Our first time there and was truly a treat. Service and food were both great.
A step into the days of the old west. Food, service, drinks and atmosphere was great! We will return.
Our waitress was a bit distracted the whole time. Seemed pricey for the amount of food. Ordered a mixed drink and it was way too strong to even drink. Overall the food was good
This place has the potential to be fantastic. The menu and atmosphere were great. Drinks at the bar were wonderful and the staff there was very helpful. Got to our reservation early so we could have drinks at the bar. The bartender kept telling us if we wanted to get our table early, to just let him know. 20 min before our reservation we let him know, but then had to wait for a table after our reservation time by about 10 min. The waiter was always around, but was never truly present. We had to flag him down anytime we wanted another drink or even wanted to order. The food came out hardly warm as if it had been sitting for awhile. The rack of lamb would have been wonderful had it been hot. The bones were not even warm to the touch when it came out. The sirloin was medium well as ordered, however, it wasn't hot either. The mac-n-cheese was great but the mash potato's seemed like instant. I want to try McClintock's again in hopes that we weren't there on just an off night. For $200 tab, we should have left with better positives than the saloon atmosphere and mac-n-cheese.
Expected way more flavor from a filet of this price. I don't mind to pay big for a good steak but this was flavorless. My husband's ribeye had a little better flavor. Disappointed in the taste and that's what draws us back.
I love McClintock’s! The food was amazing and our waiter was the greatest
Food was cold, service was horrible. Took 25 minutes just to get a drink menu, another 15 minutes for a glass of tea. A hour later our food was finally served with the meat cold. Then another 35 minutes for the manager to finally come over. Won't be back.
Birthday for my husband.
Loved food and service was amazing!
We didn't realize they served oysters here. We were super happy with the food
We made reservations last minute and were hoping to have a better experience than the last time we ate here;which was over a year ago.
Once we were seated our waiter seemed agitated and took our drink order. Shortly after we placed our order we promptly received our appetizer. We ordered the shrimp cocktail for $12.00. We were shocked to see that they only give you 3 pieces of shrimp..... for $12. When we asked the waiter Jokingly where the rest were, he was snippy and told us that’s all we get and walked away immediately. We were baffled. Our entree arrived roughly twenty minutes later and was mediocre for the pricing. Our waiter wasn’t friendly, food was just okay but was over priced, and the experience isn’t something I couldn’t get at the local Applebee’s.
The host and our waiter were wonderful! The food was excellent!
If you order the ribeye for 2
Expect at least a 30 minute wait
Service was a little slow for as few people that were in there!!
Love the decor! I knew the Goya. Steak was not the greatest but we will try again later. Very glad to see them open.
We have dinner there couple times a month and have always had good service, good food at a good price.
Great food. Had reservations, so no waiting. Server was outstanding. Tipped 25%.
Waitress - awful
Table next to us- awful.
My husband and I went for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was so much fun with the decor and semi private seating. Our food was amazing and portions were huge! We definitely could have shared. We recommend the Chicken Fried Steak and Stockyard Burger with a baked potato. So good!
Food seemed a little highly priced for the quality.
Our service was great the food was room temperature and flavorless. Really cool decor.
Great time and food and waiter
Everything was great
Enjoyed high quality food in an old town atmosphere.
With covid, getting seated was fast. Food was good, a little pricey. But, we had numerous flies at our table. Waitress said were coming in from the back door as they have trash cans right outside their back door. Old, western décor. Parking right out front.
Food and service were excellent! Steaks were melt in your mouth tender. Excellent service as well! We'll be back!
We had the best time! Zach was an outstanding waiter! The restuarant was clean and so fun! The food was wonderful. You must try the mac n cheese. We will be back. For sure!
Fantastic food and service.
The food just keeps getting better! The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is very courteous and prompt. We love eating here.
Sides and drinks were excellent. Three of our party ordered filets which they said were good. The other two of us ordered a ribeye and a strip. I'm still not sure what we were served. The two cuts that were supposed to be a ribeye and a strip didn't resemble either of those cuts, but were identical. We asked the waiter about it, asking him how he could differentiate between the two. He muttered some nonsense about a strip having fat all the way around. My best guess is that we were both served sirloin. I wouldn't have minded so much if were good, but it wasn't.
I was 99% satisfied with my overall experience. I was very disappointed that the management is anti second amendment with antigun signs on the door. I don't spend my money where I can't protect myself. I only stayed because I was meeting another party. Sadly I won't return unless this changes.
I’ve never paid $60 for a steak before. But I’ve never had such a mouth watering, tender, cooked to perfection, delicious steak before either. So if you’re wondering where to go for a date, anniversary, or just to enjoy amazing food.
This is your place.
You definitely get quality and quantity here.
Great "Old West" feel near Stockyards City. We enjoyed top quality sirloin and filet. The side dishes are excellent.
We LOVED McClintock's! While it was a little more pricey than we normally prefer, it was completely worth it. From the decor to the food, 10+ stars!
Good selection! Steaks good!! Service was good that evening for us!
It was our first time here and we loved it!
The house cocktails and the food were fabulous!
I loved the old saloon feeling with a hint of class.
It made our date night special.
I had the best chicken fried steak and my daughter had the beef tips. Everything was great!
Wonderful experience, Very helpful and courteous bartender. The food was excellent! The drinks were fantastic and very reasonable!
