Ate in the lounge enjoyed the music. Service was great
Celebrating a birthday and end of vacation. Wonderful!
The steaks were amazing
We had a great date night at Mastros’s. The service was excellent, the drinks were fabulous, The dungeoness crab cocktail is amazing. Our salad and steaks were delicious. The butter cake is to die for! We will definitely be coming back!
Excellent food and service. Five Star restaurant.
Exceptional food and service. We went there for our anniversary. The rack of lamb was amazing.
Best steak anywhere!
Awesome food and service at this location. Music was a bit loud, and was a bit of a strange selection for such a nice place, but otherwise it was a wonderful experience.
Was with our boat buddy’s - got a private room - top notch!
Great service and food as always. My favorite steakhouse even after 55 years in Chicago.
Should not be allowed to serve fish. Really no value whatever. Charging a lot for a steak doesn’t alone make it worthwhile. I will move on somewhere else next time.
The food is delicious! Ask for "Ari", he's one of the best waiters I've ever had.
Good food, but pricey. Would recommend.
We travel to Scottsdale frequently and while there are numerous excellent steak
houses Mastro's (North Scottsdale) is far and away the best. Everything from the extensive menu to the very professional wait staff is a notch above the competition. Everything about Mastro's seems to get better with age and we can't wait to return.
This was Fantastic! I am from out of state and brought a group of business partners for a evening of fun, and was not disappointed. Would recommend to anyone, great time!!
Excellent experience alaround
Always the best! Staff is wonderful. Food is wonderful. Atmosphere is fun! Love this restaurant so much❤️
This place never disappoints! The chef is amazing and the waitstaff is increadible. It’s not somewhere we are able to go to all the time but it’s well worth the price when we do go!
Awesome dinner celebrating our anniversary with friends! Great food and service. Steaks are cooked to perfection and the lemon drops...yum!
We came to Mastros to celebrate our son’s fifty birthday
We thought we had a nice quiet room.
Within thirty minutes of being seated a large party was seated in a room adjacent to ours. There was a curtain between the rooms. The group in the other dining room was loud and obnoxious . I kept trying to ask someone to
At least close the curtain, no one seemed to care.
The entire evening was ruined by this situation.
Not to mention the bug in one of our salads and fish that was sub par. Also, chocolate that was inedible
Mastros, in my opinion has lost it’s edge.
1st. Troy is an incredible waiter that any server should be taking notes of. Can’t say enough about the service.
2. The food was outstanding from starters all the way down to dessert and cocktails.
Always amazing service and the food is always just right ... if it’s not they make it right. 10 out of 10
I have recently been to Steak 44 and Lincoln at Camelback Inn and both were far superior. The ambience desperately needs updating, the service was eh and the food was not half as good as your competitors at the same price. Will not return.
First I need to say we went on Easter Sunday. The meal was certainly in our top 10 of all time. Husband and I shared escargot. Only complaint there was the puff pastry fell apart so not food for dipping into the butter garlic the escargot were in. Husband didn't care for the chopped wedge salad as he prefers it whole and though very good, I agree with him....let ME cut my salad. My son had lobster bisque that he said was very delicious. For entrees, husband and I split the halibut with Alexander sauce on it. This had to be the most tender fish I've had in a LONG time and the sauce was perfection. My son order a bone in rib-eye cooked medium rare. To my eye, what he got was medium. I had a bite and thought it a little dry. But the béarnaise I ordered with it saved it. Still, I didn't eat any more of it. For sides, we ordered the gorgonzola mac and cheese. The guys seemed to really like it but I've had many mac and cheese and I do think it needed to be a little creamier. I'm the only one that likes mushrooms so I got the rosemary sautéed mushrooms. Never would I have thought that they would be as crave-worthy as they were. A ton of them but so, so good. For dessert my son order the 5 layer chocolate cake. It was like a chocolate mountain. Four people couldn't finish it off. But it was very impressive. Husband had the key lime pie and it was super creamy, almost like a key lime cheese cake. He polished off the leftovers the following evening. Our waiter, Tobias, did an OUTSTANDING job and when we go back I'll make a point of requesting him. Pricey but worth it, even with the few flaws. We were celebrating not only Easter but the successfully cancer surgery my husband went through 3 weeks prior. I'm considering going back for my 60th birthday in July.
