The service was excellent at Matisse restaurant. Food was tasty. The dining staff was so accommodating to their patrons. This was my first dining experience at the restaurant. I will definitely return.

Matisse has become the "go to" location for my son & me for special holidays when there is not a larger (extended) family gathering planned. Last night (Christmas) was another one of these occasions. Just as expected, the menu, service & ambiance did not disappoint. Of course, Beautiful Wendy was there to greet & seat us, just as she always is, with her warm & genuine smile. The chef always creates a very special 3-course menu for specific holidays, with DELICIOUS options! My son's prime rib was cooked to perfection, & my salmon & garlic shrimp was DIVINE, along with my quinoa & spinach! YUMMY! The staff is amazing! They are friendly, quick, efficient, polite & professional. As I mentioned, we have been to Matisse on a few occasions now, & we have seen the same faces there, which tells me Matisse takes care of their employees just as they take care of their customers! CHEERS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone at Matisse, & HEARTFELT THANKS from my son & me, for making our Christmas dinner (& all our other holiday meals we've spent there!) so wonderful!

All courses were horrible. Get a new chef or close your doors Salad was badly cut so impossible to keep on the fork. Prime rib was shoe leather Chocolate lava cake add very little lava and tasted like yesterday’s Cake. All three meals were bad, not prime, 2 very small shrimp with salmon Restaurant used to be fantastic but is horrible now.

I had the Australian Lamb Chops. They were good. I ordered them medium rare and I’d say they were more medium to medium well. A little smaller than what I thought they would be too for $38 plus $9 for a salad. I asked if they were good size because I was hungry and they said yes. Overall, the service was good from Hector, the surroundings were beautiful, and I’d come back for sure...but I’d probably do the filet or the 16 oz ribeye next time.
