   Bottomless brunch was amazing! Our server Yvonne was equally pleasant and her service was impeccable. We tried just about everything and nothing was short of perfection. We’ll definitely return for dinner and we’ll make sure we get Yvonne again.

   Uneventful This was not a traditional buffet albeit you can eat all you want within 2 hours you must order from the menu. I was under the impression after all th he reading and pictures that they had an omelette station etc. they did not Server was great welcome staff was great!

   It’s a nice idea for the brunch but the service was entirely to slow and waiting for food to be brought to you for over 30+ min while the kitchen and waiters were in full scramble mode isn’t a good look.

   I don’t usually leave reviews, but our experience at Matchbox in McLean was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to share. We had an 11:30 AM reservation and were seated on time, but that’s about the only thing that went smoothly. From the start, our server was inattentive and borderline rude. He hardly checked on our table the entire time. His attitude came off as completely disinterested and unpleasant, which set a negative tone for the whole meal. We ordered the sharable biscuits and a side of bacon, which never came, and we never got glasses for the unlimited mimosas either. It felt like we were completely overlooked and forgotten. Overall, the service was shockingly poor, and it really overshadowed the food (what we did receive of it). There are too many great dining options in the area to waste time and money here. Definitely won’t be returning.

   Food was very good overall, but the mini burger order ranged from raw to well done. Some guests in our party also commented that some of the food items like the potatoes and the catfish were not well seasoned.  The service was also pretty good though the water was never refilled.

   Went to Matchbox in McLean for the family style brunch. It was okay. The food assortment was alright and of decent quality. In my opinion it was lacking some of the fresher foods I like to see at brunch buffets like salads, fresh fruit, and maybe yogurt parfait. The spinach dip (served on a grilled bread) was probably the highlight along with the bottomless drinks for $25. I had several strawberry lemon drop martinis. We also ordered chicken and waffles which were made well. Aside from that we had the ultimate breakfast sandwich which was pretty good. Overall, it was decent. I wasn’t wowed. Our server was pretty good. She stopped by every few minutes to see if we’d like to put in another order (the buffet is all you can order, not traditional style). So we did truly feel like we had the opportunity to get our money’s worth. Would be awesome if the menu was more expansive.

   If you’re looking for a great brunch bang for your buck good food and good drinks Matchbox is that brunch.

    Food and service were good. One comment on value. We normally dine at the Rockville Matchbox where a salad is included with your entree. For unknown reasons that is not the case at the McLean Matchbox which can have an unexpected impact on your bill if you order a salad.
