   Food was very good and reasonably priced. Music was extremely loud for 5pm on a Sunday, so we opted to sit outside. Drinks (initial and refills) for a table of four seemed to take 15-20 minutes each.

   The hostess and waitress did everything to make us feel comfortable and have a wonderful experience. My daughter and I were very impressed with the service. I don’t normally leave written reviews, but the service was that good the last time we went. Outstanding. Many thanks to the hostess and our waitress. I’m not sure if this message would get back to them and I didn’t catch their names but it was Thursday night, the hostess was a slim young lady and the waitress had a beautiful Colombian accent. Their service was fantastic.

   The music was blasting inside, we could barely hear the waitress. The AC was out and the hostess didn’t even mention it, because if we knew it was out we would have sat outside. Also, my son’s drinks were flat and their orders were not right.

   Food was good. Service at this location is always very slow. We had a party of 5 and it took us over 40 minutes to get our lunch (pizza, chicken sandwich, salads). The restaurant was very empty- I would have expected better service.

   Some of the meals you can get are tasty some of them not so much. Doesn’t exactly taste fresh. The food is not really that hot when you get it. Maybe some of the items are reheated and some are made to order you’re not able to make any changes or . I may go back to matchbox, but I probably wouldn’t do the brunch again.. 20% fee added for a group of five people totaled up to over $200 for not that great meal

   Food Service and DJ was absolutely amazing fresh and hot food is always a hit!!! Will be returning at least once a month

   This used to be a go-to brunch spot for my friends and I on weekends, very wheelchair friendly, good food, QUIET, and reasonably priced. We were shocked yesterday when we showed up to maximum volume, bass-thumping music that made me feel like I was in a nightclub. This was at 11:30 a.m. on a Sunday. Conversation across the table was impossible. If there were reservations available at any other restaurant in the mosaic district, we would have left immediately. Anyone considering this nightmare scenario should also be advised: The brunch menu is now only an all you can eat affair for $32 dollars. Ordering a la carte is not an option. As (now former) regulars to this restaurant, we complained that there was no signage, nothing on their website, and no warning in the open table reservation system to indicate the transition to the $32 menu. After complaining to management, we were finally offered the option of ordering a la carte. Kudos to our server, who was very apologetic and just as attentative. He said the change has just gone into effect in the last couple of weeks, and many people are complaining. I'm not sure what clientele Matchbox is trying to attract with this horrible, incredibly loud music and simultaneous switch to a no more a la carte menu. We will never, ever be back.

   Jason was an outstanding server. He was very engaging and receptive to our concerns. The food wasn't impressive. I clearly understood that this was their first attempt at breakfast. The potatoes weren't seasoned. The eggs looked processed. They can get rid of the Taco bar and replace it with fresh fruit and salads. Everything seemed rushed, except for the waffles. I didn't like how I had to figure out where all of the stations were. Signs and directions would be great if the ppl working there aren't available to show you. The shrimp and grits and catfish were great.

   Really poor service. Bar really slow while the place wasn’t crowded. Only 1 server to our section that wasn’t busy and it still took her forever. She was kind but kind of confused and befuddled. Wouldn’t go back.

    They placed our party of 6 in a booth in the back room where the heat must have been on full blast, else the AC was not working. It was so hot. The server did not come by to ask for our drink order for a while. We kept having to wave them down to get any sort of services and/or follow up service. Not the best experience...
