We enjoyed bunch at Maya - it had been pretty awhile since we’d last dined there and it was better than we’d remembered. Really delicious, great service, yummy drinks.
Always great. We love the drinks and food including dessert.
Chicken enchiladas are to die for
Overpriced 'fusion' mex. Ordered Guac spicey it was bland. Ordered the recommended Mahi Mahi, $25 for a small tasteless piece of fish with garlicky carrot slaw. Will not return.
Maya is usually very crowded but this Saturday it wasn’t which meant more attention for us! The service was fantastic though I wish some of the dishes from their old brunch menu were still available. Ceviche anyone??
Brunch was good
Food was generally good as always (fajitas, tacos etc) but clearly understaffed for the crowd as service was intermittent, drinks sat dry for long periods. First time like this so will give it another shot.
Once again Maya made for an excellent Birthday celebration for our 2 friends! It was their first time to Maya and they really loved it! Thanks Maya! Really fun, delicious top-notch evening!
It was amazing! The brunch was unlimited food and drinks! The service was great.
The food was delicious and the services was great. I would have liked the music to be a bit lower though. I would come here again.
It was very lively, especially in the bar area. Good happy hour deals in the bar, dinner was pricey and a bit fancified. You won’t find much traditional Mexican fare as you’re used to. But do try the black bean “salsa”, and the habanero sauce was full strength! We had the pitcher of Sangria and it was good although a bit tart. Overall it was a nice atmosphere and a good meal experience on the city.
The brunch value is exceptional. I do not think you can beat all-you-care-to-eat and drink for 2 hours in Manhattan for $49. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed and we kept getting food delivered to our table that we didn't order. Maybe because we were seated right outside the kitchen they just dropped stuff on our table. The atmosphere was a bit hectic being that we were right by the kitchen/bathroom. I love coming here and was so excited to get here this year for my birthday. We ordered just about everything on the menu. Absolutely no complaints about the food. The Pan Dulce is a great way to end your meal. Well, that and a margarita!
Good food and good service!
Excellent food and service. Very loud on Friday nights due to the crowd at the popular bar. Fun. A table in the back helps a lot if you’d like to hear your dinner mates.
Food is delicious! Service great. Ambiance is a bit dated but loved Maya overall
There are good things on the menu and there are bad things on the menu. The nachos were solid! The quesadillas not so much...
Also, the syrup flavored margaritas were terrible!
This was a such a good birthday brunch. We went to brunch for a friends birthday and had such a good time. The food is great, and the drinks are so good. Bottomless drinks are a plus, and the waiter Keeps it flowing. Such a great time.
My friends and I had such wonderful brunch experience at Maya this past Sunday. The mimosas were tasty, especially you could actually taste the champagne. We particularly loved the guava mimosa. We also loved the unlimited tapas style brunch. It was the first time we had ever experienced a brunch like that and I was great. we got to try and little bit of everything and then order seconds on our favorite dishes.
This place is great. I have been to their sister restaurant Zengo before which is more pan-asian and Maya with its Mexican food does not disappoint. Came here for my birthday brunch, enjoyed their unlimited food and booze brunch. Everything was great; our waitress was friendly and attentive as was the rest of the wait staff. Drinks were flowing and the food kept coming. Delicious! Would definitely come here again, we all had a great time.
Great bottomless brunch lots of options and the small plates make it easy to try a lot of the menu.
Very loud and the service was incredibly slow. And the food wasn’t worth it
It was fun
The food was incredibly disapointing
I have been to Maya many times and like it very much except for the noise. But Tuesday night there was a large family of mice running under the tables. I had out of town business guests that chose to ignore it but I was horrified.
Beautiful interior and quiet. Excellent service and delicious Mexican options with fresh twists. Our daughter who is vegan was pleased too! We’ll be back!
The music was way too loud in a way that didn’t allow for any conversation and the service too slow to actually drink enough to be ok not having conversations. The bus boy purposefully dropped our silverware on the table (which had no table cloth) every time he picked up our plates. Ok but i wouldnt go back.
Carlos was awesome!!
Yummy food as always and great fun atmosphere
Maya is one of our favorite local places for delicious Mexican-themed food and well-crafted cocktails. Depending on the other diners, it can get noisy. Unlike many places, the team at Maya puts more care into the food they offer as opposed to giving you massive portions. The tuna tartare with guacamole, for instance, is an inventive re-think of a standby. I'm also very partial to their soup and my dining companion raved about the pork tacos. Well worth a visit!
Went to brunch with a party of 16, one infant and two kids-had an amazing experience. The service was exceptional. My fiancé was surprised for his birthday. Couldn't have asked for a better venue! Highly recommended on all levels
I absolutely LOOOVE this restaurant. I went there twice for celebratory brunches with my cousin and ended having the all you can eat brunch. It literally was ALL YOU CAN EAT. I initially thought my first experience was simply because we had an amazing server, but the second visit affirmed that the place really is just magical. There never was a moment when my drink was not refreshed - before the last sip, they would already offer me the next! Will definitely go back again soon! The lamb taco is worth it's weight in gold.
We try to go to Maya's brunch whenever we're in town. Great food and ambience!
They accommodated our last minute request to change the reservation time. Food was very good. Bacon guacamole had a good kick to it. Although they don’t have a kids menu they accommodated my little one with a quesadilla. Overall the food and drink was excellent.
We've been coming to Maya every year on Easter for four years now and it never disappoints! The quality and variety of food is incredible, they don't shy on the bottomless drinks and the vibe is fantastic - so fun and positive! Also, the wait staff is always very on top of things, accommodating and friendly.
Very agreeable servers and the food is yummy.
Food was good. Service was a bit spotty. Our waitress was really aggressive on the upsell. You know when you can tell someone is just pushing the priciest items on the menu? My son ordered and she literally told him “no” he should get the special of the day - chimichangas. Ironically the specials were priced 4-5 dollars above some of the pricier items let alone the tacos he was going to have. To top it all off the printed tip range that is usually on receipts of 15-20 % at most restaurants and calculates the amount for each level, at this restaurant the range is 20-22-25%. Really? This guest didn’t see the 25% service. Pushy once again.
Eduardo was the best server!
Always have a great time at Maya! Food and drinks are always great and the service is phenomenal.
Maya is my new favorite brunch place. Every single food item we ordered was delicious, and our server was extremely attentive and pleasant! It was busy but my friends and I were still able to converse without shouting. We had a great time, and will definitely return!
Great place. Great value. Stayed the two hours and had a great time. Food just kept coming as well as the drinks. Great time. We will definitely be back.
