We are true believers in local sustainability and sourcing. With as much beautiful food our land’s provided us, it is essential that we show respect for our bounty by enjoying it and keeping those who care for our crops in business. At Mayas our focus will be Spanish tapas, with fun regional wines from around the world, craft cocktails, and bottled beers.

Food is overpriced and not that good. A bottle of wine was overpriced! First and last time I will be there.

Tapas are small plates, we asked the server and she recommended 4 for a couple. On seeing the first 2 which were large we tried to cancel anything further. We were told this was not possible so ended up with too much food, wasted, and a bill we did not need 30% of. The food was good but why oversell, that is the behavior at a fast food joint; not an otherwise charming restaurant.

Service was prompt, food priced fairly. Happy hour is a great deal, but definitely leaves us wishing we got the full size since they were all so delicious.

Highly recommended. Our restaurant experience in Haleiwa were less than stellar (average food, poor service, simply 'calling it in' for the tourists, until we came across the little gem called Maya's. The food and cocktail list are both excellent; imaginative and well prepared. The chef is also the owner, and his passion shows. The service level was also far beyond anything else we experienced in the area; attentive and obviously interested in making the customer experience a good one. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

This is our THIRD visit to Maya within 10 days, & each time we have enjoyed creative, outstanding meals. Be sure to order the brussel sprouts appetizer. Theses were so amazing, I thought about having them for dessert as well. Great octopus and ahi salad plate. Excellent selection of beers and mixed drinks. Sangria is made per glass - also not to be missed. Gracious staff and happy, efficient & friendly chef.

Went for happy hour...ordered off the menu...presented with the bill where only few of the items were happy hour qualified...a real bait and switch. Outdoor seating gives a wonderful view of the parking lot. Service was good, however. Not worth the trip.

Outstanding food and service. Selection is eclectic and even what might have been, “ordinary” is an adventure in taste & appearance. Wait staff is enthusiastic about their food & seems to enjoy their jobs.
Fun and energetic evening but make a reservation!

Limited menu with small dishes were well.prepared. We saw mussels with paella which we felt too folling so asked waitress if chef will make only mussels; chef was gracioys to accommodate despite full house. Mussels & clams came out delicious. Price most reasonable.

New Years Eve in Haleiwa, not easy to get a reservation, and we had 2 vegans in our party as well. They saved us a beautiful table outside on the lanai, holiday lights twinkling. Excellent tapas to share and I had the ribs which were great. Potatoes, calimari, grilled wedge salad all excellent. Newer place, highly recommend it.

Clearly one of the best restaurants on the North Shore. Eclectic menu with locally sourced ingredients. Inventive cocktails (the Spanish Rose was terrific) and flavorful dishes (loved the paella special).
