My wife’s meal was served 10 minutes before I received my $60 filet. My ala carte potatoes came another Two minutes after that. I cannot remember at any level restaurant receiving our meals with such large time gaps. It was our anniversary and we were looking forward to enjoying a fine meal together. My wife waited to start until my entree arrived but when we queried the server Dana, she just shrugged as this was normal. We had a wonderful experience at the Crosby but would only eat at the Matchstick as if it was bar.

The receptionist was very friendly. Our server Kelly was outstanding, as was her assistant Hannah. The manager Noah came by the table to chat briefly before we ordered. Everyone was super personable, and the food was typical Matchstick…..superb 😊👍

Living eight blocks away, it’s a blessing to have this establishment within walking distance for my business meetings and for special family nights. It was pretty loud last night with the garage doors open, and it got pretty cool inside before they closed them up, but the staff, food and ambience was fantastic! Chris has a beautiful establishment. Knowing the carpenter personally, who did all of the work work inside, it really is something to see. Stunningly beautiful.

Dinner was delicious! Our server, Kelly, was amazing & attentive. The restaurant manager, Noah, stopped by our table several times. He was very knowledgeable about the liquor selection. It was a great experience!

Surprised to get a last minute reservation at this Stillwater hotspot. We were seated immediately upon arrival and ironically at the same table we had last time. Service was amazing, prompt, kind and efficient. We ordered a number of things to share including the chopped salad, the chicken wings, potato pave as a side, the Korean ribs and the Bucatini pasta. When ended with the chocolate cherry cake that’s big enough for 6 people to share. Cocktails and beer were excellent. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing experience at Matchsticks this evening! The food was absolutely incredible, and the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and truly top-notch. However, we were disappointed by the reservation process. We originally wanted a 6:30 PM reservation but were forced to book a 5:00 PM slot because everything appeared fully booked on OpenTable. Yet, after spending four hours at the restaurant, we noticed several tables that remained empty the entire night. (This reservation was booked 2 weeks prior) It’s frustrating to see a great restaurant potentially losing business due to an inefficient reservation system. Matchsticks should reconsider how they manage reservations to ensure availability reflects actual demand. That said, once you’re there, the experience is fantastic. Highly recommend dining here—just be prepared for some reservation challenges!

Very cool atmosphere with all the liquor bottles around the dining room yet also a bit upscale. Food was very good with fresh and home made ingredients. Highly recommend.

Service was excellent, nice atmosphere to match. A little disappointed with cheeseburger. Cheese wasn't a slice and could of used a stronger bun to hold juices. There was red juice all over the plate. Asked for pink, but it was really pink, so keep in mind since chefs have various views on that request. French fries were excellent, just wish it was fried in duck fat or beef tallow. But they were very good! Wedge salad was good. Tomatoes a little sloshy, but it is winter and customers have to keep that in mind. Service was excellent! Our waitress was very good. We went for lunch.
