This was my first time dining at Matchbox located at Pentagon City. The food was good; however, EVERYTHING that came out was just barely warm (almost cold).

Every time we dine at a Matchbox location, we remind ourselves to dine there more often There was something on the menu for every member of our group, and the staff did not rush us through our meal and conversation. Next time, we will save room for dessert!

We had to sit upstairs and it was extremely hot. Then they brought out dirty plates we sent them back then they brought out those dirty place again and even had gum stick to the bottom of a plate.

Brunch was amazing! I’ve had Matchbox before, but never for brunch and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible, and we honestly tried a little bit of everything. It definitely felt like a celebration! The DJ gave shoutouts to all the birthday guests, which added such a fun vibe to the whole experience. The servers were busy, but ours was fantastic super helpful and gave great recommendations on what to order. We’ll definitely be coming back. My man truly enjoyed celebrating his birthday there!

This reservation was booked as a suggestion from previous encounters at this location. To hear that the customer service from the waitress serving my supervisor was absolutely rude was very shocking. She made the table aware of the bar closing but did not mention that the kitchen closed and my boss was trying to order dessert. She informed the table that she did forget to mention it and "oh well" (her exact words). After a request was made to speak with a manager by the table, now all of a sudden dessert can be made available. Please allow your waiters to have clear communication with guest upfront to avoid these issues

Overpriced brunch with low-quality food. Nothing that my party order was great. Catfish and grits was decent, all others were VERY mid. Dirty plates on the buffet (6 before I got to a clean plate), lemon ricotta pancakes tasted like artificial lemon flavoring, eggs did not taste like freshly scrambled eggs, steak tips were tough, I could go on. Table and chair had crumbs on arrival. Very low-quality and not the same as the regular dinner service. I was disappointed and will not return. SO MANY better options at the same price point. Choose wisely.

We came on a Saturday & did the brunch. It’s $62 which is a little pricey. The portions they give are as if it’s a full meal which kind of makes up for the price. We also did the $40 champagne tower and my oh my that watermelon one was delicious! There was also a make your own taco station, make your own waffle station, a cotton candy machine, a popcorn machine, and an ice cream station. Everything was great but just bring down the price, especially since drinks aren’t included.
