MAX's Wine Dive Fort Worth - W. 7th St. Ratings and Reviews
I enjoyed everything about this.
To bad my friend of color did not..... Come on y'all would it hurt to have a few black customers on a Sat night? Not even a black server or bar tender?
I REALY looked forward to visiting this spot. I read the reviews.
But my date felt so out of place we left... Waited till 3 other, larger tables were sat despite our reservation. Then we were sat in front of the bathrooms....
Only black guy in the place.... We got water, left a $5 tip & left.
Come on y'all do better
Max's never fails! Took my boyfriend here for his first time on NYE and we had an amazing time the moment we walked through the door. The hosts were extremely friendly and personable, our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. And, of course, the food was absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to visit again and try new items on their seasonal menu!
I’m never one to leave a review about a place good or bad but this place caught my attention enough to do so. It was my parents 50th wedding anniversary, and we could have not been more impressed with the atmosphere, the noise level and just the overall feel of Max’s. If I had to say for the setting we were looking for it was perfect. The food was amazing, everyone ordered something different on the menu and not one thing was left on plates and if it was it was taken home in doggy bags for further consumption for the next mornings breakfast. The plate that stood out the most to me was the PB&J Wings and wow those are unreal. Never thought that would be a pairing made for heaven but it’s most definitely one of the many things that will bring us back to Max’s. The waitress was amazing, I wish I could remember her name but she did an unbelievable job and made an already special evening that much better! Thank you Max’s and we look forward to returning!
We had brunch at Max's and it was just okay--in the past it had been great. This time, ordered similar food and it was just not good. Food was undercooked--was oversalted--sent it back--waitstaff and manager were very nice about it. The service is always great--and the wine selection was great as usual. We will try it again--every place has an off day--hope it is better next time.
One of our favorite places for a date night or meal before a TCU game. We love the very friendly staff and everything we have eaten there is delicious and the fried chicken is a favorite! It is also a place where we love check out some great wines, including a new favorite we discovered tonight.
We go to MAX’s about once or twice a month mostly for Brunch. We love their breakfast options and the quality is pretty consistent. We’ve been to the o es in Dallas and Ft Worth and like this one more for the quiet though Dallas’ is a nice venue. It’s great for comfort food and a mimosa. Service is excellent every time we’ve been.
The menu is quite small and the place definitely has a college 'vibe', but the food is good! We were delighted with the pulled pork appetizer, the roasted brussels sprouts and the fried chicken. There's a talented chef in this kitchen. I would love to throw on some tablecloths, take out the TVs and change the music to satisfy my 'fine-dining' appetite, but -- evidenced by the full house and the tasty offerings -- this restaurant has found a great niche and is doing a lot of things right.
The service was excellent. We showed up before our reservation and with an extra person and they tried really hard to accommodate us. It is a small funky and fun place and we enjoyed it very much. The food was a bit cold when it arrived but they immediately rectified it and threw in a free dessert.! We will definitely return soon.
Our dining experience was nice enough. But not the white tablecloth upscale ambiance we expected. Our back in a dark, loud (under a speaker), crowded, corner table was not fun. We DID have a reservation. Our server could not have been better, though. We kept saying, "at least the food was good".
Enjoyed the first visit and looking forward to returning. The fried chicken dish was delicious, as was the Poutine...so yummy! The wine tasting was fun and tasty. I ended up purchasing a bottle of the red wine that I was drinking that evening for a decent price.
This is our go to brunch place! My daughter had the birthday pancakes, that was a SUPER sweet treat...had it been her actual birthday, I wouldn't have minded, she didn't mind at all :) Service is always great. The Egg Sandwich is an every visit favorite of mine, and my son loves the fried chicken! It's always dark and a little loud, but the food and service is worth it.
