We had out of town guests and decided to bring them here after a couple of recommendations from neighbors. We sat on the back patio which was very nice with great ambiance. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We shared the alligator appetizer and all tried something different for our entrees. It was all excellent! We will definitely be back.
Hard to find something we wanted on the menu. Food was okay . Sat in a quiet room and that was very nice.
Our second time did not disappoint. Cant wait to go again.
This was our first visit to Max's Harvest. We sat in the back outside covered patio area where there is a nice bar which was full but not overly crowded. We liked the back area better as it had music and more of a lively scene, but the front outside seating area was also very nice - especially if you don't want to hear the music in the back and you want to sit outside.
The crab wantons for app were very good. We had the 96 hour St Louis ribs and the Scallops for dinner. Scallops were very tasty but wasn't much on the plate other than the scallops - wish our server told us the menu was a la carte. The ribs, which the server said was his favorite thing on the menu, were very disappointing. They had a charred, spicy flavor that I didn't like and they were not that meaty.
We liked the vibe and would go back for drinks. We'd possibly give it another shot for dinner knowing we'd have to order extra food with our entree and staying away from the ribs.
Service was very good and bartender at back bar was great.
My wife and I celebrated our wedding Anniversary here.
First time at Max’s Harvest. Will definitely go back when in the area again. Our waiter Johnny was great. The food delicious. Great atmosphere.
Everything was great except when I checked in the young girl at the front desk could not find my reservation. I asked if she wanted to see it because I made it thru open table and she said she didn’t have to see it. Then later on I got an email from opentable saying that I did not show up. Don’t know how she couldn’t find me in the computer.
The food is very good. Very attentive service. Pleasant environment.
Food and service was amazing! Great wine and awesome vegan options
The foos was yummy!
We always looked forward to visiting Max's Harvest when we were in the Del Ray area since it first open. We always found a number of items on the menu that we wanted to try. I have visited twice in the past 3 months and I have to say, it is just not the same. Found the menu a bit more challenging to choose from and what we tried was good, but not the "awesome" we remember from the past. We are not ready to give up on Max's Harvest but we hope they their way back so we can call Max's Harvest one of our favorites again.
Went for lunch/brunch on a Saturday. Got the smoked salmon and bagel, etc. It was good, but would have been better if the brownish parts of the fish were removed (there were a lot of brownish parts - yuck). We also tried the homemade doughnuts that everyone raves about. They were good, though they appeared to have been heated up in the microwave because they were extremely hot inside, as well as chewy. For the coffee, all they have is regular milk, no almond or soy. So if you are lactose intolerant or vegan, you are outta luck on the coffee drinks. I think Max's gets great reviews for brunch because of the bottomless cocktails. Overall, I thought it was fine but not great.
The mushroom tacos were divine. Yvonne was, yet again, amazing. See you again soon!
The food here is fresh and good. For brunch, they offer "bottomless" champagne and a few other options for $15 - and you can add various bites of fresh fruit to your drinks if you choose. The only downside is that you have to stand at the bar to get your drinks, even if you are seated at a table. That can stop a conversation cold while people have to exit to get a drink! Recently there was an extremely loud bar group even though it was early afternoon brunch-time and that adversely impacted what would usually be a quiet time. Probably that's the exception rather than the rule - hope so! This is in a great location on a shady street off the main drag in Delray Beach. Definitely do put this on your list to try.
Wonderful, attentive waiter, Johnny. Great recommendations and delicious food (especially the wonton appetizer and rib entree). Good value and very pretty outdoor dining area. Will definitely go again.
I have eaten at Max’s at least 40 times but never again after the experience tonight. We actually walked out after the appetizers this was one of my favorite places being in the hotel business I send tons of people there But after tonight I’m done and it’s not even worth talking about eat there at your own risk. All I can say is tonight they lost $180 over three dollar appetizer The hostess and the waitress could not care less. Well it’s been nice but never again
I love Max's Harvest. The menu is unique and the food is terrific!
It is expensive and I am have to be careful recommending it due to the price.
We had Easter brunch. My friend and I ordered the vegetable omelette.
It looked like a piece of folded yellow rubber...it was awful. I have no idea what they used to make this omelette. I'm assuming it was made out of egg beaters, but without a doubt, it was not made with fresh egg. I am a Chef, so this to me was a total turn off.
One of my friends ordered a "mojito" that tasted like a lemonade (very little alcohol) and had one wilted mint leaf..
A restaurant that praises itself for being "fork to table" should never serve food or drinks like that. It is unacceptable. I'm not sure who's overseeing this place...
