Best szechuan restaurant in midtown with high quality food
Excellent! We will return. Neighborhood gem.
Excellent chinese restaurant with highly quality of food , beef & tripe , fish filets with szechuan chilies , Dan Dan noodles and they have the best tiramisu for dessert , my wife and me were all impressed , and with excellent service everything is complete to an amazing dinner . Thank you Tony for your recommendations . Mazu you will see us again
The food and staff are just wonderful especially Amy the bartender:waitress. All the dishes have always been excellent except for one- the scallion pancakes. I have tried them all over town and had hoped they would be non-greasy here but I am sorry to say they were too hard and greasy. that’s the one item that doesn’t match up with the rest of the excellent food. also here’s a suggestion: it would be great to have side orders of vegetables so you can order a smaller vegetable plate with a main fish or chicken dish
Best pecking duck in New York, spicy dried pepper chicken and Eggplant roll best meal I ever have .
We went for Restaurant Week. The Menu had 5 options each for Appetizers and Entrees (and 2 for Desserts), for a $21 Sunday lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed my 1/2 portion of chili dumplings, while my companion had crab puffs. For her main course, she had “a lot of”) scallops, while I had rock shrimp with a twist - the steamed broccoli was presented as a side. We both had small portions of mochi to close out the meal.
We really enjoyed eating inside, with open air, and watching the goings on of the Third Avenue outdoor build outs. For the first sunny, mild, not-too-humid, not rainy day I’m a month, it was as much a treat as the congenial staff, who were friendly, but did not hover.
Excellent restaurant very run well
Great food. Great female waitress great to see Tony again.
Great place. You can customize the spice on your plates. Food was awesome. Great hospitality. Will return A++
Best szechuan restaurant in midtown
With excellent food and service
Amy was our server. She was a lovely polite efficient server. The food was superb.
Wonderful experience. Delicious food. And so very glad to see Tony!!!!!
Best experience ever with excellent food, szechuan dumplings and the pecking duck is a must , beautiful ambient
Waitress was overwhelmed. She needed help. She did the best she could given there were many people and not enough servers. Food was good but no restaurant week menu for lunch. Peiking duck was expensive and dry. Other food was good, not fantastic.
Muy buena comida … el ambiente fuera no están bueno es caluroso y muchas personas alrededor las atenciones no son las mejores pero la comida es buenísima y los precios son justos
This is a hidden gem with truly delicious food and great service. The Ma Po Fish is sublime, and they also do a phenomenal job with the classics such as moo sho, kung pao, and dumplings. Don't sleep on Mazu!
This new Chinese restaurant in Murray Hill is excellent. The food is high end Chinese and the prices are above average but not expensive. Tasty menu with great variety. Dining room is clean and beautiful.
The food was outstanding...fresh, spicy, savory, and the service was friendly and attentive. We loved our experience here!
All in our party agreed to how excellent the food was. Well presented and very generous portions.
Yummy and excellent cocktails! One of the best drinks I have had all year!
Excellent new Sichuan reataurant in Murray Hill. They have indoor/outdoor seating.
The food is fantastic, refreshing and tasty. The dumplings are expertly prepared in flavorful special sauce. The wonton soup was hot and tasty. The house peanuts are served complimentary and were a nice starter.
They have a nice specialty drink menu. The rum with ginger was a light and refreshing.
The Shrimp in garlic sauce and fried rice were very well prepared.
We are so lucky this place opened up on 3rd Avenue in Murray Hill. Hands down the best Szechuan cuisine I’ve had so far in NYC. The pork dumplings are amazing. So is the Mo Fish (think that’s what it’s called). Garlic sauce equally amazing. Puts Han Dynasty into the ground. If you haven’t had Mazu yet, you’re missing out!
Excellent food. Excellent service. Great experience.
Great food ... innovative menu - will go again !
Lovely restaurant, appropriate social distancing, attentive service, excellent food. Exactly what we were looking for!
