The interior design is lovely. Chic but casual. Warm welcome from staff. The food and flavour was delicious, portions were very large. The ezme is seriously delicious, lovely soft warm bread, calamari that isn't greasy, lamb chops cooked perfectly, salad was fresh with a delicious light dressing. Was great! Drinks are very expensive - almost £5 for sprite/fanta/coke/cranberry juice a soft drink is too much. Belly dancing was fun and engaged the diners. Music was really loud but it's just for atmosphere at that moment. I'd definitely come back (but probably take some tuppaware with me - hahahaha!)

Waiter cleared our table and took our drinks that we’re still full away. Food was cold but tasty. Entertainment and DJ was good played a variety of music. Would go back probably on a Saturday rather than a Friday.

We were told we had the table for two hours. First course was good. Second course, all the meat was dry thus making hard to swallow. We waited over 20 minutes for the staff to clear our plates. Whilst we were waiting to be offered the dessert menu’s the door woman came up to us and rudely told us we had 15 minutes left and we had to give up the the table. When I told her about waiting for our plates to be taken and still waiting for our dessert menu’s, she didn’t care and just tempted the same thing. So we just paid the bill and left. I will never go back to this place again and would never recommend to anyone to go there, especially if you have a special evening planned.

Staff didn't know whether the meat was halal , it was but some dishes were cooked in wine which made the whole dining experience so uncertain. However, the food was amazing! Extremely tender and juicy. If the restaurant makes their food 100% halal I would defo come back again!

My favourite restaurant hands down. This place could be anywhere in the world . I feel like I've been on holiday when I come here. I don't mind the noise - its what I love about it, but my guests complain the music is too loud

Great staff and service, everyone was helpful and friendly. Food was good, but the music was abit too loud for me as me and my partner couldn’t hear each other speak but the choice of music was good just would have been better if played at a lower volume.

Very bad food. Meat was not fresh on the mixed grill. Kofte was like corned beef. Staff were actually on there phones. Not once did they ask why our food was not eaten. Stay away. And so expensive

I mean, not that exciting. Other than the bathroom aesthetics. We were just on time for our booking, the staff who took us to our seats ( girl with big curly orangey/blonde hair) had her personal stuff all over the table and seat which she sat us at. No staff room available ? All the staff kept gathering near our table and having a good old chinwag, which was really annoying. The male waiter was nice and friendly but kept forgetting our orders and getting them wrong. Chicken was very bland. Just a mediocre restaurant in the heart of Cockfosters. 👎🏽

Everything about the food was delicious, it was the Valentine’s Day fixed menu so many options for both the starter and main, only (small) thing would suggest is more options / a chocolate option for the desert. Other than that, lovely staff, had a magician and a violinist, lovely ambience and had a wonderful evening.

attended on valentines day, food was amazing service was a little slow and the entertainment had a couple issues but I guess that was due to it being a busy day. overall is was a nice experience I just think the staff need to be a bit more aware of the tables they're tending too

Not overjoyed with the experience at mayhills, it started off when we first got there, I had called that morning to make my booking earlier and as soon as I got there the table wasn’t available so we had to wait for our original booking which was an hour later. The girl at the front I didn’t quite catch her name was fantastic she really was helpful and apologised and as soon as a table became available she was straight over to us. Food wise it was nice but I think we’ve all agreed that next time we attend it’ll be only be for drinks.
