We went for a Christmas lunch and it was amazing! Our waitress Hope took such great care of us and gave us the history of the location, the decor and how the food is prepared. The restaurant is beautiful and all the details are perfect! Can’t wait to go back!

Visiting from Austin. Stumbled onto this gem and wow it was amazing. Safe for GF’ers like us. Lindsay was the absolute best. She is a rockstar and I hope we convinced her to move to Austin. We definitely don’t need anymore Californians to move to Austin but we will take just 1 more with her.

Limited menu choices and the portions were relatively small.

Ambiance and decor was more like a higher-end coffee shop. Server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Prices were a bit steep too. Plus, they charged $16 extra to add chicken to our salad...very inflated.

This has been our favorite dining experience since moving to OC in July. I would take anyone here. It's so good in every way.

Beautiful hotel & restaurant but the Topside Roof Deck was off the charts! What a view at sunset! Must do if you visit the OC! Unbelievable experience & ambience! Highly recommend. We ate dinner at Mayor’s Table in the restaurant. The food was very good - 4 out of 5, the service was a 5 out of 5 & the ambience a 5 out of 5. We are definitely returning.

Breakfast with family in Newport Beach - and couldn't have chosen a better spot. The ambience was lovely and the service straight up local. We all enjoyed the breakfast menu, I think a couple of us got the steak and eggs and said it was the best steak and eggs they'd ever had! Highly recommend.

Great food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere.

We chose the restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday because we had heard the seafood was excellent and the ambiance pleasant. The ambiance did not disappoint but the food quality was uneven. We both enjoyed our Duffy Boat salad and my wife enjoyed her salmon. I ordered the halibut which came very dry and salty. In fact, it reminded me of the Friday white fish served in grammar school. I would have preferred the Thursday hamburger. Our server Miriam was very pleasant and attentive though she wasted no time retrieving the bill after I had signed. Since the food is very much over priced, perhaps she was anxious to cash out her tip.

But the real downer was upon exiting and being hit with the parking bill. You cannot self park so you are forced to valet which is fine if the price is paid to the kids providing the service. Unfortunately, the hotel hits you up for $8 or $12 if you forget to validate. Sorry, guys. Nothing left for you. Needless to say, there are far too many good restaurants in Newport, most with free parking, to bother returning to this one.

We had an amazing experience! Our waitress was wonderful, she was very friendly and gave us a free dessert because we were celebrating my college decision. On top of that the food was delicious and the decor and ambiance of the restaurant was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

Great food, service and ambiance. Sat outside and the filet was melt in your mouth. We had a wonderful dinner.

We had a group of five girls celebrating a birthday. We enjoyed the peach salad to start. Our server was so sweet and spent lots of time giving us suggestions as we were eating family style. The lobster came with gnocchi that were large and doughy. The steak was so tasty and perfect for sharing. The potatoes with the steak were hearty and flavorful! The scallops were perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend the peach pie for dessert. We just needed more ice cream with it. Overall we enjoyed a wonderful meal and attentive service! We will definitely be back!

Best meal in Newport Beach, inventive well executed recipes; great service, warm design/decor. Sorry we waited till our last night there to check it out. Back in NYC now.

Delicious food and outstanding service!

Everything was fantastic

Food was great, a little pricey.

It would be easy to assume that a $62 steak would be ample in size, trimmed well and cooked to perfection. Never assume. It was a very quiet time at the restaurant. Staff literally looked bored, especially the cooks that were easily visible in the open glass enclosed kitchen.

Sunday dinner was an overall excellent selection with excellent value- salad, short rib, polenta, dessert for $35. Halibut and peach pie were also delicious. The server knew the menu well and made excellent recommendations on wine.

The salmon was perfect and loved the Duffy salad! The service was excellent- a wonderful experience- great ambiance!
