   Had Reservations and didnt get seated until 20 mins after checking in. You pay a premium for the food and drinks and the attention to reservation are just a waste. They should really only do walks because no point of setting reservations and not getting sat down right away. Allot of other people had the same issue and the lobby fills up quick. Food is overpriced and going to stick with only appetizers and bread. Drinks can get expensive. Our server was great she took care of us right away and checked on multiple times. She gets 10 stars for her service.

   Overall food was good. Be prepared to spend a lot of $$$$$. Server asked if we wanted to add a lobster tail to our steaks. My wife said yes, no price was mentioned and we didn’t ask. ( we should have). When the bill came it was $125 for the lobster tail (the menu said “market”). It was good, but not worth $125. It’s on us for not asking but it also is not a bad idea for the server to mention it, I would not have been offended.

   Amazing food & amazing staff! Valerie was awesome. We even got a call from Mastro’s the next day thanking us for our visit. We’ve been to the Mastro’s in Las Vegas twice, Santa Clara was even better! Highly recommend.

   Excellent service. Saltiest food we've ever had. We went home feeling sick. Overall food quality is just ok. Steaks were so so salty, mac and cheese was really not right. Not creamy and nice as it should be. Salads were just ok. The break was insanely good i should say. Less salt would go a long way. Excellent staff and service and the environment is pretty !

    I’ve been to many steakhouses in the SF Bay Area and this was definitely the best. The chef’s cut ribeye chop was cooked perfect to my request “medium plus”. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely go again soon!

    We were sat at an appropriate time. Drinks came 15 minutes later. Soup didn’t come until 45 minutes. Main course not until an HOUR after initial order. Fortunately our waiter Robert was attentive and apologetic. Managers were also attentive and assisting servers. Food was actually good. I’m hoping the next experience would be favorable with the food being served in a more timely manner.

    Great food and very friendly waitress. The waitress however, disappeared when we needed to leave and we had to flag the manager to check us out. He was quick and friendly. So, all's well... The noise level (live music in the bar area and lower dining room) was higher than comfortable for conversation. We did not go upstairs. So, that might be much quieter. If you are into great food (at high prices) and like an energetic vibe, this is the place for you.

    Amazing atmosphere. We celebrated our anniversary here, and had our two little ones with us. I can’t explain how great the staff was, the food, and to top it off, there was live music. Definitely will be returning soon.

    We usually absolutely love everything at Mastro’s, but this time things were a bit off. It was extremely busy so might be a factor. My husbands, Big Eye Tuna was not as well prepared or plated as last time and the service was very irregular and slow. We will return since this is the first time we were a bit disappointed.

    Mastro's is one of our favorite places. However, we did not have a great mother's day experience. I think they were overwhelmed with the large number of people. It felt like some of the food preparation was a bit off and it was hard to get waiter's attention. They also did not endorse their dress code (there was even a kid who was tossing a frisbee up and down) that night which really hurt the overall feel of the place. I do consider this experience somewhat of a one off and will definitely go back because we have had great experiences there before.

    Today was terrible because for the second time they did not have the wine on the list and then offered no price match and then on top of that charged me for both bottles even though they only served one. And no apologies. Very disappointed

    Maybe because it was Mothers Day our service wasn’t very good. We waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to help us. Then we didn’t get bread for another 20 minutes. Also our drinks didn’t come for a very long time. My beer never did come! Our steak was under cooked. Maybe because it was Mother’s day but I expected better service

    I don't feel Mastros met all the hype. It was slightly above average steak but less impressive was the sides. The ceasar salad was so mid, the mushrooms were very tasty yet drowned in butter, the baked potato was not cooked thoroughly, asparagus good, but nothing great. The one thing that was great was the oyster I had & the apple tini. I'd call this place all looks, no real show there.

    Service and good were excellent! Just beware of any menu item that states “MKT PRICE”!! We ordered king crab legs as a appetizer and the server did say it was $90, but we didn’t think that was for 1 crab leg cut in half!! Yikes!! I asked afterwards if the $90 was “per pound” and it wasn’t. Other than that, it was a nice experience for an early Mother’s Day lunch.

