Fantastic as always!
nice place, service was very slow except for drinks. appetizer dishes were not cleared until entree's arrived which was annoying since I had a crab legs served in very large bowl of ice. I ordered a rather pricy Japanese Wagyu steak that arrived barely warm and with more fat content that expected. Took quite a while to get those dishes cleared and get a check.
Overall food and experience was okay, just not want I expected or what I paid for given the entrees we selected. I might give it another shot before ruling out, who knows maybe I caught them on a bad night.
Best Steak I have ever had! Service was good, but not exceptional.
The quality of the food is outstanding. Our service was great. Even though I consider this a 5 star restaurant it is very family friendly not snobby like some. They make everyone feel comfortable.
Great experience awesome service
The best steak we've ever had. My husband had the bone in NY strip, it was as tender as butter. I had the beef tenderloin and it was cooked to perfection, tender and tasty. The baked potato was also very tasty without any toppings. For dessert, have the chocolate butter cake. The whole meal was delicious.
Our server Lindsay was wonderful....food always great. It can be loud however it was in the lounge. I’ll be back on March 1 and I hope I can have Lindsay again. Please let them know. Thanks John Harris
My wife and I went to Scottsdale for her Birthday so I made reservations in advance to make sure we could get a table. I put the reason was to celebrate a birthday. Mastro’s called the day of the reservation to confirm the reservation and acknowledge that we were celebrating a birthday. The waiter never acknowledged her Birthday. I don’t understand why businesses ask what the occasion is if they aren’t going to do anything. The Hotel that we stayed at did a cute little thing for her! It was our first time going to Mastro’s.
Always great food and exceptional service! Mike the manager and Tim our server make it a great evening.
Expensive but worth every penny. While I had been to Mastros for both happy hour and a private party, my husband had never been and was dying to go. We went on a Friday night and everything was excellent.
Would definitely go back.
Our server was vey knowledgeable, attentive and personable. Excellent service.
If you're going to spend the money to go to a high-end restaurant, nothing is better and more consistent than Mastro's. 5 star everything! Everything I have ever had on the menu for the last 15 years is the best compared to any other restaurant in the valley. Tonight we had Oysters, Split a Porterhouse with my wife and split a side of truffle butter mushrooms. Absolutely amazing. Drinks are big pours, so the value is there for wine and hand-crafted cocktails.
Valentines Day was amazing!! Can never go wrong with North Scottsdale Mastro’s for amazing food, drinks, and desserts! Can be a little loud at times, but still enjoyable!
Wonder full evening to say the least. I read some reviews that said it was very noisy, but I went ahead anyway. When I arrived I asked the hostess Victoria to see if she could find me a table that was away from the bar, and she said she would see what she could do, being that it was valentines day, it might take a little while and asked to be patient. 10 minutes later we were shown to a great table on the left side of the bar that was perfect!
The waiter and his partner were a blast! very funny and very attentive. They were Ari and Drew, and they made the evening very special. The menu was very extensive, and I realized I left my reading glasses at home. Not to fear, Drew handed me a pair of readers and a small flashlight to take care of that problem! I ordered a 12 ounce fillet with a cold water prawn, with truffle butter for the fillet. My wife ordered a smaller fillet with the truffle butter as well, but left off the prawn. I have to tell you that the fillet was cooked perfectly medium rare and so was my wifes. The prawn was a monster, that had to be 6 ounces at least. After ordering a chopped iceberg salad and ate that prawn, I could only eat half the fillet. I was full. My wife knocked off her fillet and a twice backed potato without a sound. What an amazing treat. I forgot to mention I had a Sashimi appetizer to start with. I really over did it, but hey it was valentines day! They tried to bring me their famous butter cake, but I could not move. The bill was 250.00 for all that, but was it worth it?? You damn right it was. It was the best fillet I ever had, the service was spectacular, and when I go back( which will be soon) I will ask for the same waiters again. Do it!!! It is worth the price and then some.
we go there once a year on valentines day. steaks are great , this time we ordered the mac and cheese also, usually great but this time they slipped in some lobster. it was terrible.
I have been to Mastros before. This time the steak was the best I have ever had. the service was great considering it was Valentine's day and they were slammed
Maestros has excellent steaks and seafood. The bottom less martini was also the best!!! The pecan pie is excellent. Enough for 3 people!!!
Tasty food and impeccable service
Great food & service but pricey. Great wine and liquor selection but very poor beer selection.
I love the ambience and the decour of the restaurant.
The food from the soups, salads, entrees and the desert were excellent! I'm from New Orleans , so I know the taste of great food. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!
From a well satisfied customer
