Best Carne Asada I have ever had! And dont forget to order a margarita. Great food, atmosphere and kid friendly. Highly recommend it.
Thank you for your amazing review and recommendation! We look forward to your visit!
Dinner at Maya last week was outstanding! Both the food and service were exceptional. You must try the beet sopes, such a unique dish with tons of flavor. It seemed every server working checked on us at some point and the manager stopped by to see how our experience was. Overall we felt welcomed and taken care of, and we look forward to going back next time we are in town!
It’s been a while since we’ve been to Maya and we’ll definitely be back. Service was prompt and food was excellent. Garret was a wonderful server who was attentive and made great suggestions.
Food arrived looking great and tased even better.
The selection of tequila and Mescal were off the charts. Was nice to try something new.
Very well done.
We thank you for your great review, we are thrilled that you enjoyed your experience in Maya! We will share your wonderful feedback with Garrett and we look forward to your next visit with us! Kevin Delonay Director of Food & Beverage
We had a great dinner and evening there. The staff was attentive and checked on us regularily. Food was very good, and priced great. Will definitely return.
Thank you for your review! We are so glad you enjoyed your meal and service. We look forward to your next visit, Tom!
Excellent table side guacamole!
Thank you for the review! Glad you enjoyed the Guacamole. We look forward to serving you again in the future!
Service started out as a disaster. We were seated and after 10 min no one had come over. I got up and grabbed the manager who immediately sent a waiter over. He was very attentive the rest of the evening. I don't think that this is something you should have to do when you are out for the evening.
Great food! We always eat here when at the Westin. Great bar! Fun atmosphere.
Thank you for the great review! We are glad that you come see us and have fun at Maya while you stay! We hope to serve you again soon- The Maya Team
Had a great meal and drinks. The service was good and the view of Beaver Creek is incredible.
Birthday dinner. Amazing service and food. Would highly recommend!
while the food was good our service was not very good.
Lucky to be seated when you arrive. You have to find someone / anyone. Watched several groups wait for someone to show up at hostess station.
Lucky to see your waiter after getting water. Eventually you get food. Not the quality we were hoping for.
Happy hour at the restaurant is a joke. You place an order and spend the next 45 minutes trying to find out when your going to see a drink. Watched many patrons go through this ordeal also.
Breakfast at the hotel is exactly the same. You wait to be seated, eventually you walk back to the kitchen door and ask if anyone is working. Someone pops out, takes you to a table and then it’s a wait for service.
Bottom line nice hotel. But the restaurant is a huge disappointment.
Next stay all dining will be out
This resort and restaurant have no customer service! I would highly recommend you looking at a different restaurant!
Food was excellent but service was not so good. We have eaten here a number of times because the food is amazing but the service has been consistently disappointing. And not because it was busy. Our most recent visit was a slow night with half the tables empty but service was still lacking. It took a long time for someone to take our drink order. It took a long time for someone else to come take our dinner order. We had already been there about 20 minutes at that point and they asked if we wanted chips and salsa. We said yes but ended up having to eventually flagging someone else down to finally get them just a few minutes before our entrees came. The entire staff seemed uninterested and detached from the service with no enthusiasm. Since it was obvious they didn’t want to be there, you didn’t really want to be there any longer than you needed to. Their lack of attention and energy really detracted from the meal and dining experience.
Food was pretty good. Guacamole very stingy portion for $16. Food delivery service very poor, almost 2 1/2 hours total. Manager handled it correctly tho, he apologized profusely, and even comp’d desert for all. In spite of this poor experience, we will give them another shot.
A special event that they were hosting resulted in unusual crowds and a very high noise factor. service was inattentive and food while tasting good was over priced.
The live band was awesome. We had so much fun and the food was good.
Great tasting food and margaritas-everything was on the expensive side which isn’t surprising since it’s in a Westin resort hotel. Pretty noisy but it was a busy night. Overall it was trendy and fun.
Excellent service. Delicious food. Prepared quickly and professionally. Highly recommended!!
Short staffed, impersonal service. Food was good and fast. Not a great experience.
Nice space, despite being in a hotel. Service is friendly but not highly professional. Food is above average and reasonably priced. Depending on what you order.
It was a very busy night, but it took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table and another 30+ once we had ordered. The food/cocktails were good, but service time was frustrating.
The food was very good, as always!
We love Maya and go every time we are in Avon. The food was excellent, especially the Colorado striped bass, which was delicious! The chicken tortilla soup was cold, but our outstanding waiter, Chris, took care of that. The guacamole was not outstanding as I remembered from previous visits, but it was very good. It tasted as though they may have changed the recipe since our last visit. All-in-all, I highly recommend Maya!
Mother's day brunch at Maya was outstanding! The food was excellent and the menu was extensive. Service was also fantastic, many people took plates off our table and kept our beverages full. The live guitar player was a beautiful touch. This was our first time having brunch at Maya, as we usually visit for dinner, and we will definitely be back!
Mother's day brunch at Maya this year was one of the best we've ever had!!
Overpriced, badly presented, soulless. Close to inedible. Try a local Mexican restaurant in a strip mall for a better experience.
We had a good experience at Maya’s on Cinco de Mayo. Skinny margarita was fabulous! Fish tacos and sides were all good. Service was outstanding.
Great Food, could be priced a little lower!
Easter Brunch. Not great. Not a lot to choose from. The service continues to be slow every time we go to Maya. Mimosas were mostly juice. Almost all juice. Table behind us was talking about the same thing. No salad bar at all. For the price there really should have been more and the quality of food wasn’t good. Adding tip to the already high priced buffet not good either and maybe why the servers don’t care much about service and acting like they like their job. We love the ambiance there but the service continues to lack. Food overpriced. Not a good deal today. Won’t be back for a brunch. Locals.
The food is very mediocre and the prices outrageous. We won’t be dining here again.
Staff friendly and service was quick but lacking. We were never asked if we wanted to order drinks. One dish was forgotten completely. Out of the 4 entrees one was very good one good not great the other two subpar. We’ve come to theWestin every year since it opened and each yr eaten at whatever restaurant happens to be occupying this space. Maya has endured longer than most it seems and I’m not certain why. It’s food suffers from too many ingredients and flavors combined resulting in a flavor miss. Flautas are a mushy conglomerate of textures and sauces. Chile Relleno needs to be rethought! Usually we eat there more than once during our stay. We probably will not return until a new name is on the door. But we love the Westin!
Half empty restaurant fought me on a change table request to a quieter location
I had a reservation for more than a week ahead but was told other tables were reserved
Don’t appreciate being told I am a second class patron
Food was fabulous. When we decided not to order any alcoholic beverages our server clearly disengaged from us and the remainder of our experience was lackluster from a service perspective.
Cassie was great! Very friendly and really took care of us and our boys! Happy hour is awesome.. food and prices were much better than eating from regular menu.. a definite must try!
Trying too hard to be different with Mexican food ... the simple essence has been lost in complex creativity. Atmosphere has lost its edge. Cold breeze into dining room from the patio doors. Too bad, it is close to being excellent.
The food is pretty good, but the service is always awful!
Lina was an exceptional waitress & the manager was friendly to come by to check on our table both times we dined here. Abby with the tableside guacamole was great too!
Excellent food, poor service!!
