We were a party of 5 celebrating 3 birthdays. Had a 10oz strip steak special for $30. The steak was cooked perfectly and was juicy and tender. It came with roasted fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Our waiter brought us 3 chocolate mousse for our birthday . Nice restaurant with delicious food and great service.

The experience itself was overall excellent, especially from the service standpoint. Shelley was our server and she was really friendly and just a really pleasant and fun person. She seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with her customers. My son and I both enjoyed our two-piece fish and chips meals. I was happy I had the option of choosing sweet potato fries instead of the fries that normally come with the dish as they are my favorite! When the dishes came out we noticed immediately that the portion sizes were about half the size of what they used to be. For the price of $17.99, we both felt the meal was overpriced. It looked like a $14.99-$15.99 meal to us. If the three piece meal was $17.99 that would be more appealing and adequate from a customer view especially when comparing price vs ratio at other restaurants. Despite the price, our fish was very good. It was flaky and white inside and fried to a perfect crisp. The coating wasn't too thick and not too crunchy either. I did happen to notice that the steak dinner has increased by quite a lot. The filet and sirloin steaks were the best and most flavorful steaks at the previous point anywhere. Bottom line is that we will continue to dine at Matt The Miller's but not as often as we have in the past. When we do, however, we will always ask for Shelley. Please treat her well as she would be a huge loss for you and your customers if she were to get scooped up by another restaurant. Thank you, Melissa S.

We went to Matt the Miller's on a Friday evening and sat in the bar area. Our server was very attentive. She let us sit until we were ready to order and always seemed to be back when we needed her. We ordered appetizers and salads and everything was delicious.

Everyone enjoyed their food, chef did a very nice job. I rated the service as good and would have been rated as very good if they had been better about refilling drinks. We were with a group, my wife and I will be going back again with just the two of us and see how that works out.

We went for a late dinner around 815pm. I think about 5 other parties were in there at the time so noise level was very low. Food came out fast and was good but I will say on the higher end for what it is.