This was the first time we went for a holiday. The brunch was amazing and everything was delish and spot on. Service is outstanding as always. I highly recommend a meal at Mastro's.
We have enjoyed wonderful meals at Mastro's, but this was our first time to experience their Easter brunch. It was fantastic! The menu items were high quality and well prepared. There was a nice variety of things from breakfast foods to shellfish to sushi to entrees and desserts. Everything was flavorful and delicious. The staff was pleasant and helpful despite the chaotic atmosphere. We felt that the pricing was fair for what you received and we would definitely do it again.
We always enjoy dining at Mastro's Steakhouse. The Easter Brunch is exceptional!
Could not pick a better restaurant! Our favorite in Scottsdale! Food, staff, service, atmosphere are always perfect! Never disappoints!
Awesome place to eat! You have to try at least once and you will be hooked!!! Seafood Tower is a must! Great service and food and a wonderful experience!
BEST STEAK HOUSE BEATS ANY OF THE OTHERS!
The service was great...the dress code was NOT enforced so we had people with gym shorts and Nike tee shirts at the next table and they were a bit drunk and loud....as we were trying to make a very special night for our 80 year old parents!!! Had I known it was that “loose” I would have gone somewhere else as we spent $1,000 for the 5 of us to have expectations so high given the price point, only to have a very marginal experience!!!
When you charge these fees, the food needs to be right and it needs to be served at the right temp!!! Sending back “cold” fish as the night’s special was embarrassing at best!!! And no one apologized for the cold food nor offered any explanation. Plus it took 15 mins to reheat it, so the others were done eating when our reheated food arrived.....NICE!!!
We will not eat there again!!! Very over-rated....and I travel on business all over the country, and I’d be embarrassed if I were the dining room manager given it was a Friday night, big crowd, and such marginal atmosphere and to serve 3 of the 5 meals at “cold” temps....not room temp....COLD....
Our waiter was the only positive!!!
Sorry Mastros...but we wasted $1,000 and disappointed our parents on their special night!!! We didn’t even take home he leftovers as we were sooooo disappointed!!!
I’m sure this review doesn’t matter given how crowded it was ....but I will share this experience with anyone willing to listen.
Food and service was great as expected from mastro’s. No fault of our waiter but they were stacking plates on a table next to ours, the table was not able to support the weight and the plates came crashing down on my girlfriend and myself. They did move us so they could clean up the large mess of broken glass, the managers seemed to care and comped the two meals and a desert for the mess. But then billed us for the sides and water the wine was not expected to be comped as it was rather expensive but when you girlfriend wakes up the next morning with bruises all over her calves and feet from the 36 plus dinner plates that crash landed on them. I was a little disappointed with the response from such a big ordeal that did end up ruining the din we Forsure. We still
Love Mastro’s but don’t think we will go to this specific one again.
Our server was friendly initially. We didn’t order any of the specials or appetizers. After that, service was terrible. We were never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert and needed to ask another server to bring our bill. When we go to high end restaurants, the service is usually impeccable. This was a huge, expensive disappointment.
As usual the food was outstanding if a bit expensive. Very good service and overall a good dining experience.
Birthday dinner. Service , food and atmosphere were top notch.
My wife’s crab cakes came out cold. The waiter was not very attentive.
We all got sick!! We think it was oysters!!
Food is spectacular as always! From drinks to Apps, and finally to dessert, every trip to Mastro's makes you feel like you are a VIP!! Also, the BUTTER CAKE NEVER GETS OLD!! order extra ice cream with it!! Its worth it!!
