The award-winning Japanese star-chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa inaugurated his gourmet restaurant Matsuhisa Munich on June 28th 2016 at Mandarin Oriental, Munich with a traditional sake ceremony. Inspired by the success of legendary high-society hotspot Matsuhisa Beverly Hills is Nobu’s first restaurant in Germany and the seventh Matsuhisa Restaurant worldwide. Marking the first-ever arrival of a celebrity-chef gourmet concept in Germany.

The Japanese-Peruvian cuisine created and interpreted by Nobu includes signature dishes like the legendary “Black Cod“ and Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño Dressing, as well as grilled favourites like the Peruvian style Rib Eye Anticucho and traditional Sushi.

    War ein schöner Abend. Wir haben uns vom Omakase Menü überraschen lassen und fanden die Auswahl sehr gut. Auch die Weinempfehlung des Kellners hat gut gepasst. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis halten wir für sehr gut - elegante Atmosphäre, gute und kreative Gerichte, hochwertige Zutaten, ideale Portionsgröße und guter Service sind dort auf jeden Fall ihren Preis wert.

    Hier gibt es Asiatisch auf höchstem Niveau - auch in München. Kommt natürlich mit einem entsprechendem Preisniveau. Service und Qualität des Essens sind absolut top. Kann man wirklich mit London Qualität vergleichen. Schade, dass man nur so kurze Zeitlos bekommen kann - mit dem Dessert mussten wir uns tatsächlich richtig beeilen, da der Tisch dann wieder frei werden musste.

    Food was good. Service was friendly and fast. Unfortunately, service was running all the time. This kills the ambiance. No amuse-bouche. Very loud music.

    Alle Gerichte waren vorzüglich. Die Bedienung zuvorkommend. Ambiente sehr ansprechend. Corona-bedingte Maßnahmen dezent und zufriedenstellend vorgenommen.
