mbar begins in the foyer of 400 Fairview at Ground Control. A host will check you in and then a private elevator whisks you up to the 14th floor to begin your mbar experience.

Really cool entry to the space and a beautiful city view from the table on the patio, including the space needle. Good drink selection and nice shareable plates (we chose more tapas style versus meals). We had some snags with service - long wait time for someone to take our order and >15 minutes for a second drink order (we ended up cancelling) - but the server was kind and apologetic. We'd definitely consider coming again if back in Seattle.

Four of us met for Happy Hour on a Tuesday around 4:30 with a reservation. The views were gorgeous, and the cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were excellent. The check-in process was a bit frustrating—slow elevator and only one party allowed up at a time. Despite requesting outdoor seating, we were told no four-tops were available, and a manager repeated what the server had already explained. Service was friendly but stretched—one order never arrived, though it was removed from the bill. Great atmosphere and food, but some service and logistics could use improvement.

We were helped by Christopher and Gyles this night. Everyone from the hosts to the manager was so lovely. Food and drink-amazing as always! 10/10 - no notes, only praises.

Great atmosphere. Incredible views. Good food (we had some small bites). The Orange Gewurztraminer, which was refreshing, but not great. Our server (Sarah, I think?) was good, and was transparent about not knowing the Orange wine, but did us well in our experience. I don't normally go back to expensive restaurants, but I will defnitely be going back to mBar again, soon, and will be bringing friends to share the experience.

Great place if you want a beautiful view of Lake Union and etc. It was really nice up there, we had a great table with couches which was fun to sit on with a group.

We had Aperols and they were amazing. The ribeye (to share) and the ahi tuna appetizer were my favorite. The views are stunning and make for great pics. Staff was great.
