Max Group was kind enough to offer a free dinner for my birthday. We decided to go to Max Amore because it had a list of gluten free items. The food was good and the service was great. I had a sly fox premium cocktail which was delicious. The dish I had came with three types of meat: meatball, ribs and sausage. Was definitely filling.

Dish I ordered was a disappointment - linguine with grilled shrimp and artichokes. It had absolutely no flavor whatsoever, totally bland, and very skimpy on the artichoke content. Not worth $15 at lunch.

Other than that, fun as always. Efficient and friendly service. Hint to kitchen: warm up the bread before serving it. It was cold.

As always, a wonderful place to meet up with friends for dinner. Attention to service is excellent. Seating at the bar tends to be tight, though, especially at Happy Hour, which probably indicates the restaurant's popularity.

Arrived early and were seated slightly ahead of reservation time. As this was at the height of Saturday night dining, service was slow. Gave us time to talk but took over an hour before we were served our meal.

My in-laws go often and we have gone many times. This night was off. It took a really long time to get our food. My pork shank entree looked like it had been sitting around while the other entrees were being prepared. It was cold and the polenta was congealed. We were celebrating a birthday and given the delays I thought maybe an apology and a free dessert? Just wasn’t happy this time. Hope it was just an off night and not a trend.

You can’t compare this place to fine dining in terms of creativity, ambiance, and quality of food. But in terms of service no restaurant compares locally. It’s the management and executive chef that makes this restaurant special. You will never be served a plate that’s been sitting for more than a minute. As soon as all your parties plates are ready they are served by the first server available.

And by the way the food is great.

Excellent meal with attentive service. Restaurant was crowded and noisy when we first arrived, definitely a popular spot, but it quieted as a few tables emptied. The quality of the food did not disappoint, and our experience was much more positive than some described in other reviews.

Overall, very good dining experience. Menu specials were excellent...fettucine ragu, swordfish, bourbon bread pudding. Unfortunately, we had a newer waitress who seemed overwhelmed by the busy Friday night. Left us unattended for long periods of time.

Rather mediocre experience. Took them almost 30 minutes to get out appetizers and kids meal (pizza and spaghetti) on a night when they were not filled to capacity. They forgot the salad and sent out appetizers and main meal at the same time. Couldn't correctly make a seabreeze. Food is OK. They have been getting worse over the last yearish.

We arrived at 6:20. We ordered an app, salad, two pasta dishes, and a main course. By 8:00, we had not received our main course even though we had been finished for 20 minutes. Of the pasta that we did get, one had so little flavor it was inedible, the other was just bad. We got a manager by that point. To his credit,he did take care of us via the bill. This shouldn't have happened in the first place. It was a 20 minute wait between drinks. Also, it was a Sunday night and not that busy. This was supposed to be a birthday dinner (which I had advised them of when I made reservation) and it was a big disappointment.

We stopped in for lunch on the way back home from vacation. We usually eat at the bar here but decided to book on opentable and enjoy yet another wonderful meal. Our server was personable and took good care of us. The shrimp Fra Diavolo was a light tomato sauce yet lightly spiced. Veal Bocconcini was in a flavorful mushroom sauce. Always a great place to stop in for a good lunch or dinner. Service is consistently excellent.

It was our first time to Max Amore, recommended by a friend. I had made a reservation and was seated next to the front door although the other areas had plenty of seating available. The other parts of the restaurant looked more comfortable. The food was ok. Loved the olives, bread and garlic, however, the main course was lacking. The orecchiette was bland. My companion ordered penne with pesto and added sausage. The pesto was good, however, we were not expecting sausage crumbles in the pasta. The food came so quickly I had not had time to finish a glass of wine prior to eating. Service was average, not as good as expected and I felt we were rushed.

Consistently good Italian food with mediocre service in an upscale strip mall environment. My companion asked for extra sauce in his take-home pasta and the waitress declined. A tacky move!

We have never had a bad meal at Max Amore, and we have been going since it opened many years ago. Our server, Michael, is always awesome. Amazing food with a terrific and varied menu. Would eat here every day for dinner if that was possible!
