Table was cramped, not enough room for 4 people. Asked hostess to move, she said no.

Match 65 may be the closest Manhattan has to a true Parisian brasserie. The ambiance is perfect, the service is superb, and the food is quite good. This is definitely worth a try if you are anywhere near the neighborhood.

Very pleased with the service and food. The service people were attentive & professional.
I sat on a cushion bench which was very comfortable but my partner thought the chairs were a little uncomfortable.

We enjoyed our lunch very much...We chose the Restaurant Week menu...While the selection was very limited, the food was very good. The Crepe Suzette Flambe was awesome.Beware though the cocktails are quite expensive. The wait staff was very attentive and the ambiance was very French...Enjoyed our lunch

Wonderful French food and service. Trout and crepes were outstanding. Service very friendly and efficient. My friends & I felt we were in Paris while centrally located on the Upper East Side!

Not a single dish was good and one was literally inedible. Wine list is mediocre and grossly overpriced. Noise levels are numbing. But if you want to have a mediocre meal in a Disney version of a French bistro this might be your sort of place. On a positive note, the people running it are very nice.

This is the first time a host didn’t want to seat me because I was too early! The food was good although overpriced. The space is far too small & crowded to enjoy the overpriced meal.

Food was pretty mediocre as was the cocktail I ordered (a Manhattan). Nothing was poor but it’s not inexpensive and there are certainly much better meals to be had in the area for the same or lower price.

The food is always great and the service as well. My only criticism was that I've ordered Branzino fish the last 2 times and what they served was NOT Branzino. I've heard that some restaurants substitute with less expensive fishes.

I eat and cook Branzino 3-4 times a week growing up in the mediterranean. The fish was well prepared, but it was definitely not Branzino.

Great service....

The food was very average for the price. Our waitress barely came over to check on us/offer service.

The noise level was fairly high so hard to hear myself talk at times.

Food ok, overpriced cocktails, served in a small whisky glass filled to brim with ice @ 16.00 dollars! 2 sips and it’s done. Who serves champagne cocktails in a whiskey glass!?
Nice atmosphere terrible staff, no friendliness, no one checked on us to see if our meal was ok, only to ask if we wanted more drinks. We would smile and say please and thank you with no response whatsoever. They all seemed very unhappy with an ice cold look and demeanor as if they were forced to be there, like a part of a communist regime. Will never go back. Someone should tell them a little pleasantness goes a long way.

We live in the neighborhood and decided to have brunch. The decor was warm. We ordered tuna tartare to share and it was a generous portion and tasted good. My husband ordered eggs Benedict and I ordered a hamburger which came medium, as requested, on a delicious brioche bun. This restaurant is a friendly place to eat and everyone seemed to be a “regular”. We hope to become part of that group.

Reliable French bistro - nothing extraordinary, but all very good. We enjoyed the beet/chevre salad, escargot, moules frites, and chicken in a forestiere mushroom sauce, and would gladly order all again. It was a little noisy for easy conversation, but not impossibly so.
