The place was absolutely great. Make sure to get there when there's enough light out for you to enjoy the view.
It was great!!!
Mbar is a great place, we went on Valentines Day and it was a fixed menu, food was good and prices higher for the holiday but we prefer the regular menu offered. Still a great place and you have to accept holiday changes. Always a fun place and the staff is great!!
Overall it’s good, however we ask if the waitress can help us take a photo she told us to find someone, that is a let down. Food is okay the view is great.
like to the place. I love the view it's only they never asked us if we were ready for the order till we ask them we wait long
Really one of the truly spectacular dining locations and experiences in Seattle! The view, extraordinary food and attentive service are uniquely sublime. Our fav in Seattle!
Overall, good food & decent drinks but only problem was the service. Super rude waitress with a lot of unnecessary attitude.
mBar has amazing views, an amazing team that looked after us very well and delicious food.
Went for happy hour food and drinks...totally disappointing.
-the happy hour charcuterie plate was comical. 7 slices of salami, 3 pieces of buckwheat, salted butter scoop. I thought they were joking with the presentation and lack of effort and ingredients.
-server was inattentive
-no parking validation
-incredibly cool views but won't go back
Delicious creative and healthy food. Fabulous ambiance and service. Looking forward to coming back!
As always, the staff of MBar did not disappoint. From the very attractive and attentive staff to the beautifully presented and delicious tasting food, yummmmmm (and I'm not just talking about Matt the bartender). I brought my mom here for her last night in Seattle and she loved it. Thank you, MBar for always being amazing.
Fantastic service and amazing views. the food was unique and delicious.
Amazing!Food is amazing.Nice and quite place.Great View of Space Needle.Perfect for a date;)
Great well seasoned unique dishes. A delight to try something different
Very nice location, we enjoyed everything! Orecchiette are awesome, I recommend them!
Asked for a nice table and was stuck out on a steel patio type table in the middle of a very loud party. This was not what we expected at all. When I asked the hostess to seat us inside she was rude and said all of the tables were reserved. We ended up having dinner at the bar and fortunately the two bartenders working were amazing and made the night enjoyable. Although we sat and watched 5-6 tables sit empty all night that we could have been sat at if the hostess wasn’t being so rude
Amazing view in the patio! The service was wonderful and the menu was a mix of unique and classic. There was something for everyone and the entire group loved the view.
We had a great night at mBar! Loved everything about it.
Reserved a table for the dining room and was seated outside in 30 degree weather, ordered 1 drink and then left because we were freezing.
I with my girlfriend have a good time
The service was absolutely horrible. Are waitress talked to us a whole 3 times while we were there. Once to take our order, another when I had to yell to get her attention to get the check, and last when she brought us our card back. I had to flag down someone else to pay because our waitress was talking with the bar staff most of the time. I would have understood her absence if it was busy but it wasn’t. I would never come here again and the food wasn’t worth the money at all. Our food was cold when it was suppose to be warm and it was over seasoned to the point that I couldn’t taste anything but the seasoning and I couldn’t taiste anything else on the plate.
We went there to try it and the food was really good, the view was nice and I like they keep their oudtdoor space open year round
One of the best views in the city. The service is great. The food was delicious.
Hidden gem in Seattle! Awesome views, great cocktails and food was delicious. Didn’t get to use the outdoor patio but will once the weather is accommodating.
Great view accompanied by yummy drinks! My friends and I went on a chilly night, but they have a covered patio, overhead heating, and a nice selection of quilts and tiny down comforters to keep you warm!
Better view than Canlis. Convenient underground parking. A touch confusing to find but worth it. Excellent wait-staff, delicious food, interesting decor. No pounding, loud music and scraping chairs. But enough ambient noise to feel lively.
Incredible view. Great for a birthday, anniversary, etc...
Cocktails are a touch on the small side is the only negative - but they offer a good wine list.
Go - you will enjoy it.
Beautiful views of downtown, very nice accommodations both inside and out. The food was delicious, and drink service was excellent! Not the largest portions, but this isn't a bad thing. Food was (what I think) appropriately proportioned, as to not feel stuffed, but full after leaving.
Only thing I don’t like about the patio bar is that the menu is a little obscure. I’m a pretty adventurous eater and like almost everything, and the pita dish is the only thing I would order. Which can be tough for some picker eaters.
Overall great food, excellent view and atmosphere. Was disappointed that we weren’t given the option to sit by the window when we showed up with our reservation. Not sure if this is an open table issue or restaurant issue. Regardless, the service began to suffer when we asked to change seats. My wife and I were only allowed 45 min on the window seat. Needless to say we felt less invited and more pressured to eat and go, thus we did so taking our dinner plans elsewhere. The food we did get to sample in our brief stay was exemplary, cauliflower hummus and lamb carpaccio. Amazing views of Lake Union and the Space Needle, variety of seating options, however unless on the windows, views suffer a bit.
One of my favorite places to go in Seattle right now.
I think the halumi was excellent. overall overpriced for tha "amount" of food and the quality of wine. Food was however good and the view excellent. Nice space.
Amazing view, great food, attentive service. Surprised we had never been before. We'll most definitely return
WOW, this was my first visit to mbar and I was thoroughly impressed in these ways:
- We were immediately greeted by friendly staff (on the first floor and again as I exited the elevator).
- Our table was ready, with a seat beside the window (with outstanding views)
- The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful (with great drink and food suggestions)
- Our meals were outstanding (with a great variety of options for all)
Dining at mbar is a wonderful downtwon experience. I highly recommend it to locals and visitors alike.
I have been to mBar before for a late night dinner in the restaurant and it was great. I made a reservation for last weekend on the patio at 5:45pm. We waited for 10 minutes to be let upstairs because we were told that the wait was because the host had to use the bathroom and they were short staffed. It was cold outside and they ran out of blankets. We asked four different people if we could move under a heat lamp, to a fire pit or inside. They said they would check and never came back. I finally had to follow someone who then told me she would check and I stood there until she came back. We were told we could move to a fire pit but then would need to move in an hour since it was reserved. Our meal was not good and took forever. The drinks and view were great...but not worth $250 for four people given we ordered 3 main courses and an appetizer that were all appetizer size. We weren't finished eating before we were told we had to move for the reservation coming in. We had a reservation too but no one seemed concerned about taking our order so we could finish before they needed the table. It was nothing like my previous experience and I don't plan on returning.
This is the second time I’ve been here and each time has been great! All of the food and cocktails I have ordered here have been wonderful, and the value is definitely worth the cost. That being said it is not the cheapest place for drinks in town, but I see the cost of the items as paying in part for the great atmosphere and classic Seattle skyline.
Had 2 friends visiting from out of town and it was a perfect Saturday night dinner/drinks spot. Great views, vibe and food!
Great job, great view. The drinks are pricey for what you get and I also feel that I might not have gotten 2 oz of rye in my manhattan so I wish they jiggered. :/ I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.
Menu items were amazing as well as service.
The trout on dinner menu was the best I've had perfectly grilled!
We had an amazing view to enjoy the creative and flavorful menu. We couldn't have had warmer service- we were celebrating a friend's completion of a chemo round and they presented a round of bubbly to enhance our cheer. From apps to dessert, all was wonderful, as we watched the sun set on the Olympics with the Space Needle in the foreground.
