The food was wonderful with large portion servings. We ordered Seafood Ceviche as the appetizer, with main entrees of Tasting Kabobs, Carne Asada and Wok-Lomo Saltado. Some confusion with the server not fully understand when request a cup of hot water.

The lomo Saltado and ceviche was awesome.. the service was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.

Mayta's staff is friendly, but not very fluent in English. The food was pretty good, although the sausage and potato dish was actually hot dog and french fries. The fried plantains, on the other hand were magnificent. Non-alcoholic cocktails were quite good.

Five friends had a surprisingly fabulous dinner that started at happy hour and extended so we closed the restaurant. The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious. The half-price margaritas made the night even better and we would absolutely go back again to this neighborhood gem.

Food and service was good but overpriced. It's not bad for a single person but a family of 4 expect to pay almost $200.

The steak dishes we ordered were delicious. The steak was tender and very flavorful. The portions were large; we took some home for lunch the next day. Only one other couple was in the restaurant on a Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. So not sure about the noise level. They did have the music cranked up. Our server was efficient and pleasant. She also made my pisco sour! It was tart, the way I like it. Not much in the way of ambience. Rather like a typical roast chicken carry out but with a few more tables. But since the food was so good we are likely to return.
