Thanksgiving food for a fix menu should of been better. Had the roast beef it had ok flavor and the mashed potatoes where cold. For only having. Few things on the menu I expect the two choice to be excellent. Get seating staff, waiter was nowhere to be found when needed and they were busy.

Nice looking restaurant. Cozy and modern. Unfortunately, the food was just ok. Way overpriced. I had the chicken, which was 25 dollars, and it was just a flat, dry piece of meat flavored with salt and pepper. It came with a bit of greens on the plate and some hard , very oily croutons.

This was the first time I dined at Mayrose. We arrived before the dinner hour on Saturday evening. We were seated immediately, and the waitress attended to us right after we were seated. The food was just okay compared to other restaurants I dined at, downtown, in the past.

The food was similar to pub food at higher pricing. The music was louder than a normal restaurant and did not capture the vibe that we were looking for. We wanted to give the Mayrose a try… the previous establishment was a lively higher end restaurant with great quality food and drinks. This was not that. Drinks were not good- almost crush ice in a bourbon cocktail. Food was sub par and the ambiance, was honestly, not desirable. Sadly we won’t be returning.

Great menu and staff! We were in town to watch the last game of the season for the Warriors and had dinner here the night before. Our server, Erron, went out of their way to make our experience fantastic and even talked to the chef to provide my wife Vegan options that were not listed on the menu. Food was fantastic and the drinks were very well done. Will definitely be back next year anytime the Warriors are in town!

My wife and I went to Mayrose for our first wedding anniversary, and our server, Emily, was so attentive and wonderful!! We started with steak tartare and seared scallops, both of which were delicious! We each had a steak for dinner, and it was cooked perfectly, although paled a bit in comparison to the flavor of the tartare and scallops. We ended the night with the pavlova (SO yummy!) and the chocolate ganache, and it was great! Thanks for the great experience!

It was at best, average. The prices are a little on the high side for what it was. The Ravioli Gratin appeared slightly charred on two of our orders, making the cheese though. The salmon was wonderful, which was the saving grace for this evenings experience. Service in my mind was sub-par, the server seemed disinterested and the host was also unhelpful. We had made a reservation via OpenTable months ago indicating a group of five, we had asked for a booth which you would have been automatically held for a larger group. This unfortunately wasn't the case as we were seated in the long table right in the middle of the restaurant. The poor planning by staff, two individuals sitting at a huge booth when two seat tables were available is poor restaurant management. Overall, food and experience could be improved and I look forward to our next visit, hopefully with a better result.

Really a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and overall was a really lovely experience. The staff was so pleasant and non-intrusive, which is always nice when having a business dinner. Our food was out quickly and although there was an error in one of the dishes, it was correctly quickly and the resolution was wonderfully handled. Highly recommend!

We decided to give this new restaurant a try. We loved the location and the ambience and the service was wonderful. However we were disappointed by the food. While the menu was creatively designed, the dishes underwhelming and blase. For the price, we had hoped for better. We might try it once more to see if that was a fluke food day.

We gave the Mayrose a second chance and have to say was really impressed. Had one of the most amazing pork chops I have ever had, and really fantastic meal from the appetizer thru the dessert. This will be a regular spot for our theater nights out.

Unfortunately our experience made me miss Jackrabbit that used to be The Duniways restaurant. We ordered the charcuterie board and were told there was no meat for the board. We settled on making it a cheese board. Our steak came completely cold and over cooked and the carrots were charred to dust.
