The main dish was fantastic. Caesar salad was weird. Waiter was pleasant, but rarely asked if we needed anything. Overall, very good experience and definitely will come back.
I had the gnocchi and my friend had the red corn polenta. Best meal we’ve had in a long time.
We’ll be back next time we’re in Tucson.
The food was terrible. I had the Caesar salad and could barely identify the parts. No hard boiled egg, very little cheese. There were other parts that i have never seen in such a salad. For desert I had the bread pudding. Most of the bread was tough and unpleasant. We looked forward to our meal at Maynards because the restaurant used to be our favorite. Not any more.

Always a pleasurable experience, service and food is always superb. Go to choice for dates and special occasions, also great for casual happy hour food! Never had a bad experience. David is the most knowledgeable and best server I’ve had, highly recommend!!! :)

Truly excellent. All entrees — scallops, veal, duck confit—were of high quality and nicely presented. Very good service. Half- price bottles of wine on Sunday an added bonus. Not a major issue, but one of our party was handicapped, and there are two steps down into the main dining area.

It our waiter more than 10 minutes to acknowledge us. When the entrees arrived they had to ask who was getting each entree. Our dessert order took a ridiculous amount of time to arrive. We've eaten at Maynard's before and had good experiences. It will probably be a while before we go back.

The BEST brunch experience with the best ambiance!! The staff was friendly, the mimosas were on point, the food was beyond delicious. I will be coming back on my next visit to try dinner!

The atmosphere is great. Our server was competent and friendly. But the food let us down, Salad did not seem fresh and my seafood was in a sauce which buried its flavor.
We will give the brunch a try.

Price fixe menu for Valentine’s Day had a variety of tastes, colors, and textures that was nicely presented. The $85 p/p charge and automatic 20% after tax added to check is excessive for Tucson. Reasonable prices for wine. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable server.

As usual, we love our time at Maynards; food, the people, the ambiance, the staff.
Only critique on the food; the squash in the gnocchi was uncooked and inedible. We sat at the bar and service was slow. Weren't able to say anything to the bar tender until he came to clear our plates. We let the manager know. The pork belly dish was excellent. I wish there was more pork than fat on the serving. Otherwise had a good evening.

Creative, accommodating and attentive service! I couldn’t of asked for a better room to have a gathering of 9. Still dreaming about the roasted peppers and Bronzino. A must if you’re in Tucson. .
Always make it a point to eat here when I’m in town for the Gem Show! Small, intimate, and the staff is very knowledgeable. Very good bistro-style fare. My Grouper was perfectly prepared!

The food and service were excellent. The only issued that marred the experience was seating. We used Open Table, noting that it was our anniversary. When we arrived for our 5:45 reservation, we were seated at a very small table. We asked if we could have one of the larger tables by the window since all but one were all empty at the time. The host explained that the tables were all reserved for the next hour for larger parties. We understood and accepted the small table. When we left TWO hours later, all but three of the larger tables were still empty, Of those that were taken, one had three people and the other two had two people. I wonder if the host even bothered to check the reservations. It was disappointing.

Expected to be wowed by this place as read so many good reviews. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. We arrived for our 9:30am reservation for the brunch. We had viewed the menu on-line where it showed photos of eggs benedict, French toast, pancakes, etc. All looking deliteful. We looked over the menu at our table and none of those things were listed. In fact, it was a pretty boring menu of nothing special. I asked about the other items and instead of seeing if the chef could prepare them, they said, that the menu on-line must have been out of date. We had to pick what was available. I got a "boring" basic breakfast of 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes. The toast was extra. I asked for sour dough toast and got I don't know what. Tasteless and an extra charge? Our waitress never returned the entire time we were there to refill any drinks or check on us. She did bring the bill of course. All in all a disappointing experience.

Very disappointing after reading/hearing so much good about it. Husbands fish was dry, my roasted chicken (leg and thigh) was impossible to cut as the breading was so thick and hard. But the Caesar Salad was wonderful. Our server was very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable about the food and helpful. The noise from the bar was absolutely louder than any other restaurant (in the world) of this caliber that we have eaten in.

We are very pleased with the delicious menu and the chef’s creativity. We thoroughly enjoyed the daily fish special and we are from the land of great fish (Cape Cod)! Each item was a palate pleaser with a creative twist. The attentive service was really appreciated because the waiter’s explanations enabled us to choose things we enjoyed but never experienced before. This is the best food we have had in Tucson. Can’t wait to come back.
