Good spot for a quick bite and a delicious margarita. Space was great but food was average. However, i'd go again for the guac and the margs!
the service was awful. Our waiter hardly came to the table to see if we were in need of more drinks, and although we mentioned we had a show to get to, he was nowhere to be found for us to cash out in a timely manner
We had a really fun time. Food and service were both very good.
Good food, very noisy . Authentic ambience . Go to brunch. It's fun and if you like a lot of food at once.
You would like that
Not good for a normal conversation of any length
We ordered the tuna guacamole... wow, it was delicious and served with freshly made tortilla chips. On to our mains of two different enchiladas and the seafood relleno. Everything was fantastic, including the rice and beans and the crispy plantains. Can't wait to come back!!
Second time visiting and they are a must
Go to spot. Hands down great value and ambience. Very loud but all in good fashion
Had a great time here on a Sunday Brunch. Wonderful Mexican food just kept coming along with margaritas and mimosas. We had a great time and food was yummy! Best Mexican brunch in NYC. Enjoy. Don M. Tampa, Fl
The food and drinks were great but the server took forever to get to us and the couple sat next to our table came after us got their food before we even ordered!
The food is amazing. The service is outstanding. All the staff is attentive and so warm. Corrina and Paola are the best.
Really fun bottomless brunch place. The food is good and you get unlimited tapas with the brunch special. Because this is a bottomless brunch, the margaritas are made in large batches so they arent the best ive ever had but again its a bottomless food and drink menu. What more can you ask for!
For my birthday I picked Maya to celebrate. It was, as always, AMAZING. Vincente was on top of things and made excellent suggestions. I really enjoy this place and highly recommend this to anyone. Especially for a boozy brunch.
The food was amazing. Great service and good price.
I went for brunch, an all you can eat/drink menu for $49. Good for 20-30 somethings looking to drink away for a couple of hours. For those with more discerning tastes, the drink choices were cocktails (which I don't drink but others at my table enjoyed) and flavored sparkling wine drinks (variations on mimosas). I tried a couple, none were particularly good. Even for a price, I could not get a glass of wine.
Food was generally quite good. Service was spotty because they were generally understaffed for how full the restaurant was on a Sunday afternoon. The "ambiance" was crazy noisy. Better suited to younger (than my) ears.
Great brunch style - getting tastes of small plates and not the hassle of a buffet
Great ambience! A wonderful gem of a place for brunch. Mimosas, food and waitstaff were great.
Definitely will be returning for bottomless brunch!
Awesome food, got in with a reservation for 6 on the same night. Authentic Mexican.
We were there early in the evening with teens. The food was excellent, service excellent too! It got noisier as the space filled up. It an attractive place and was quite full. I'd recommend reservations!
That Guacamole though!! Yum!
The food and the drinks are great. I recommend the chilaquiles divorciados and pan dulce for brunch.
Awesome window seats and delish food! Perfect portions for sharing
3 stars. 5 for the consistently excellent food. 1 for the noise level - people out yelling the music ... and each other!
Good service. Maya Margherita is a must have! Bites are small and tasty.
Food and margaritas were great, but it was over the top loud.
I always have a great time at Maya. It is definitely on the Brunch “Old Faithful” list.
Had Sunday brunch with a bunch of friends and it was a lot of fun. We had that endless brunch and really enjoyed it! The drinks were great too. And our waiter was wonderful . Would highly recommend for celebration.
Maya never disappoints. Excellent service, great food and amazing drinks .... best brunch in NYC
Food was just okay but service was not good. We were disappointed.
always fantastic! never disappoints! see you soon!
Maya is great, very loud though. Luckily we were seated in the back so not too noisy. Spicy margarita was delicious as were the Special Tacos. There is no Kids menu but they will modify anything on the regular menu to make it kid-friendly (ie. less spicy etc).
Food was absolutely great and the place is so clean and lively. Also waiters and waitress are extremely respectful and helpful.
Maya is one of my favorite places to go and I can't stop going there.
The service here from hostess to waitress to busboys was attentive and so friendly.
I had a great dinner at Maya. The service was great and the food was delicious!
Food and service were first-rate. The food is unique.
I always come to Maya for the brunch. Unlimited food and drinks for 2 hours is rare to find in NYC. The music is always on point and the waiters are very attentive. The guava mimosa is my go to every time I visit. One complaint is I wish the mimosas were colder. We asked for a cup of ice which they gave us and we just put some in the glass. They are so good and dont last long enough for the ice to melt anyways.
We booked the Bottomless Brunch which gives you unlimited small plates and free-flowing brunch cocktails. We were told bottomless brunch must be enjoyed by the whole table however two of the guests did not want to drink and this did not seem to be a problem. Guacamole is not included in the bottomless menu, which annoyed us as it is surely a Mexican staple! The price of $36.00 with free-flowing alcohol or $15.00 without was very reasonable but of course there are the usual taxes, tips etc.
Been here for brunch and happy hour - love the drinks, food, music, and overall vibe!
The bottomless brunch is fantastic. The wait staff is all very friendly and they keep the food and beverages flowing. I have a dairy allergy and they are always incredibly accommodating. I could not recommend more!
Food is really good ! Provided hot .! Good selection to pick and service is good . A bit noisey and crowded but once the food arrive you forget about everything else
The food was excellent. Cocktails were alright if a little too sweet. Service was very spotty, but with two hours we still managed to roll out of there very full and a little tipsy! It's extremely loud though. Don't expect to have any quiet conversation.
Great service. Great food. Great drinks. Trendy but not intimidating. Highly recommend.
