We came here to celebrate our anniversary. Upon arriving bread was delivered to our table ( we did not ask for it) so I just figured it was complimentary but it was not we were charged for bread. We ordered our food and all though no the of our steaks were undercooked to our liking we both were okay with it. Once we’re finished they asked if we wanted dessert and we said no. Our server said dessert was on him because it was our anniversary well low and behold we were charged for the dessert. We also were charged $5 for a Diet Coke. In full disclosure we didn’t not review our bill until the next day so I didn’t bring it to anyone’s attention, but I do feel like we were nickel and dimes here. My husband bought the $150 steak give him that Diet Coke for free! We also got the specialty butter that is not on the menu and they charged us $15 each for that. I know this is a very expensive place which is fine!
Mastros is my favorite restaurant in the whole wide world ! Best food , great people ! Under all the current restrictions the are doing a fabulous job of maintaining there standards !

Service was impeccable! Best lemon drop martini I’ve ever had. Food was incredible! Highly recommend. Server was Lisa. She was awesome! The whole staff was awesome.
Where do I start? First, I’ll say that my wife and I’ve eaten at every five star steakhouse chain in the US, with no exceptions that I’m aware of. We’ve also dined at quite a few of the five star independent steakhouses. We like steak.
So with Mastro‘s, where do I begin? Our filet was probably the best I’ve ever had, bar none. The chopped salad? Same thing. The garlic mashed potatoes? Same. Lobster bisque? Very good. But I’ve got to tell you, I’m still not sure exactly what I ate when served the tuna tartare. It was not very good. And the wine list? Shockingly limited. Oh, and I’m saving the best for last - the pricing on Mastro’s menu is insultingly high. Over the top. Even Prime in Vegas is less... Except for the wine maybe. Then again, I already commented on that.
Great food with one exception, and outrageous pricing. Go if you must - just be ready!

We had a wonderful dinner here a few nights. Our server was perfection and the food delectable. This Mastro's is in a strip mall so we were a little worried, but Mastro's does a good job of helping you to forget that. Highly recommend and will return.

Great food, but we were sat next to an extremely loud table of 10 or 12 people that really lowered our level of enjoyment. This is the first time we have run into this at Masto's.

Our waiter was superb and the food never disappoints. The one star rating isn't a reflection on either but rather the rudeness of the host staff when it came to accommodating my wife who is hearing impaired and forcing us to wait outside for our table. The current guidelines set forth by the CDC as well as those of Maricopa County specify that those with disabilities may be exempt from facial coverings. Maricopa County further states in their most recent mandate "A person who declines to wear a face covering because of a medical condition shall not be required to produce documentation verifying the condition." She relies heavily on the ability to read lips and was treated like a leper by host staff. I would strongly recommend that the management have a full understanding of the mandates as well as ADA laws and train staff in such matters.
I had mentioned in the comment& occasion section when making the reservation that it was our anniversary and they didn't even mention it. I also ask for the bar and they did not even try and accommodate.
The Sea Bass had no flavor. They changed the options for french fries they are no longer shoestring type.
We have been coming here since our first date over 11 years ago and this was our 10th anniversary and it was disappointing.
I went there to have a bday dinner for my friends 29th. It was everyone’s first time going so we didn’t know what to expect since it is a very fancy restaurant and we love to order a little bit of everything so we can have many options so we were not sure how this would work out.
I want to give a shout out to our amazing waitress Rebecca. She was full of positive energy, very attentive and informative. She kept hyping us up since we were in bday mood so we were a tad loud for the establishment but she was so great about it.
We ordered but unfortunately they were out of what a few of us wanted to order BUT the manager Eddie accommodated us. Thanks to them we had the best experience at Mastros. From food , service , personality, positive energy to our bill .
Thank you guys for making our Friday night amazing and we would definitely be back to eat more lobster tail .

We had an excellent experience dining with Maestros. Service was impeccable. Food presentation, preparation and taste all exceeded expectations.
Live music in bar/lounge could be heard in dining room and was a nice treat.

This is normally our favorite restaurant. Ive been a regular for years (since 2002- seriously when the Mastros still owned it).
Today, We started out with cocktails and bread basket. Just as our salads arrived the server dumped a full shaker and cocktail into my girlfriends lap. It was a sticky icy mess. The server kind of mumbled an apology said she was holding the shaker lid, and disappeared. 2 other severs escorted us to the front.
The manager asked if we wanted a different table. Seriously? My date is shivering and soaked with a drink. He got part of our dinner to go. Eddie, the manager, did call as I pulled into my driveway to tell me “we will take care of you next Time ”.
When I cut into the double pork chop, it was double RAW. Mmmmm raw pork. I did call back and let them know. “We will make it right next time”.

Excellent food as always. Service was good. Very nice but not very attentive in between wine service. No salt and pepper and couldn’t find anyone to help. Bread plates were taken without asking. Then the bread stayed upon request with no butter or plates.

When we arrived we were seated at a small table against a wall with two people staring at us , The entire restaurant was empty due to an early reservation so I’m not sure why we we were sat there , I did ask to be moved since we were celebrating a special occasion and we were moved to a more intimate setting which was nice .Service was good I would try another location next time if we decide to return to Mastro’s
Everything was great all around. One of the best Oscar Style Filets I’ve ever had.
We usually have a great experience at Mastro's, but we had to send food back and the service was bad. We had to wave people down to get served three times. I'm still not sure who was supposed to be our waiter. Not sure what the deal was, and it's usually good, but not last night.

Overpriced and overrated!
Great service but the food was just OK. When I pay $65 for a steak I want it to taste like a $65 steak; not like a $19 steak! I’ve been to low-end steak places and got more for my money (quality as well as quantity). Even the other high-end steak places have decadent prices but also decadent food.

We sat at a high top in the bar next to the piano and enjoyed the live music and ambiance. Our server was incredible and made our experience special especially for to celebrate my husbands birthday! The drinks were delicious and a great presentation. The lobster bisque was our favorite! We also appreciated that we could order half orders so we didn’t have to waste food.
This maybe the best pork chop I’ve ever had. Tim, Michael, Tobias and Kyle always make us feel special. Truly great people along with atmosphere and food. Five star all the way!
