Match 65 Brasserie (formerly Paris Match)
I tried the daily dish which was lamb rack. Delicious. And a Belgian fresh beer Hoegaarden. Nice place and friendly staff
We really like this place. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy and the food quite good. But the last two or three times we’ve been we felt rushed. Couldn’t quite understand it because they weren’t crowded. The servers were polite but when you get a sense that check is destined to get on the table in 45 minutes or bust, you just don’t feel fully welcome.
What a lovely spot on Upper East Side, moderately quiet for a business lunch or date, French ambience with menu to compliment the vibe, decent wine list and specials like Foie gras, so worth to bookmark it!
I love this restaurant -it's consistent and the staff are outstanding. It has become my goto place.
Wonderful. Delicious food and great atmosphere.
Excellent as always! The fish was (i.e. tasted) relly fresh, which you would think is not surprising in any decent New York restaurant, but...
The food and service is fantastic. I would recommend to anyone looking to dine on the Upper Eastside. It’s now on my list of regular restaurants in the neighborhood.
Great food, great location. I understand it but I hate it when the tables are crammed in on top of one another with not enough space in between.
It was my bday and I really appreciated the fact that they accommodated me outside, as I requested. My friends and I had a very relaxing evening with the best Vodka Martini, Aperol Spritz and an astonishing Prosecco Strawberry Piscine. Finally a Tarte Tatin was the perfect “cherry on the cake”
Great spot on the Upper East Side. One of our favorite places to dine at!
It was absolutely a delight to dine there. The food was delicious and the service was great. The tables are a bit too close together. But we were there for an early dinner. So it was not so crowded.
We will definitely go there again
Excellent service; not pushy. Helped make recommendations.
Crab cake was amazing, as was the lobster (Thursday night special).
Will definitely be back
Nice, casual neighborhood place for dinner. The portions sizes are good. I had a soup of the day (squash with ginger) which was just OK, had a good ginger taste but not much else. Also had Poulet Roti which was not bad but a little bland. The other diners had crabcake which was very good, filet mignon and trout. I didn't try the trout but the presentation was amazing. This is a great, reliable brasserie for a dependable meal and really captures a feeling of a French casual spot. Would definitely eat here again.
Excellent French ambiance with food to match. Servers are attentive and helpful.
I have previously really enjoyed this restaurant but not this last time. The service was horrible. We shouldn’t have even tipped, but we did. It was Bastille Day, the restaurant was nearly empty, yet the waitresses were either nowhere to be found or appeared to be ignoring diners. Food was ok
But not worth all the waiting.
This was my fifth time ... and again great experience .
Yellowfin Tuna tartare my favorite I will say one of the best in town.
Also nice delicious summer drinks at bar.
Will come back again.
Love their food and atmosphere. Really reminds me of Paris.
couldn't finish it but delicious
would go back
night too noisy
Good local bistro.....food is well prepared....service is helpful although under a great deal of pressure...not enough wait staff for the number of tables.....
We loved this restaurant! Will return each time we are in New York.
We were very comfortable. The service was very good and when we were there the restaurant was very quiet. Maybe I suggest that it should be nice a Children Menu. We were white a five years old girl and it’s easier when then have a simple Menu
Really warm and enjoyable family night. Marika was diligent and attentive.
Delightful neighborhood spot. I enjoy the salad Nicoise. Cocktail and wine selection is good, and the servers are friendly. Nice comfort fare in cold and warm weather.
Very good. My daughter loved the Mac n Cheese, and my Chicken Salad with quinoa was delicious. Very NYC, very casual, very delicious. Will go back.
Our favorite neighborhood spot. The BEST staff, terrific service, relaxing ambience, delicious food.
it was so noisy that the 2 couples I invited wanted to leave
hamburger and french fries good
hate the cheap glass they serve wine in my the glass
even though the restaurant was packed the atmosphere was very cozy and my friend and I had the chance to relax and enjoy ourselves eating a special tuna tartar, the Match broccoli and our favorite Martini Vodka
omg so yummy and the staff was great
We found the restaurant very noisy. Not a great place to go if you want to visit.
The food was very good. I had the trout and it was perfect.
One of us had the steak tartar and said it was very good as was the steak frites.
Would certainly return.
Met a friend for lunch and had a lovely table outside in the sun....with great food and service.
Great food, great service great ambiance. I had a fabulous dinner !
The staff was extremely attentive. My trout was cooked perfectly. It was a wonderful evening.
Remember this ..Match Brussels Sprout .. I’ll be back just for that and a class of rose’
Good food and very good service. Reasonable prices but tight seating. Very well done menu and feeling of Paris. Bistro. Pleasant evening with very interesting wine choices.
Lovely atmosphere and lovely service make for a lovely experience. We will return!
Food is delicious but pricey. I had a cheeseburger and with tip ended up paying 35 dollars. That's a lot of money for a burger. But it's authentically French and everything was lovely. A typical French brasserie.
The service is impeccable: attentive, friendly, and polite. No need goes unnoticed. The atmosphere is likewise fantastic: cozy, authentic, and tourist free! It's a local place and it feels like it, in the very best way possible. The food is great, although the quality (on a spectrum of good to excellent) depends on whose in the kitchen. I was a little underwhelmed during my most recent visit. My meal was good, but the portion was smaller than usual and it seemed rushed. Generally, a lot of love goes into each dish! As far as price, each plate is about $5-$8 too expensive. It's a bistro that serves french comfort food and the menu is standard fare. That said, the location is by the park, which most likely accounts for the upcharge. Overall, I would definitely recommend!
