10/10 experience! The epitome of upscale dining! The entire team was incredibly welcoming and enjoyed our curiosity - Matsuyoi is not just a meal, it’s an experience that will stay with you long after you have left. An absolute must visit for anyone that appreciates the art of a unique Japanese chef’s counter experience. Won’t be a hidden gem for long as this team is putting out some of the most elevated and refined cuisine in Miami! Thanks for making our anniversary dinner something we’ll be talking for years to come!

For real this team deeply cares. As a solo diner they all looked after me like one of their own from start to beyond finish. I recently had knee surgery and they made sure to escort me all the way to my uber and wave them closer to me. Food was exceptional, the Chefs were relaxed and enjoying what they’re doing which always mean a great product, I’ll be back!

Espectacular. An experience everyone must try at least once. The quality of the food and service has match. I'm always doubting about design district restaurants as they tend to be name only (except for a very few), but this one changed my mind. Loved it. Went there for my husband's birthday and he loved it as well. Also, you'll end up satisfied. Don't eat too much prior to going.

My friend and I had an incredible experience at Matsuyoi. The food was out of this world — every bite was thoughtful, fresh, and full of flavor. But it wasn’t just the food that stood out. The ambiance, the service, the energy — it was all beyond anything we expected. You can tell the team genuinely loves what they do, and it makes the whole experience feel special. I know some people might feel a little overwhelmed or hesitant about trying an omakase-style restaurant, but Matsuyoi makes it so easy to relax and enjoy. Their attitude is truly, “just grab a seat — we’ll take care of all the details.” And they mean it. That said, part of the magic comes from you, too. You have to bring a little curiosity and openness with you. If you walk in determined not to have a good time, there’s only so much even the most amazing team can do. But if you show up ready to trust the process and enjoy yourself, Matsuyoi will absolutely deliver an unforgettable night.
