. We were there for a business meeting/dinner and he didn’t rush us but was always close to check and make sure we didn’t need anything. Keep up the good work!
This has become one of our go to restaurants in the OKC area. Food quality is always excellent and the atmosphere inviting.
It was a very cool place and great menu for everyone. Great food
We received amazing service and the food was outstanding!
We were impressed with the service and attention from Kyla. The food is so tasty here. Will definitely return for another date night with my wife!
Outstanding service and brunch was delicious. Our entire party thoroughly enjoyed our time.
The server had no personality. He was slow and inattentive. My steak was not cooked the way I asked and he was not quick to notice or apologetic about the mistake. There not many people in the restaurant so I don’t understand why he did not give us much attention.
It was just ok had quail and it was under cooked. Green beans not the best. Others said it was ok.
I was under the impression this restaurant had a relationship with La Baguette on north May and learned that is not true. All my food was so salty I could not eat it. I will not suggest this establishment to friends going forward.
Food was great! Took a long time to get our food. Overall
It was very good experience!
McClintock’s is one of our favorite places for dinner! The bartenders are amazing and always helpful and the steak never disappoints!!
McClintock’s is a great place to have lunch or dinner. We especially liked the service and the atmosphere. The food was delicious and impeccably presented. This wonderful restaurant is highly recommended.
When in town this is usually a hit spot for a great steak dinner. However this time the service was poor. We are sad to say we will not be back for awhile. We do hope that this is an after COVID growing pain and wish them all the best.
Arrived 10 minutes prior to our reservation time. We had to wait about 5 minutes to be greeted but that was ok because the place is gorgeous and there was plenty to look at. Beautiful woodwork and tasteful trophy game mounts surround the awesome looking bar area. Once seated the wait staff was courteous and attentive. The appetizer, drinks, entrees and dessert were wonderful. We had the crab cake, Long Island ice teas, ribeye, baked potato, Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, chicken fried steak and bread pudding. All great. Good coffee too!
Steaks are excellent and the sides are great. I know most restaurants are shorthanded, so the service was hit and miss. When you have to ask for a water refill, well!!! When I booked the form ask if there was a special occasion and I said Anniversary. No mention was ever made by the wait staff or greeters. We never saw anyone that you consider to be a manager, no one ever ask about our experience and I don't think there was even a thank you.
Really consistent restaurant. My guest had the lunch sirloin & I enjoyed the catfish. Both were cooked well with generous portions. Service a bit less consistent this trip but the lunch hour crowd clearly stretched the team on hand. Definitely plan to return.
