Maya - New York Ratings and Reviews
My friend and I were very late for our reservation but were still accommodated with no trouble at all. We came in for the brunch on Sunday and we were not disappointed in the least. The food was fantastic and delicious. The small portions are perfect for sharing, and tasting the full menu at your leisure. We were able to have several drinks in our allotted time and were not pressured to leave or order any less. The server was attentive despite being very busy with many tables.
The only complaint is the noise level. It was extremely loud and my guest and I had to yell to hear each other at all. Expect to leave a little hoarse.
Hostess was awesome! Once seated we had complimentary shots because of the wait which was nice..(we were waiting for the people seated to get up.. they were drunk and didn't want to leave).
Our server was very nice and even brought out specific side dishes for our friend who's dairy free! Food was mediocre .. guacamole was great, some of the empanadas were too dry and and their pan dulce is not French toast ! Music was loud but we enjoyed it..over all everything was great. I would go there for drinks .. not so sure about food though.
Hostess was fabulous when we had a last minute extra guest. Food was amazing as always, and the staff was great about bringing enough for the table, rather than just a tapas for two. The only negative is that it gets SUPER loud in there— sound paneling would make it an even better experience.
Everyone is great and after celebrating my bday there in December , my best friend loved the experience so much that she wanted to celebrate her graduation achievement at Maya. The whole staff and management deserve beyond 5 stars. I wish there were more places like Maya.
It was a fun morning especially to one of my guests who have never experienced a brunch. For his first time it was fun and memorable so Maya Thank You for making it special for him since we arrived till we left... as the first one in the reservation we were offered a shot lol for being on time and honestly for us it was great and fun...
A little noisy for brunch spot, but the bottomless brunch is pretty bang for the buck. Unlimited food and drink for about $60. Portions are small but allow for variety of tasting options. And everything on the menu is fair game except guacamole. We didn’t order it, but it’s probably good? If you have drinkers in your party this brunch will do just fine. The only Miss was the champagne. It was pretty bad.
What a fabulous place! Could not recommend any more highly! Service was warm welcoming prompt and professional. Food was delicious varied and plentiful. Amazing variety. ..accommodates all diets. Drinks were free flowing and so yummy. Just go. .a wonderful spot!
This was my third time at Maya and once again, it did not disappoint. Our server this time, Cynthia, was great, very attentive and always there to refill our drinks and get our next food request. The drinks and food were wonderful as well. All the dishes are full of flavor. You can't go wrong here with their 2-hour bottomless brunch. Highly recommend this place!
Food was pretty good. Ordered margaritas and the staff came back saying they had run out of house tequila. How does a mexican restaurant run out of house tequila? Plus, they didn't offer the next best option at the house liquor price, which would have been the correct move. Other than that, it was a decent experience.
A group of family/ friends and I went to Maya for brunch. We enjoyed the music, food and unlimited drinks greatly. I really like the idea of the small plates and that fact that everyone gets to try all the food that is ordered. We had a blast and I cannot wait until the next visit!
