   We had the chicken and waffle and the meatloaf sammie. Everything was so delicious! The bread of that meatloaf sammie.. wow! Yummy! Love this place! I was happy to share this place with my friend who has never been.

   We had a blast at MOMs! Best fried chicken we’ve ever had. We sat at the bar instead of a table because the bartenders are so fun to talk to! The upstairs is a little more bare, atmosphere wise other than the bar area it we had a great time. Solid drink selection. Don’t customize anything - enjoy southern fare as intended!

   A gastro pub with perhaps a more limited menu than some. Good location, interesting old building, but a lack of energy pervades from the menu to the upkeep. My extremely sour whiskey sour also tasted of coconut. There was no attempt at an interesting presentation, which is a minor disappointment, but sets the tone for the rest of the experience. It’s a shame because this could be a great place.

   The hostess who sat us down was somewhat curt and abrupt when seating us despite having reservations. She placed us in the back where there was poor lighting and a wobbly table. I asked for a different table and she did oblige with a better seating arrangement. The waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious.

   We had three at our table for lunch and the experience was perfect. I usually go to Mom’s for dinner so it was a change to have lunch. Their menu was small and manageable. Choices ranged from salads, soups, wings, burgers and a few entrees. My favorites were the fried pickles for an appetizer and the Cuban press sandwich was to die for! It was so big that I brought home for lunch the next day. Even great when re-heating. Best part of our lunch was the personable and professional server who took great care of us. Thanks Mom’s. 💜

   Nice meal and the food was tasty. Not OMG great, just okay. Prices were fair and reasonable. The service was good but not great, especially since the restaurant was basically empty when we went with our party of 6.

   Food was good, the exception was the difference between a well done burger or a rare burger. Our server was quick to react, which softened the issue. I will continue to support the restaurant. People are very nice and food is usually very good.

    Server (Grant) was fantastic. Food is outstanding but pricey for sandwiches. Place was super loud during our meal because of a party upstairs. We rolled with it - but if you were going there for an intimate meal where you wanted to talk to someone with your voice at a regular volume, it would have disappointing. That being said I don’t think it’s that loud all the time and we will go back!

    This was my first time to Maxwells on Main (Mom’s). I was pleasantly surprised. Had the Mediterranean salad with shrimp. Fun little surprised in this salad with falafel and seared on a pit bread! I had the Butternut Squash Risotto as a side dish. I enjoyed everything! I will be back!

    Nice evening excellent service. My wife enjoyed her chicken and waffles very much however Jambalaya was a bit off in taste basically just rice and some tomatoes with shrimp that missed the blend of flavors typical of the dish. Fine cocktails and very professional service.

    Really disappointing. Have eaten there numerous times, but this one was a shocker. Arrived to nobody at the hostess station. We went inside and met our friends who were already seated. Service and attentiveness was terrible, especially considering it was a very slow night for them. The kitchen door was left open for all to enjoy the kitchen noise. And the topper was when all the wait staff sung happy birthday to the table nearby. It get like TGI Fridays or worse yet, Chuck E. Cheese. The salads came out at the same time as the main course. Why, I have no idea?? Once we were done with the meal, our dirty plates remained on the table for the duration of our stay. Why?? This poor service was all a real surprise to me as I have dined here in previous years and been happy. Thank goodness the food was good, and we had a good time seeing an old friend in town. I doubt I’ll go back as a result of such poor service.

    Our server was absolutely spectacular. The food was delicious. The drinks were decent, but I’m not a big drinker. Moderate noise, as it’s attached to the MOM’s bar. Highly recommend!

    I’m not sure why but our party of four including a child were seated in the bar area right next to a party of 10. It was difficult to hear each other. We should have asked to be seated on the restaurant side immediately (I’m thinking they didn’t have enough servers over there?) but decided to see if it might work out - it didn’t and after a while we asked to be seated in a different spot. Apparently that caused an issue with the check and we’d need to close out our bill and then move. We didn’t see anyone for about 10 minutes and at that point the food was delivered so we stayed put. A bartender was our server and it was obvious he didn’t want to be a server. No personality, one word answers. Walked by with a drink and banged it down on the table and kept moving. The food was fine (I had the pulled pork/sweet potato quesadilla which I thought would be an interesting combination however there was very little pork in mine so this missed the mark). I get Covid and workforce issues but for the amount of money I’m spending to enjoy an evening out I expect better than this experience.

    Menu isn’t expansive but that’s ok. Food is always excellently prepared and very tasty. Only downside to M O M ‘s is there is not much for kids. Just 2 options. I frequently get the hanger steak and chorizo hash and am never dissatisfied.

    Best chicken sammy I ever had! The maple chipotle sauce with slaw on the brioche bun was a fantastic combination oh and the pickles…the pickles had an amazing flavor that I just couldn’t put my finger on. The waitress said perhaps cinnamon?

    Brunch was sooo good. Their food is ridiculous. There was live music and we got the table we asked for. The only thing was the waiter had the entire bar and the tables, so he forgot about us a couple times. But that’s okay, we were enjoying each other. Will definitely be back.

    Poor dining experience. My parents came to visit and wanted to take them to Doylestown. We were sat upstairs alone instead of the main dining area for some reason. For food, two of the meals came out incorrectly as ordered. Soda machine wasn’t working as all beverages / mixers tasted like tonic. Service was poor and we were never checked on to address any of these issues. Each time, we had to get up to get the wait staff and were never checked on. Was disappointed in my last two visits here. The food itself always taste good here but the service is poor when compared to other spots in Doylestown.
