Super loud. Super slow. Our table was in view of the bar. We could see our waitress (& all the others) putting in orders but it took an eternity for the bartenders to make the drinks. Food was fine but no better thank any other Mexican around town & not worth the cab fare. Noise level is intense! We won’t be back.
Too noisy. Cannot hear yourself or the people you are dining with.
Great cocktails and food. The bartender was attentive and fun. The blossom tortilla was amazing! We plan on returning.
Our waitress was horrible. She wasn’t pleasant and she was a little freaky. She would walk over to us and just stand at our table not saying anything. It was very strange and made us feel uncomfortable. We also thought that our food did not have the same quality as it has in the past when we come. we were very disappointed with the service and the food.
I have been to Maya MANY times before, I actually will still continue to go. The food is wonderful, the drinks are amazing, the atmosphere is crowded in the best way and I love it. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. However this time, I was VERY disappointed by the delivery of food. We kept getting food that we did not order, it took forever to get food that we had ordered. I wasn’t a very pleasant experience as someone who loves Maya. I will certainly go back, but it was sad to see this happen and the staff bringing the food did not care at all that they were bringing food that didn’t belong to us (and most likely taking away from a table that had ordered that food).
Service was very slow. 45 mins at table and one drink and no food. It was difficult to get attention of waiter for refill of drinks. Food, as usual was great. The timing was just bad. Have done here before at an earlier hour and the service was impeccable. Will come back, just before noon.
Great brunch spot. Unlimited shared plates and drinks for 2hrs. Food was delicious and service was impeccable. Great for groups
Enjoyed the experience very much. Food and service were both excellent.
The food was really great- the service was a bit off although we could easily see it was very busy. We felt a little rushed to order before our whole party was there, and then no one came back for us to put in our food order once they arrived for quite a while. Other than that it was great.
The place was a little too loud for my liking but the food was very good. We shared some guacamole for an appetizer and it was made just right- we asked for medium spicy and that’s just what it was. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and was also able to taste the mole chicken- both dishes were very good. Drinks and desserts also hit the spot. We went to let off some steam after spending a day at the hospital and Maya was just what the doctor ordered- a very good experience that we would definitely do again
Great experience, the food was delicious.
The brunch concept was unique and first time I ever heard of being able to order unlimited small plates on top of the unlimited mimosas. The food was amazing especially the chicken enchiladas and the chicken tacos. I would def go here again.
We went for their unlimited brunch and really enjoyed it! The guava mimosa and the traditional margaritas are delicious. These are not watered down drinks. The guacamole was an extra $15, but well worth it! The empanadas, corn and carnitas were are favorites. Our server, Marina, was excellent!
We have had several wonderful dinners at Maya. However, this past weekend we tried out their bottomless brunch as a family of 6 (all adults). One of my sons has a severe dairy allergy. Our waiter was amazing and took all the stress out of ordering food my son could eat - all the other servers that brought food to the table were also made aware by our waiter. There was an enormous amount of food, it was fun, stress free for us allergy -wise and delicious! We will definitely do it again. The only slight negative for us is that was very loud.
Great ambiance non stop food and drinks for brunch . Service was great
Perfect menu for food and drinks. Noise level measures at 72 decibels. Conversations are similar to shouting in ears in a night club.
We went for the bottomless brunch and it was amazing. The food was great. The service was top notch. Would be back and recommend it to others.
Food was good. Our waitress was great. Would have hoped not to be so cramped especially when we r 8
The food was overpriced but good. Took my girlfriend their for her 40th birthday and spent $160 on dinner for two, yet the restaurant didn't even offer a complimentary desert.
Love Maya one of my favorite brunch spots.
Best brunch in town
We had business meal with one of my co-workers from Japan. Fantastic food and vibe, however service was not at the high point. They had been very busy on Wednesday night and couldn’t pay attention to all customers. But I still recommend the place, it’s worth to try
We had an amazing time! The staff was so courteous and so accommodating for our late guests. My friends family only spoke Spanish and the waiter was translating the menu and was amazing! Everyone felt comfortable and happy!
Good food but you can’t hear yourself think let alone talk
They were over booked even though we'd made a reservation a week in advance so we started our unlimited food and drinks late. We only ended up with about 45 minutes of service at our table as brunch ends at 4 on the DOT. They tried to be accommodating by giving us drinks as we waited. That was a noteworthy attempt to keep us happy. The drinks didn't flow while we waited but I appreciated the attempt to rectify the situation.
Reservations were 2 hours late
Maya is amazing for large parties! We were 8 guests (including my 1 year old) and our server was extremely patient and attentive. There were a other few babies in house with ours included which was nice to know they were comfortable with strollers. The restaurant is gorgeous, the decor was cozy and stylish. Our server recommended so many great dishes and drinks. We enjoyed everything! I will definitely be back for date night! Thank you so much to this amazing staff and company.
Service, food, and drinks are always phenomenal. Can't recommend highly enough.
The service was outstanding. The food and drinks were plentiful. 10/10 would come again
This was our second year in a row visiting Maya on NYE. It was the same great food and service, just quieter. The staff was very apologetic that it was not more happening. We were happy with the level of excitement, it was just right.
Maya is a great place for good food, drinks and service. The Saturday Sunday brunch is a great value but can be extremely loud.
Delicious food and quick service. Very dark lighting. Will go again for a special occasion due to the high prices
I had a positive experience. I like the variety and style of the small plates. I went as a first date and we were able to hear each other and have a good time together. The waitress did not bring my last drink before the 2 hour unlimited brunch ended, though.
Nice menu especially for people who are gluten free (we had some in our party), but no “kids menu” and the prices charged for kid-friendly food (cheese quesadilla or modified menu tacos) was quite high. But the service was good and the drinks and food were both tasty, just not a lot of it for the price.
Food was terrible. The lamb tacos were the only good plates. The drinks were good and volume very loud.
Not a morsel left on any of the nine plates !
The food wasn’t hot. And the seafood wasn’t totally cooked through.
Great brunch and very friendly sever!! Will be back for sure
We were three on a busy Friday night during the holidays, so the restaurant was quite loud and we sat in front of the open door which was rather drafty, but the food and service was top notch!
