Our experience was over the moon outstanding! From the hostess who arranged a special table for 5 in the lounge so we could all face the entertainment to CiCi our main server to all the staff! Everyone one was terrific! Everyone agreed it was one our best Tuesdays ever!
Superb dining for special occasions.
Angelo is the best waiter I’ve ever had there since Giuseppe left and that’s not to take anything away from the rest of the wait staff
Food is always good at Mastro’s. Never disappointed there. Wait staff was attentive despite being extremely busy. This particular evening, we waited 35 minutes for our table, even though we had a reservation. The hostess was not helpful, bordering on rudeness and clearly needs training and people skills.
Our waiter appeared to be overwhelmed and would disappear for extended periods. The attention to detail and friendliness of the wait staff and host desk was not what I would expect from this caliber of restaurant. The food was excellent.
Fabulous! The food was delicious!
Food and drinks are above average. Service also very good. Our only issue is the cost...$20+ cocktails, $60 steak, $38 lobster mashed potatoes, $34 gnocchi. Yes, all good stuff but very high priced. Not sure it's any better than Eddy V's, Capital Grill, or Morton's.
Had a nice time. Great food this trip. The sea bass was phenomenal and the blue points were among the best I’ve had. Service wasn’t as attentive as I’d expect but satisfactory.
Great experience, great food, exceptional service...
Great food. Amazing. Service was fantastic. Well worth the price.
Birthday dinner for our daughter in law
Expensive. Waiter over- ordered amount of food for table sharing.
The service was so bad I can only blame the management. I have been a patron of Mastro’s for over 17 years and this is not the same place in my opinion. There are too many other options in Scottsdale. We will not be coming back.
This is a fantastic restaurant. There are many places to get a great meal, but the service at this location is phenomenal ... worthy of the high dollar. My only complaint is that charging for every tiny bottle of Coke is a bit ridiculous, use a fountain soda like most restaurants.
The filets that three of us had were outstanding;flavorful and tender. The crab legs were also very goods. The baked potatoes were mediocre at best. My wife does better at home. The onion soup was unremarkable with a lot of croutons. The steaks were better than any others that I have had at area steakhouses.
Food and service was excellent. Loved the butter cake!
Delicious, excellent food and quality that you get at Mastro's. Will be coming back again and again.
Everything was perfect! The food service and the atmosphere are excellent and consistent.
Great time. Ribeye steak was the best ever
Great Date Night! We dined in the M's Bar. Fabulous food!
My husband and I have been dining at Mastro's for many years. It was always a place we would dine for those "special occasions". We dined at Mastro's last year and decided to treat some friends of ours to a dinner there Sunday night. Although the waiters were incredible, we found the quality of the food was not as impressive as in year's past. What really bothered us and soured the evening involved Mastro's restroom management. I can play along with the elitist mentality when it comes to fine food... security people with headsets, high-dollar wines, etc... but I don't understand why Mastro's feels compelled to have bathroom attendants. That in itself seemed ludicrous with only 30 people at the restaurant, but the fact that there was a lovely older, African-American attendant in the men's room, and an older, African-American attendant in the ladie's room was bothersome. Really? The only African-American's in the restaurant as bathroom attendents sends a bad message and leaves dinner parties, like ours, with a sour taste in our mouth. This is 2018, not 1950.
Mastro's is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. We recently celebrated my daughter's birthday there and had an outstanding meal. Our server was attentive but not overbearing and promptly took care of anything we requested. The shrimp cocktail and crab cakes were delicious and everyone who ordered steaks found them to be perfectly prepared. My Australian lobster tail was the largest I have ever ordered anywhere and was so flavorful. And of course no meal at Mastro's is complete without the incredible and worth every calorie butter cake. The dining room is lovely and less noisy than the bar area, but still not conducive to quiet conversation. Overall it is the perfect place for steak lovers to celebrate a special occasion.
This restaurant never disappoints! The food is always outstanding and the service is spectacular!
One of the most expensive steak restaurants in the Phoenix metropolitan area. However, also one of the best. The service is top notch. The food is superb.
Always outstanding. The steaks are awesome as well as the service. It’s a bit pricey but worth it.
Excellent food, service excellent everything was great. I eat here whenever I am in town!
My dry aged steak was over aged and tasted like blue cheese. It was taken away and acknowledged to be bad. We never had the manager stop at our table to apologize. Our wait person was so involved with a table of men that we received minimal attention. She disappeared for long lengths of time and forgot our requests for a wine and extra butter. We could not help but start laughing at the whole experience.
Never been disappointed dining at Mastros.
