   Tried the weekday date night. Food portion was huge and was done really well. Worth a try

   Maven by Morgan never disappoints me. The service is exceptional and the food is always perfect. I had the steak which was so tasty and cooked to perfection. The desserts are always amazing too.

   Came for the bottomless cocktails and dinner for $89 per person. Party of 6 adults. Dinner consisted of focaccia & butter for entree, an option of 1/2 chicken or pasta to share between 2 people as mains, sides of rocket salad & chips, then dessert. Portion of mains was tiny, 1/2 chicken was closer to the size of 1/4. So in between 6 adults, we had 1 whole chicken and a small plate of pasta. We ended up ordering an extra 4 mains from the A la carte menu. The let down was the mains were so over seasoned - in particular the pasta & sauce in the barramundi. Chicken flavours were great b it again, salty. Steak was cooked well but needed more sauce. Squid with black rice was delicious but a bit too charred which made it bitter. Slow cooked beef was nice. Drinks were great, flowed very well and service was good with our waitress constantly checking in on us. Overall, good experience but food was a bit of a let down - maybe a dinner elsewhere and come for snacks and cocktails instead would have been a better option as the booking was quite late (0845PM-1045PM).

   Our meal at Maven by Morgan was DELICIOUS. Food is incredible, aesthetic of the restaurant is awesome, service was great. Highly recommend!

   The food at Maven was divine. Everything from the burrata & focaccia, to the lamb, porchetta, and the sides, were exceptional. Special mention re the roasted carrots which were really good. Chef/owner Morgan Hipworth is incredibly kind, warm & friendly. He mentioned that he’d baked my birthday cake for me which was very sweet. Dining room was modern, minimal and buzzy. The slight letdown for us was in the service. Waiters seemed harried, forgot that I’d ordered a birthday cake from them (Maven itself), placed the cake for us on the table then proceeded to tell us it costs $10 to bring a cake in… which confused us - as couldn’t they recognise their own cake made by themselves… didn’t give us a serving knife or plates, and kept forgetting to top up our water. I would definitely be back for the fantastic food, but perhaps on a less busy day so the service is more up to mark. Shout out to awesome Chef Morgan though! Edit: I really appreciate that the restaurant reached out to me, took my feedback seriously & were so invested in ensuring that my future experience would be even better. I’m looking forward to visiting again!

   An absolutely outstanding dining experience. The service at Maven really stood out to us, out waitstaff were exceptional and made sure their diners experience was perfect down to the last touch. The food was fantastic, but the real highlights was the pillowy focaccia and dessert. We recommend ordering with the Biscoff Tiramisu and Baked to order cookie you won’t regret it! We will be back soon!

    If you're looking for the perfect date night spot, look no further! This place is a hidden gem. We were treated to five courses of absolutely delicious food, each one more amazing than the last. The cozy and intimate ambiance made it the perfect setting for a memorable evening. And the cherry on top? At just $49 per person during the week, it's an unbeatable value. We will definitely be returning—highly recommend
