Mayor's Table Pacific Pub + Kitchen
My husband and I found this gem on a drive through Newport Beach and are so happy we stopped by for Sunday brunch. The restaurant was chic, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable! We will definitely be going back and recommending to friends!
Valentine’s Day brunch
We love the ambiance! However the food wasn’t good. Too expensive for what you get.
The food was actually pretty terrible. I expected with the price tag that the food would be much better than it was. It was a waste of $130 for just 2 people. The lobster and tortellini were such small portions and the quality of food was not deserving more than a 2 star, they just made it look fancy. I was pretty disappointed in the food since it’s such a great location, the staff we fine, and the ambience was nice.
Our food was fantastic. Great atmosphere and the server was attentive and not overbearing. Excellent all around
Excellent food and service. Will definitely come back again.
Our friends live on Lido Island and had a bad experience when they were first opened, they were skeptical about going with us but we were so glad they did because it was a wonderful experience. They said they would definitely frequent more often!!Thank you!
This was our first time at Mayor's Table. The drinks, the food the service was great. Corkage fee was a little higher than I expected. But overall great experience, way better then the rooftop bar!
Thank you!! Service and food beyond our expectations!
Meh ambiance was like The Water Grill but not as nice. Grilled Seafood chowder was more like cheap broth with some fish and vegetable. Strawberry’s shortcake was meh too with a Biscuit ???! Instead of a nice light angel food or something similar. Service was just ok.
Was a tad disappointing.
I wish our waitress would have given us a spoon to stir cream and sugar in our coffee, we used our forks. Our food was amazing the pancakes should have been served with a side of syrup. They were s’mores pancakes too dry to eat solo. *just our opinion. The omelets and potatoes were cooked to perfection.
This was a great atmosphere to enjoy Christmas evening dinner.
I went to create a special environment for a Christmas brunch with my mother but we are vegetarian vegan and there really was not a lot of options on the menu also there was a funny smell I think from the eggs and the meat that was in there which is something I’m sensitive to. Either way it wasn’t waiter that had a really great service and he made up for all of that by being friendly and helpful and trying to make great suggestions. I would definitely return there again but maybe just for coffee.
Spent a lot, but enjoyed everything. Food was delicious, service excellent.
Food was great. Staff were extremely knowledgeable about their menu. Will be going again.
staff was very accommodating
We went for a Christmas lunch and it was amazing! Our waitress Hope took such great care of us and gave us the history of the location, the decor and how the food is prepared. The restaurant is beautiful and all the details are perfect! Can’t wait to go back!
Traditional Thanksgiving dinner! The Best 👌🏼
Very nice meal!
Very nice menu choices and wines Server was quite knowledgeable and helped with our choices and quantity I highly recommend this restaurant
Visiting from Austin. Stumbled onto this gem and wow it was amazing. Safe for GF’ers like us. Lindsay was the absolute best. She is a rockstar and I hope we convinced her to move to Austin. We definitely don’t need anymore Californians to move to Austin but we will take just 1 more with her.
It took us an hour and 45 minutes to be seated. We made a reservation to be
Great server - Hope! Great ambiance! Really good food and we could hear each other!!!
Fabulous lunch, amazing service. The best burger & swordfish sandwich!
Limited menu choices and the portions were relatively small.
Ambiance and decor was more like a higher-end coffee shop. Server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu.
Prices were a bit steep too. Plus, they charged $16 extra to add chicken to our salad...very inflated.
This has been our favorite dining experience since moving to OC in July. I would take anyone here. It's so good in every way.
Everything was great. Would recommend and return!
Beautiful hotel & restaurant but the Topside Roof Deck was off the charts! What a view at sunset! Must do if you visit the OC! Unbelievable experience & ambience! Highly recommend. We ate dinner at Mayor’s Table in the restaurant. The food was very good - 4 out of 5, the service was a 5 out of 5 & the ambience a 5 out of 5. We are definitely returning.
Great restaurant, beautiful hotel. The food was great. Her steak was perfectly cooked and my lobster was delicious.
Good food ambiance was just casual & open with the right level of energy and not too noisy.
We would come again.
Julia was very attentive and provided great service! Loved the ambiance and especially the grilled bread and corn soup!
Breakfast with family in Newport Beach - and couldn't have chosen a better spot. The ambience was lovely and the service straight up local. We all enjoyed the breakfast menu, I think a couple of us got the steak and eggs and said it was the best steak and eggs they'd ever had! Highly recommend.
Friends birthday was excellent! Delish food and experience made for one of the best meals and memories for my best friend Katie’s birthday! Thank you!
Great food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere.
We chose the restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday because we had heard the seafood was excellent and the ambiance pleasant. The ambiance did not disappoint but the food quality was uneven. We both enjoyed our Duffy Boat salad and my wife enjoyed her salmon. I ordered the halibut which came very dry and salty. In fact, it reminded me of the Friday white fish served in grammar school. I would have preferred the Thursday hamburger. Our server Miriam was very pleasant and attentive though she wasted no time retrieving the bill after I had signed. Since the food is very much over priced, perhaps she was anxious to cash out her tip.
But the real downer was upon exiting and being hit with the parking bill. You cannot self park so you are forced to valet which is fine if the price is paid to the kids providing the service. Unfortunately, the hotel hits you up for $8 or $12 if you forget to validate. Sorry, guys. Nothing left for you. Needless to say, there are far too many good restaurants in Newport, most with free parking, to bother returning to this one.
We had an amazing experience! Our waitress was wonderful, she was very friendly and gave us a free dessert because we were celebrating my college decision. On top of that the food was delicious and the decor and ambiance of the restaurant was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!
Great food, service and ambiance. Sat outside and the filet was melt in your mouth. We had a wonderful dinner.
We had a group of five girls celebrating a birthday. We enjoyed the peach salad to start. Our server was so sweet and spent lots of time giving us suggestions as we were eating family style. The lobster came with gnocchi that were large and doughy. The steak was so tasty and perfect for sharing. The potatoes with the steak were hearty and flavorful! The scallops were perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend the peach pie for dessert. We just needed more ice cream with it. Overall we enjoyed a wonderful meal and attentive service! We will definitely be back!
Excellent restaurant would strongly recommend!
Great fish preparation and excellent service.
Today no corkage fee.. a plus.
Would definitely come back.
Best meal in Newport Beach, inventive well executed recipes; great service, warm design/decor. Sorry we waited till our last night there to check it out. Back in NYC now.
