   The level of attention to food allergies was unmatched, the wine list was excellent, the service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend. 10/10

   Food was very good and the server was attentive. The hostess and server support were very young and did not look like they appreciated the opportunity. They were kids lol. We did make a reservation and called out that it was our anniversary and they did nothing special. This would not have been a big deal except they made a big deal at the table next to us because it was there …well..anniversary.

   Every bite of food was absolutely delicious: filets, salads, crab cakes, and numerous sides. My father was thrilled with the menu choices and selected lamb chops. He said no one has them anymore and they were cooked and seasoned to perfection. He ate every bite. The restaurant and bar were busy with a great energy and vibe—felt cozy and welcoming. Properly staffed and all were well trained—we were very well taken care of. Virginia, the manager, introduced herself and checked on our table to ensure we were enjoying our meal and see if we needed anything. This type of service is rare today so even more appreciated. Wonderful meal and experience. We will be back.

   Overall it was a good experience. Service was a bit slow but ok. It was also very nice that they comped a dessert as it was my husband’s birthday. The food was great with 2 exceptions. I ordered a side of asparagus and was asked if it was ok if prosciutto was on it. Sure, I said. It also ended up with an odd orange creamy sauce that o just tried to scrape off. The main reason my review isn’t better is that one third of my husband’s ribeye was too gristly to eat. We didn’t expect that on something that pricey. Spinach salad was very good, especially the dressing. Steak tartare was excellent and the side of fries was very good. We’d go back hoping the steak was an anomaly, and I’d ask for plain asparagus. Not an inexpensive place but portions are good sized.

    Probably the best in Rochester. Fantastic, very generous portions.
