Lovely menu with good specials. Three out of the four of us were thrilled with our choices. the friend who ordered the duck disappointed in the preparation and the meal arriving without his potato. We requested a quiet table and found it very relaxing. Waitress very helpful and very accomdating

I've had dinner at Mattison's 41 several times over the years and the food and experience have been good. But this time was exceptional. Each course was creatively prepared, excellent in presentation and the flavors were wonderful. If I were awarding stars for the food, Mattison's 41 has gone from a 3 star restaurant to a 5 star. Thank you so much for a great meal!

Our party of 4 went here for a Savor Sarasota lunch! Our appetizers and entrees were mediocre, at best! Tiny portions and all flavors/seasonings were off. Two courses was all that was offered but they included coffee or soda!

We visited for savor Sarasota after not dining here for a couple of years. I will return. The food is as good as ever. I had bison which was amazing.. My only complaint was there was a very large very loud group right by us. We could have asked to move but then we wouldn't have had the pleasure of our server.

This was our first time and we went to try it out as part of Savoring Sarasota. The menu was interesting with many choices. We both enjoyed our food very much. The service was a little slow at first but the server was quite busy. We found it to be a comfortable place to enjoy fine dining. We will definitely go back.

Mattison's is a class act. The menu options are varied and always very good. You can be part of the bar/lounge scene with soft, live music or you can have a quiet table. The wait staff is excellent, especially Jerry and Robert. We enjoyed a lovely dinner which included beet salad, lamb chops, salmon, artichokes Esther - all delicious. Although the one round table in the restaurant (!)was not available, we were able to converse at a rectangular table. The staff is caring and called to ensure we were happy with the reservation.

This brunch was a colossal waste of money. We had the worst server ever! he filled our water glasses ,never told us he was our server, never offered us coffee ,juice , mimosas or said a word to us, and promptly disappeared. I kept asking other servers that passed by if they knew who our server was and know one was willing to help us. Since it was a buffet, we went ahead and got our food. We were just finishing up when we saw our server again; I asked him if he was our server and I asked him foe coffee, orange juice and a mimosa.. he brought them and complained that he had to work on Mothers day, and couldn't wait to go home.We didn't see him again until he brought the check. After we paid, he asked if we wanted a second cup of coffee or another mimosa. Seriously? For the price of this brunch I felt we should have had much better service. He ruined brunch for me. He was an older man, I wish I had gotten his name so I could have let the restaurant know they have a slacker for a waiter.

Mattison Forty One like their Five Star restaurant in Bradenton offers the same unique food and service a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for perhaps more. The locations decor and ambiance differ greatly although the Mattison Forty One makes huge efforts in every other category to match the experience that an inexpensive modernization would achieve. Both Mattison restaurants I've been to offered excellent service food complimentary live entertainment and parking. I've been to the Mattison in Bradenton several times for holiday celebrations with outstanding riverfront patio buffets no comparison to Madison Forty One but I can trust all Mattison restaurants will be sensational.

Nice ambiance, varied menu with many choices- similar menu to Mattison's City Grille though a completely different vibe. I like that they are particular about vendors (meats, fish etc.) and the service was very good. This is a practical spot to stop if you are in the area and need a bite or a big meal. The bar is very nice and they have comfy seating (booths etc.) in the dining room.

Hadn't been for a long while, but met friends there as it is half way between us. So glad to reacquaint ourselves with this restaurant! Conducive to conversation, yet had a wonderful singer at the bar. Our server was wonderful - helpful and checked in to make sure we were ok, but left us alone to enjoy our food and each other. The food was wonderful with inventive flavors. We all loved our experience and are already planning our next rendez vous there!

Food was mediocre at best. Pizza was undercooked and like eating white bread. Fish was dry, tasteless and over cooked. Risotto under fish was sparse, watery and the lobster over cooked also. For $100 we will go to Michael's on East. We will not return with so many fine choices in town! So disappointed. We live in Osprey & Honolulu.

The food was fantastic as always. Highly recommend the market catch over lobster risotto. My boyfriend had the prime rib and said it was the best ever.