In addition our server was aloof; he never once came to the table to ask if we needed an extra drink or to ask if we wanted to order anything else...
I won't go back to this restaurant.
Just had Easter brunch. The avocado eggs benedict were outstanding. The beet salad and avocado toast were very good too. We had the bottomless mimosas, yummy and the bloody marks. I would definitely go back and recommend this restaurant to friends.
I have been to Max's Harvest a number of times, and all for brunch. The all you care to enjoy mimosa/bloody mary/sangria bar is super fun. So many options to make your drink elevated. I've never been disappointed by the food. Always fresh and clean and never feel to heavy when I've done eating. Highly recommend.
My family of 4 went for Easter brunch and as always our food was delicious! The unlimited mimosas are my favorite each time I go. The four of us ordered something different and each dish was excellent. By far one of the best places to go in Delray Beach. Never are we disappointed! Service was top notch. Ambience is wonderful.
This is our favorite restaurant in Delray Beach. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional.
Always one of our favorite places when we are in town and it never disappoints. Fresh, seasonal ingredients and interesting menu choices. We split the crab wontons as a starter...absolutely delicious but lite enough to start with. I had the grilled octopus salad, which came in a bright red suace with olives and fingerling potatoes. Could eat that every night! My husband had the seared scallops which were tender and perfectly cooked. We shared a side of cauliflower, which had a middle eastern flavor to it. Quite extraordinary. Always great cocktails to start with and a great selection of wines.
we come here a lot but we came in for a later, last minute reservation. service was amazing! our waiter was wonderful and happy to serve even at 10 o’clock at night! the food was perfect, as usual!
Great ambiance seated outside Thursday a night. We both found the food to be just average. Disappointing for the price.
We had a table outside that was perfect last Thursday. Our server was fun, knowledgable and excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
As advertised, locally sourced food, fresh and well prepared. Interesting and varied menu, everyone found something to like. Best scallops ever. Waiter Duane was a star, an entertainer. Great night.
Went to Max's Harvest on 3/26 for dinner at 7:30. Service was horrible and the restaurant wasn't even that busy. It took 15-20 min for someone to come over when we were first seated and it didn't get much better from there. Took forever to get water and our glasses were never refilled. At the end, when we were ready for our check, we couldn't find our server. Once we finally got our check, my husband had to get up and track our server down to run our cc. It's a shame because the food was good. We will never go back due to the very poor service.
Sat on the back patio for dinner. Devin was our server. Started with the crab wonton. Excellent choice. Had a good kick. Split the ribs as an entree. Awesome flavor, fall off the bone, with collard greens & corn. 1/2 price wine bottles on Monday!! Creative menu. Great friendly service. We”ll be back !!
So many restaurants advertise farm to table.
Let me start by saying it starts with your waitress
Laura greeted us and went through what we thought was a true culinary experience.
From wines to apps she was obviously a find
Dinner was spectacular thx to Laura and we would make this restaurant our Farm to table point
Harvest should be proud to employ such a great lady!
Matt was an excellent waiter and the environment was friendly, mimosa bar was on top, I would advise from staying away from the biscuit and gravy but everything else was excellent !!!!
What a great find for brunch. I could be happy just ordering starters. The donuts are fresh and delicious. Also very happy with the goat cheese croquettes. The omelette was fluffy and the salad served with it was a great counter point to the rest of the meal
Brunch was absolute perfection. There wasn't a single item ordered that was sub-par. New item to brunch menu - bacon egg & cheese biscuit - was so delicious and perfectly cooked (not dry/fluffy or soft/runny), I would move to Delray to have it every weekend! Side of house cured bacon was unbelievably good (thickly sliced, maple sweet). We would have ordered the homemade donuts, but we were a party of 2 and they are served 3 or 4 per order (depending on daily special or menu donut). Staff was very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Locally owned farm provided outstanding produce. Sitting out under the awning was outstanding. What a great experience!
We had dinner reservations but ended up sitting at the bar- enjoying conversation with the bartender & had happy hour appetizers& 1/2 price wine. Excellent value!
Max's Harvest in one of our favorite DelRay restaurants. The food is delicious and creatively prepared. The service is professional but not at all stuffy. We have never been disappointed.
Can't wait to go back.
My friend and I enjoyed a great meal with a superb bottle of wine which was offered at half price. I will definitely return to Max's Harvest.
The food was mediocre and the service was bad. Very disappointed because this establishment gets great reviews.
The restaurant was loud, service was slow and the food was average.
Great mix of flavors
Tuna crudo and goat cheese croquettes are my fav's.
