   Food (seafood stew, scallops, octopus, beef tartare - everything we got) was truly excellent, and the service was outstanding. Just because it’s been around a while doesn’t mean it isn’t absolutely worth going to!

   What an incredible restaurant with an iconic view of Pike Market. We loved everything we ate from the Pacific Northwest oysters on the 1/2 shell and the fun variety of cheeses to the main entrees of seared sea scallops and the New York strip steak. We thought the service was great and the ambience was so lively.

   The views were amazing, the food was fine. We had the deviled egg flight, fried chicken sandwich, and fish sandwich. The devil eggs were fun and pretty tasty, the chicken sandwich was good, and the fish sandwich was kind of flavorless. The potato salad was a bit odd, it was very herb forward. The views were the highlight of this spot, the food was okay.

   Hands down the best meal in Seattle. Everything from the beet salad and Spanish octopus to the fisherman’s stew was amazing. Our server and Cody were wonderful. We will for sure be back!

   The staff was lovely, the environment is quaint and beautiful. However, for what we paid, I thought the food wasn’t as good as other places we ate in the area and the menu was small. HIGHLY recommend ordering an espresso martini and the seafood stew.

    After going to Matt’s for many years, we were pretty disappointed to see the food quality taking a pretty big hit. Service was good, but two from our party weren’t able to finish half their meal.
