Not what it used to be
Bottomless brunch well worth it. Food was very good and the drinks included in the brunch also good. Service excellent. Will be back.
We have dined here since they opened. This used to be our favorite restaurant but we felt the quality kept declining and stopped going. It's been awhile but we were happy that the quality of food and margaritas are back. We enjoyed every bite. However, the service was really bad. The waiter only did minimum service with no friendly attitude even though the restaurant was almost empty. This is another reason we stopped going. Every time we come here, the service is getting worse and worse. We will be back one day but it can be the last if they don't improve the service.
Delicious food, ok service, very loud.
Overpriced and poor quality. Stay away.
Had to send the margherita’s back. Food took forever to arrive. AC was broken. St least the Guacamole with tuna tartare was GREAT!
Tiny potions don't go here if hungry
Always a great brunch at Maya! They have limited their food items for the brunch which was a womper. But all in all still great value for food and drinks.
Ask for Wilson. He was the most attentive and friendliest waiter I have ever had!
Good food. Service was fast and efficient and friendly. The only gripe for me is the overall sound in the restaurant is loud. Wold be great if they did some sound control.
We like everything about Maya except for the noise level :(
Delicious guacamole and tacos and queso fundido.
Everyone enjoyed their meals!
My husband and I were on diets so did not really intend to do an "unlimited" brunch deal, but other options fell through and we we ended up at Maya while in the city to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. Maya had plenty of options that were not disastrous to our dieting, however we did have to cheat a bit in our attempt to try everything! Lovely space and helpful staff plus a an extensive variety of delicious food equaled a great way to end the weekend for us!
Great would definitely go back
The food and drinks for brunch were not very good. I would not go back.
The food is phenomenal, and the service is OUTSTANDING!! The staff is very pleasant and welcoming and sooo attentive. My guests even commented on how friendly, thoughtful and helpful the staff are. Big shout out to ALL the servers!
Great food, great service , bit loud
BRUNCH MENU WAS TERRIBLE, FOOD WAS COLD AND MASS PRODCUED. ALSO, RECEIVED OPEN TABLE EMAIL THAT I WAS NEVER CHECKED IN...ANOTHER NUSSANCE
always a good time at Maya! Unlimited boozy brunch and food is a great value because both drinks and food are excellent. Will definitely come back!
Maya has always had good Mexican food and it still does. There is a nice selection, however, less than there was in the past.. That should be improved.
It plain and simply is way too loud. That can be improved upon without changing the ambiance!!
We enjoyed bunch at Maya - it had been pretty awhile since we’d last dined there and it was better than we’d remembered. Really delicious, great service, yummy drinks.
Always great. We love the drinks and food including dessert.
Perfect place for brunch and happy hour! Thank you, Javier Toledo, for being such a gracious manager.
Chicken enchiladas are to die for
Overpriced 'fusion' mex. Ordered Guac spicey it was bland. Ordered the recommended Mahi Mahi, $25 for a small tasteless piece of fish with garlicky carrot slaw. Will not return.
Maya is usually very crowded but this Saturday it wasn’t which meant more attention for us! The service was fantastic though I wish some of the dishes from their old brunch menu were still available. Ceviche anyone??
Brunch was good
Food was generally good as always (fajitas, tacos etc) but clearly understaffed for the crowd as service was intermittent, drinks sat dry for long periods. First time like this so will give it another shot.
Once again Maya made for an excellent Birthday celebration for our 2 friends! It was their first time to Maya and they really loved it! Thanks Maya! Really fun, delicious top-notch evening!
It was amazing! The brunch was unlimited food and drinks! The service was great.
The food was delicious and the services was great. I would have liked the music to be a bit lower though. I would come here again.
It was very lively, especially in the bar area. Good happy hour deals in the bar, dinner was pricey and a bit fancified. You won’t find much traditional Mexican fare as you’re used to. But do try the black bean “salsa”, and the habanero sauce was full strength! We had the pitcher of Sangria and it was good although a bit tart. Overall it was a nice atmosphere and a good meal experience on the city.
The brunch value is exceptional. I do not think you can beat all-you-care-to-eat and drink for 2 hours in Manhattan for $49. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed and we kept getting food delivered to our table that we didn't order. Maybe because we were seated right outside the kitchen they just dropped stuff on our table. The atmosphere was a bit hectic being that we were right by the kitchen/bathroom. I love coming here and was so excited to get here this year for my birthday. We ordered just about everything on the menu. Absolutely no complaints about the food. The Pan Dulce is a great way to end your meal. Well, that and a margarita!
Good food and good service!
Excellent food and service. Very loud on Friday nights due to the crowd at the popular bar. Fun. A table in the back helps a lot if you’d like to hear your dinner mates.
Food is delicious! Service great. Ambiance is a bit dated but loved Maya overall
There are good things on the menu and there are bad things on the menu. The nachos were solid! The quesadillas not so much...
Also, the syrup flavored margaritas were terrible!
This was a such a good birthday brunch. We went to brunch for a friends birthday and had such a good time. The food is great, and the drinks are so good. Bottomless drinks are a plus, and the waiter Keeps it flowing. Such a great time.
My friends and I had such wonderful brunch experience at Maya this past Sunday. The mimosas were tasty, especially you could actually taste the champagne. We particularly loved the guava mimosa. We also loved the unlimited tapas style brunch. It was the first time we had ever experienced a brunch like that and I was great. we got to try and little bit of everything and then order seconds on our favorite dishes.
This place is great. I have been to their sister restaurant Zengo before which is more pan-asian and Maya with its Mexican food does not disappoint. Came here for my birthday brunch, enjoyed their unlimited food and booze brunch. Everything was great; our waitress was friendly and attentive as was the rest of the wait staff. Drinks were flowing and the food kept coming. Delicious! Would definitely come here again, we all had a great time.
Great bottomless brunch lots of options and the small plates make it easy to try a lot of the menu.
