Other reviews rate this place as moderately expensive. The prices are very reasonable, and are lower than similar Saratoga Springs establishments.
Overall was great. Waited a while for our coffee at the end.
Great food and terrific service.
This restaurant is a better value for lunch. Noise level in dining area very loud. Bar is better service and less noisy.
Consistently good food, service and NY ambience at Max’s. My favorite casual Saratoga restaurant.
The music was too loud this Saturday at brunch. My companion and I should have thought to ask to lower the sound.
Sometimes it’s a struggle to get salt and pepper for such things as eggs, if it’s wanted.
This restaurant was recommended to us by the company we were meeting with. It was easy to get a reservation and walking distance from our hotel. We were seated right away. The olive oil and balsamic they had at the tables is locally made and was SO DELICIOUS! We ended up purchasing some before we left the area! Their food at Max London’s was VERY GOOD! Although there was a ton of it! The atmosphere was lovely and the service was great! Highly recommend!
Super friendly and attentive!
Haven't dined there in a few years and it has definitely deteriorated, our waitstaff were very good, knowledgeable, and attentive. It was much better when the original owner ran it.
There was brunch entertainment that was too loud. My husband did not like his cappuccino at all - tasted bitter. The meals were ok, but not outstanding.
Broccoli Eggs Benedict. Best Benedict on the planet!
Excellent as always
Exceptional food, huge portions! As a frequent Traveller to Saratoga Springs, we definitely will be back.
My wife and I are regulars at Max London dining there about once a week. The food and service are both consistently good. My favorite is the beet salad and salmon over risotto as an entree. Seems like the restaurant is busier than in the past...always a favorite of Skidmore families for some reason.
Another great brunch!
this place never disappoints. The food is always amazing and the espresso martini is great. Drink prices are high if you have multiple and it is a bit expensive but well worth it for myself and the hubs for a nice night out.
New Years Day brunch, excellent food choices and execution was perfect, awesome waitress, very loud in restaurant overall it was great!
Picked at random for New Years Day brunch and lucked out! Service and food were excellent and they make a very tasty Bloody Mary!
Energetic atmosphere. A must visit when going to Saratoga.
First time at Max London’s, was there on time for our reservation, people came in after us for the same time reservation but were taken to their table first. Didn’t realize there was a “nicer” area to the restaurant. I wish we didn’t have a table in the food prep/bar area at a bar height table. Was hoping for a better brunch experience. Food was good, wait staff friendly.
First time visiting and will definitely go back. Food and staff were excellent.
It was delicious and great service!
Very nice excellent food and service
Sunday Brunch is our favorite. My wife and I always start with a 466 cocktail & a Micheals Manhatten. Cocktails are always spot on! We orders two entrees, Brunch Burger and the Fried chicken Benedict. Both are excellent. Max London’s never disappoints!!
We love Max London's for a pizza and salad and drinks but were given a gift cert so decided to order more expensive entrees. The bolognese was good but the salmon was very disappointing, and not worth what they charge for it. The fish itself was slightly underdone on the inside and slightly overdone on the outside--it wasn't possible to cut into it with a form. The butternut risotto was just mush. The flavor of the Brussels sprouts--maybe 3 of them, total--was indistinguishable from the mush they sat in. So, lesson learned--we'll stick with pizzas and salads and enjoy this otherwise extremely pleasant restaurant.
We love it here our go to every time we get together!
I had been to Max London’s for dinner and really enjoyed the food and delicious cocktails. My daughter suggested we try it for brunch. My French toast was prepared exactly how I like it with thick slices of bread and light coating of egg. It was cooked perfectly, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. There was no gooey or mushy insides to this French toast. A simple dusting of powdered sugar, real maple syrup, and a dollop of cinnamon butter made for a lovely presentation.
The restaurant was quite crowded with young families and older patrons as well, but the noise level wasn’t too crazy. I would definitely go back for brunch!
It was a little too loud for important conversations. The brunch DJ tried to keep it quiet though.
Overall, I really enjoyed Max London's and their broad availability for gluten-free products is wonderful. The service was superb (thank you, Bob) and the atmosphere was wonderful. The quality of food was high (along with the higher price point), but there was some cross-contamination with gluten. I still got mildly glutened. I know that it is extremely difficult to totally prevent cross-contamination, but there it is. In addition, I know that chefs can be sensitive regarding salt and pepper on the table, but there needs to be salt and pepper on the table. Put them in fancy dispensers, or whatever. That's my opinion.
Love the French toast
Great food and cocktails, terrific service, we’ll be back next time we’re in tiwn.
We pick a Wednesday evening to dine out at Max London's. Our reservations were for 6:30 pm and the restaurant was about half full. We were taken to our table straight away, no waiting..love that. Our waitress listed the specials and Wednesday is $9 pizza night. Wine list by the glass was decent and each of us found one to enjoyed. Appetizers were delicious as was the main course top off with a scrumptious dessert. There is one picky point I will make to an otherwise satisfying evening, it was loud.
Wonderful food and waitstaff!!
What a great evening. Dinner, drinks and an awesome date with my wife! Max London’s is a great place to go on a date.
We were visiting Saratoga Springs for an impromptu getaway and were looking for a good place to eat dinner on a holiday Monday. We stumbled across Max London and couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience. The service was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere lively and comfortable, and the food was outstanding. Very much recommended.
I had the Broadway breakfast, nothing extraordinary, it’s 2 eggs and 3 potato hash for $11. Toast was not included! Really!! So I ordered toast and for an extra $2.00 i was served 1 slice of bread. This is ridiculous! I would have rather been charged $13.00 and had toast included and by the way it should be 2 slices! I know this is a very popular spot but don’t take advantage of your customers!
Nice restaurant right on broadway. Fresh pasta was delicious and the ambiance is very nice.
Met a good friend for dinner I hadn’t seen in a long time. The waitress let us sit and have cocktails for as long as we wanted. She didn’t rush us at all. We had a wonderful dinner which was delicious. Again while we were well catered to we never felt rushed. I would go back in a minute.
Salad had cold grilled chicken, but menu doesn’t indicate that chicken is served cold.
Food is outstanding but noise level makes conversation difficult
Always a pleasure
