Should have been great, but some dishes and drinks can be approved upon. The biscuits were amazing and catfish. The Ceasars salad was ok, the seafood egg dish just ok, eggs and bacon, just ok. We weren't told about the taco and waffle bar until we were about to leave. The lemon drop drink was warm, had to send everyone's back to be shaken and chilled. Unfortunately, I feel like this restaurant is running on autopilot for brunch without any thought about quality. I know it's a good price for all you can eat, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't still be at the quality that all Matchboxes give. The Fairfax location never disappoints. The DJ was really good. Appreciate that. The server was good...except for forgetting the taco and waffle bar. Oh well.

Overall, the food was decent and the DJ helped to improve the experience. I had to ask the waiter to order food even though it did not seem to be extremely busy. I even went to the bar for water because the waiter had not come back to check on us. Not sure I will visit with my family again for brunch.

While the food is always on point, the customer service we received from the hostess, as well as the one of the managers was unacceptable. The server did come to save the day however, there needs to be Customer Service training done for the hostesses because we were told that we need to sacrifice our reserve time that we made ahead of time in order for groups that came behind us and that is unacceptable. as well as they tried to give us seating that we did not request that was very uncomfortable and that happened twice.

They were such an amazing staff honestly. We had a bit of a situation which resulted in us leaving before we could order, the staff was greatly accommodating and offered to rebook us for a different time. We ended up coming back and had the most amazing time ever!
