   Food is excellent. Presentation is excellent. Service is spotless. Sake selection (in my inexperienced opinion) quite good. I have dined twice at Matsukawa and have never been less than impressed. I am not sure how the Michelin guide selection works exactly but if they keep up the quality and consistency I see them acquiring a star (if they go for it). My advice would be to test this omakase experience before it gets even more popular. Finding a table is already quite hard anyway. Anyone who has any interst in the Japanese cuisine should try Matsukawa at least once

   An amazing experience! It’s just so intimate and such a nice atmosphere. My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our birthdays as a present to each other, the staff were so helpful. The two of us were a bit not keen on sake but the waitress recommended one to us and it’s not like cheaper sakes out there that we’ve tasted. The food quality was excellent, we didn’t love everything which is to be expected in an 18 course menu but loved 95% of the dishes! The chef was so kind and chatted to us all at the end. He explained everything thoroughly. Such good value for money, it was €120 each for the two menus, two still waters and one sake each. For such a unique menu, and being the only omakase restaurant in Ireland, so worth it for special occasions! We will definitely be back again after a few years to try some new dishes hopefully!

   This was such a memorable and special meal. Everything here was amazing - from the food to the drinks to the staff. I will definitely be back!

   It was hands down the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The staff was amazing. The chef prepared each dish as if he was an artist. Absolutely incredible.

   Great experience and hands down the best sushi I have tried in Dublin! All the fish and seafood was of really high quality and staff were amazing! Definitely recommend trying!
