Using only freshly-prepared, local ingredients in all of our dishes…Offering wines that come from environment-, and earth-friendly growers…Friendly, polite, and accommodating servers who invite you in and make you feel at ease as if you are a welcome guest in their home…This is Max's Harvest The atmosphere in our restaurant is much like that of a dinner party at home, and we only feed you what we would feed our own families. In fact, we believe the best medicine is at the end of your fork. Together with our local suppliers, we strive for sustainability and believe the best-tasting food is that which has just been picked from the garden, lovingly raised at the hands of local farmers or just plucked from the branch of a tree. Come dine with us. Celebrate the moment. Enjoy the Harvest.

Max's Harvest Ratings and Reviews
This was our third dinner at Max's Harvest and the only disappointing one. The service was mediocre. They began to turn off heaters (including the one next to us on a chilly night) and clean up while we (and another table) were still enjoying dinner and brought us our check before we asked for it, making it clear that they were ready for us to leave. It was a very disappointing experience, especially after we told our guest that it was "our favorite restaurant" in Delray. No longer!
Enjoyed our dinner at Harvest. The menu is always interesting and changes often. We met some friends there and they enjoyed it too. There are a lot of options to select from which makes it fun. Everything is fresh and local. I'd highly recommend this place.
Been here for HH but not for dinner. So we had dinner here and just loved the healthy menu. I got the Gnoochi and my date had the ribs. Both dished were fresh, full of flavor and healthy which we like. Our waitress was wonderful and offered friendly service. We will be back for sure.
Talented chef at this farm to table gem. Food was original, thoughtful, and the menu was cohesive. Service was energetic and thoughtful (with a few exceptions). One of the better meals we've had in some time.
However, what took away from the experience were the obnoxious guests throughout the restaurant. Normally I wouldn't take away from a restaurant because of guests, however - these guests were obviously all regulars. Standing up, shouting expletives, and gathering 10 around a table of 6 crowding us out. Although our server mouthed an apology, it's clear this is a regular thing.
It's a shame that management is unwilling to ask for better behaved guests. The food can hold up to a few offended reviews by customers who are asked to simply "behave".
I️ went to Max’s Harvest for brunch with my bestie. It was really nice! We loved the scenery and the atmosphere. It’s very cozy and comfortable. The food was great as well...good but not leaving you too guilty. They ran out of hash browns but I’m hoping it was only because it was New Year’s Eve. Overall I️ really enjoyed it and would def recommend and even go back.
We return to this restaurant whenever we are back in town! One of our favourites!!! The chef is so creative with the presentation and taste of the food! It is a divine culinary experience!
Just wish we had one back home in Atlanta!
With GF restrictions it is such a pleasure to dine in style with outstanding service and food!
Thanks for all you do!!!!!!! We will be back!
We were celebrating an evening with friends before they move out of state and chose to eat at Max's Harvest. We were seated outside (our request) on a beautiful evening and we enjoyed a variety of delicious appetizers including the Pork Belly, Ahi Tuna and Crab Wontons. We then had a variety of main courses, but particularly were blown away by the mushroom gnocchi! The service was extraordinary--with Dwayne. We enjoyed a few bottles of great wine (from home!) that had a resonable corkage. A perfect night enjoyed outside on a spectacular evening with great friends, great food, great wine and great service!
The bass line of the background music dominated the sound of the room, taking over the ambiance and taking away from our experience. Where in the past knowledgeable servers dedicated to the restaurant’s farm to table mission were able to converse clearly with us about the food’s source and preparation, now with the incessant din the waiter was only able to convey the basic info and take our order. He was a nice guy and did a great job under the circumstances, but didn’t have the opportunity to show his full talents.
The hostess, though cheerful and pretty, was not the sort of top level pro they used to hire. There is more of a party atmosphere than in the past, though the food is still excellent.
Had a nice time, but probably won’t choose Max’s again for special occasion dining.
Very nice looking restaurant with excellent servers. Went there for brunch. The "bottomless" bloody mary/sangria/mimosa bar was kind of annoying. You have to get up and stand in line to get your own. My "everything" bagel was just a plain bagel like you defrost. The chicken on the waffles was grisly dark meat. No option for chicken breast meat. When we made the suggestion to our waiter that the chef consider having the menu say dark meat or to offer a white meat option he said essentially "forget it, the chef thinks he's right about everything and wouldn't even listen" Well listen to THIS chef...... "we won't be back any time soon, and prefer Farmhouse on Atlantic!!"
Maxes has been one of our favorite restaurants for years. The food was always creative and divine. However when we went there this past Saturday night after being away for several months we noticed that none of our favorite dishes were on the menu. We were so disappointed but we ordered a number of different dishes and were so disappointed. I ordered Brussels sprouts that was so overly sweet that I couldn't eat them. The other dishes were just average nothing special. The chef has left and is opening his own restaurant and we will certainly visit him there. The current chef did not impress. We will not be back.
As always, the food was exceptional but they ran out of chicken and waffles, and orange juice at the mimosa bar. The service left much to be desired. Our server was indifferent and uninterested. Very disappointing experience overall.
Sunday brunch service took an hour. When we asked the waiter where our meal was, he said that they were short staffed and, also, that our meal was delayed because we ordered an appetizer. No apologies, no rolls, rude attitude. Eggs were delivered to the table cold.
