This was our first and last time going to Maxie's. From the pictures, it looked like a really fun place. We were the only people in the restaurant but it was strongly suggested "reservations needed". The service was ok, the food mediocre and overpriced. It was like an expensive Denny's and not at all to what we have come to expect, especially offered by Open Table.

So much food and so little flavor. Great selection, but beware of what you get. I had the Pork Spare ribs (good), Chedder Bacon Cornbread (no flavor), and the Brisket (no flavor). The first time I had Mabel’s in 2019, I had their meatloaf. IT WAS AMAZING. This time I ordered something different and it was disappointing. I will say if you take the meal home, you can add your own spices and make an incredible meal.

We came for breakfast. Ordered eggs over medium, they came with runny whites. Had to send them back. The pancakes were rubbery, forcing me to use a knife to even eat them. Our server was nice and positive, so that brings up the overall rating.

We were seated right away and given drinks by one waitress. 15 minutes later we had to flag down another waitress to put in our order. Food came out 15 minutes later. My fried crispy chicken sandwich was very soggy and overcooked. The onion rings were basic, oily taste. We were also never asked if we wanted our drinks refilled our even water. Watched another table get taken care by 3 different waitresses. Basic diner food here at best. The decor is outdated and basic. Tables had a roulette plastic cover that was ripped. When your in Vegas do not stop here, spend your money elsewhere on good food and service.

The food was delicious and the waiter was very nice but we were charged $12 for what we thought was a Moscow Mule and was just brought a glass and a can...I feel the waiter should’ve been more descriptive before we paid the $12 for a can! I also felt the restaurant needed to be more lively for Vegas, my opinion.

We ate at Maxie's Las Vegas for the first time during our recent Memorial Day trip. It provided the perfect atmosphere on the LINQ promenade to have our morning coffee and make a plan for our day. Overall, I loved the environment, our server, and the price...I was let down by the food, merely because well, breakfast is breakfast. There was nothing wrong with is, it was just boring. However, if you're looking for a laid back, affordable coffee to start your day, I definitely recommend.

We went after a week being open, food was good, ambiance needs some work, the service from Autumn was excellent, will definitely go back next time we ae back in vegas. The eggs Benedict box was great, a must try!
