McClintock Saloon
Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was great. Turkey was a little on the dry side.
Fillet dinners were good. Holiday ham and turkey dinners were inedible, overcharged at $40 each, and fed to the dogs. Complaint to waitress fell on deaf ears.
Poor service with pompous/demeaning attitude from our waiter Josh and no corrective action from the manager Pascal when brought to his attention
Was a bit early for our reservation but was quickly greeted and seated. Our server was prompt and friendly even though they were getting busy. Ordered a Bloody Mary, was afraid I would be disappointed once it was served because it appeared light in color but was extremely pleased, honestly one of the best I’ve had in Oklahoma. We started off with Braisedsteak nachos and were impressed with the amount served. Will definitely order them again. I went with the chicken fried steak which was huge and flavorful, not to much breading. The green beans were fresh with the perfect amount of garlic. The mashed potatoes seemed soured but there was so much food I didn’t complain. My husband ordered the Dirty South Burger. It had a slice of cheese, possibly cheddar, but was missing the pimento cheese. The jalapeño on our appetizer was pickled and the jalapeño on the burger was fresh, not complaining just an FYI. The sweet-potato fries were really good. Overall we were pleased with our meal and will definitely return to try some of their other dishes.
Our experience was great! We had visitors from out of town and they liked it also.
Great place for a business meeting.
Very friendly staff.
McClintock Saloon is a great place off the beaten path! They have amazing food and drinks and the wait staff is outstanding! This is honestly one of our new favorite places to eat!
Great filet steak. Probably the best I've ever had.
My husband's bacon was crispy and good, chicken fried steak good, fries good; but my Saloon Salad was so-so, and worst of all ... especially for a steak place (which the server pointed out) ... my filet was not tender, not well seasoned, and awfully raw for a medium rare (and what's the point in asking for further cooking of a filet that's neither tender nor well seasoned?).
I took my son there for his birthday & it was a great night. The bourbon cocktails to start off were excellent & the big biscuits that came out in the beginning were incredible. I had the big filet & my son had the 14oz strip steak - both were the top 3 steaks we’ve ever had. The sides of mac’n cheese & the grilled asparagus were great complements to the meal. Also loved the creme brulee & chocolate mousse cake! Wonderful atmosphere & great service! Will definitely go back.
The food was well prepared and balanced. The atmosphere was very cool although the place was empty..... It could have been the time of night. I would recommend.
First off, let's start with the good: GREAT bar and bartenders. Excellent selection of whiskey/bourbon and solid cocktails. If you're just popping in for a drink, this is a great spot. Unfortunately, if you want dinner, things go downhill fast. We had slow service from a waiter that desperately lacked personality. Steaks are priced as if they're trying to compete with Mahogany or Ranch, but McClintock's steaks should not be mentioned in the same sentence. My 14oz ribeye was cooked fine, but was tough in spots (definitely not a prime cut) and lacked flavor. I've had better a better steak for half the price at Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse. My daughter ordered the meatloaf and it was 'meh' at best. Next time my wife and I will leave the kids at home and just have a drink at the bar.
Excellent restaurant. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding. We met out-of-state friends for dinner and they were also impressed. Great venue.
Love the atmosphere of this place! The Steak and grilled shrimp was yummy along with the sauce I added on. Ordered the meatballs for an appetizer and they were burnt. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would go again!
Seating felt like a hallway.
Great atmosphere, food, service, you name it! We will definitely be back!
Cory provided an excellent anniversary and dining experience. McClintock's rules the Ranch when it comes to dining.
The ribeye and filets were the best steaks we ever had!
Food is delicious. Best value in Oklahoma City for Filet steaks. Best bar in town.
What a great find! Tasty food; ample portions; memorable surroundings.
Took friends from out of town for a good steak. Fun location in Stockyard City - good ambience with uptown cowboy flair. We’ll be back.
We loved the food. The atmosphere was very nice. Beautiful woodwork. The only complaint was our waiter wasn’t very attentive. We were seated in the saloon area though so I believe he was also the bartender. We just flagged down other waiters as needed to help us. We’ll return for sure. The best French onion soup anywhere.
I had been there a handful of times before and would recommend it but this last time left me uninspired. I had been there before on my birthday and it was treated warmly and acknowledged. I didn't expect a free meal or anything, other than I had chosen to have my birthday dinner there. I made a reservation, told the person who took us to our seats that it was my birthday, no response. I told the waiter after I gave my order that it was my birthday and he said there was extra toppings on my potato,( which are always there) I guess the final topper was when we were asked about dessert. None of my party wanted any, but I inquired about a particular dessert than I love but couldn't remember if they served it. The waiter did not really acknowledge my question, except to me seemed like a partial roll of the eyes. Again, I didn't ask for anything special except that it was my birthday and I chose to be there and now I wish I had chosen somewhere else where at least they would respond with "Happy birthday". Not a big inconvenience in my book for the prices we paid.
Our new favorite spot!
Had a reservation for the dining room but ate in the bar instead, where Anthony took excellent care of us. He serves great cocktails and history of the bar.
The food was wonderful; well prepared and presented. The portions were generous.
A great experience!
The food and service were great! Incredible ornate carved wood bar and beautiful chandeliers.
Yes think our Hostess was Amanda. She was excellent
Great Steak. Tomato crab avocado appetizer excellent
Great restaurant. Food was amazing. Very large portions...especially on the chicken fried steak. The filet was very tender and done perfectly. The biscuits are delicious.
The food was outstanding. Simple, but executed with precision. The service left much to be expected. While friendly, it seemed like the attention to detail from the server wasn't quite there. From letting our table run out of wine to the one behind us literally having to raise their voices to get her attention – it's those things that make a restaurant great or just OK. I will give the place another go because the food was so well made; but the service needs more attention. Also, the old building smells somewhat. While this is forgivable, there's also an odor of wet mat smell or wet trash can smell that permeates. Not enjoyable.
Great place to dine in the stockyards. Great whiskey selection. Josh, our server, made the night. Great service and we spoke of elk hunting, elk preparation, whiskey etc. Steaks were delicious. Make it a point and go there.
We had a great birthday supper for my hubby.
Outstanding as usual!
Food was great! I wish they had more parking though.
Grandchildren back to school dinner
Atmosphere was great like an old west saloon. Food was good. Waiter was in no hurry but other than that is was a great experience. We will be returning.
I took the wife there for our anniversary dinner. They had our reservation and table ready when we arrived. Jennifer, our waitress, was extremely cordial. Our cocktails and steaks were excellent. The wife definitely wants to go back. Happy wife, happy life.
Our Bourbon pork belly was on the cool side and I spoke with the waitress about it. Service was impecable and we the ambiance. I will definitely be back.
Not the worst experience I’ve ever had but could certainly be better for the price one has to pay. The food was just average. My steak was a little dry and my daughter’s vegetables were over salted. Our water was never refilled and although my cocktail was excellent I never got my second drink order and cancelled it after we finished our meal.
We was seated with smiling faces! The server was quick to bring us drinks never having to ask for a refill, was also very helpful with the menu. The food was amazing and had some left to take home. Great for date night or special occasions.
Great place to have dinner before a movie next door.