    1st let’s start of with the morning confirmation phone call to confirm time and made it known about dress code . As I walked in there were a few gentleman wearing warriors sleeveless jerseys . A group at a table in front of us wearing sweats . The waitress was nice , gave us her recommendations on dishes . Took forever to get our 1st drinks. We ordered appetizers: tuna tartare , bone marrow & their bacon . Bacon was great , bone marrow and tuna not so good . 2 of us ordered Caesar salad , nothing special . Half way thru our salads our meals came out , never have I been to a 5 star restaurant and your meal comes out while eating your salad . It was party of 4 - my 3 guests ordered steaks , I ordered lobster . 2 of the 3 steaks were over cooked to well after being ordered medium rare & rare . The other steak was cooked to his liking . My lobster was dry and tough. Dessert was warm butter cake - the only missing was the warm . We had high expectations for this restaurant after we had eating at the Las Vegas location which was absolutely great .

    Customer service was horrific. Food was pretty good. Staff was clueless and could not take basic directions. They definitely have a spider infestation problem because out table as well as the one next to us had them crawling on the table sheet. I personally had no problem video recording and stepping on it but still gross. I had to ask for a knife for my steak 3 times and the third time, waiter handed me a butter knife! Asian managers are robots and lack common sense. They do not appreciate customers here and I don't know if this is a Silicon Valley thing, but these brainless techies don't know how to have fun. You will have a much better time at a cheaper place with outgoing people.

    Took awhile for our table to be ready but got to hang out at the bar and had a fun time with the people and bartenders there. Love the lemon drop with dry ice! Got the fries and caesar salad to start and got the Waygu roll and Bone Marrow for light dinner hang out. Would def wanna come back to try more of the sushi rolls and that $300 caviar is calling my name!!

    Over all, it's very good and the food is superb. Service was a slow though, not the fault of my server. HOWEVER, before going there I got call "asking me if I'm aware of the dress code" which was fine until I got there. When I arrived, I saw people in hoodies, workout clothes (literally), even unflattering slippers. NOTHING wrong with that but Mastro DOES NOT adhere to the dress code which they are so particular with. They even have a segment of their website enumerating the DON'Ts. I didn't see staff "policing" these guests, in fact, they seemed to be OK with it. It would be nice if they have such policies and really stick to them. It's such a travesty! I've been to other restaurants with dress codes and they DO IMPLEMENT them.

    I’d recommend Alexander’s Steakhouse for the money. Better food, service, and ambience. Mastro’s is very overpriced for the experience. The restaurant and the waitstaff didn’t match the prices.

    Those with food allergies BEWARE! Despite being extremely clear about my allergies, Literally Everything went wrong with my meal: I had a dairy allergy, gave me a butter coated plate for the butter drenched $95 ribeye, and asparagus cooked in, you guessed it!, butter. Waiter was entirely apologetic, but only comped us the asparagus and kept offering free dairy-filled desserts (what good would that do me?). I had to order a totally different entree or sit there while my companions ate dinner without me so another $50 and 10 minutes later I had a salmon fillet … at a “steakhouse”. The restaurant strives hard to be upscale, including a dress code that people really didn’t follow, but it fails on many fronts given its enormous size. Hostesses stood around chatting instead of offering coat check, dirty dishes left for a long time on the table, cocktails were not craft level, and the generally environment was super loud. I could go on, but this is not a genuine fine dining restaurant. You will have a far better experience at Alexander’s.

    Nice restaurant with wide range of cocktails in their drink menu. and their dessert cocktails is a must try. Not a typical cocktail and taste very good. Food quality is above average. we ordered their waygu, it taste great and cook perfectly. the portion of all the side to pair with main dish was generous. taste is not bad, just too oily. it will be great that if they can prepare the side with slightly lighter in oil. Not too much surprise on their dessert menu, taste was just ok. and i will suggest to reserve the room for another dessert cocktail :) Overall is a good restaurant with good ambience, good service and good quality of food with reasonable price tag.

    The sound is really loud. We ordered lobster bisque, Tomahawk Steak and Asparagus. Lobster bisque is good and creamy. 4 stars Tomahawk steak is cold and can be challenging to chew. Aasparagus is too stringy.

    Much better than my previous experience- The large tattooed bartender at the bar was just as rude and unfriendly as my first visit - makes eye contact then ignores you ! The server was great - friendly and ran through the menu - I had the 8oz Filet medium rare and it was cooked to perfection - cut like butter - one colleague had the lamb which he said was outstanding and the other colleague NY strip which he enjoyed. Food was amazing - very very enjoyable meal -
