   The food was good, but the service was lacking. Our server rarely checked on us, which meant we were without drinks for too long. Dirty dishes weren't removed promptly. We weren't offered the dessert menu. Only realized after we had left that there even was a dessert menu.

   We had a wonderful time. The service was amazing. Great music playing in the background. The food was fresh. Nice size portions. Great variety special shout out to Eduardo, Johnthan and Erik and the new girl who started today. I wish I had her name. They took really good care of my party and I’m looking forward to returning and sharing this experience with others.

   My reservation was at 145 and I did not see the waitress until 2pm. She barely came to our table. We had to ask a table busser to find her when we needed her. We would see so many waiters/servers walking around except ours. There was no urgency or care for that matter. We had our small glass of water refilled once in two hours. We had to ask the waiter from another table for water. We were not attended to. We saw the waiter next to us every five to ten minutes visiting his table. If this is the standard, we will not return to this location or we’ll just sit at the bar. Not so great for our first experience.

   This Bethesda location honestly doesn't compare to the MATCHBOX SILVER SPRING. The staff might have been light, but it took a while to bee seen an d checked on. Our server was the bartender and couldn't be as attentive as a true waiter. The wait staff helped as much as possible but could never get our orders to us, even after making three requests for one thing. The SILVER SPRING location honestly set the FIVE STAR STANDARD that the Bethesda location couldn't compare to.

   They are trying out an unlimited brunch menu and still working out the kinks. After a 10 min wait without seeing a waiter I went to find someone and asked if we could be seen. After we placed our first order, only two of the three items were delivered and one item was wrong. We were encouraged to order our second round and by the time that food arrived the missing first order arrived. You are given a two hour limit so you suddenly feel pressured to eat quickly. The kitchen is still working out the pacing of an unlimited menu so bring your patience.

   We only saw our waiter twice during the hole meal. Had to flag another waiter down to get out check. Food was okay not the best I have had better. The noise from the sound system made it had to have a conversation. Staff did not feel welcoming.
